ANDERSON COUNTY, SR 62 Bethel Valley Road near Log Mile 6.4 and 6.7: On Monday night, September 19, 2011 and Tuesday night, September 20, 2011, motorists should be alert for possible temporary lane closures between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. as crews perform overhead sign replacements. Motorists should be alert for workers present and use caution in this area.
 
BLOUNT COUNTY, US 321/SR 73 near Cates Street: On Friday, September 16, 2011, motorists should be alert for temporary lane closures between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. as crews reconstruct sidewalks and median in this area. Motorists should be alert for workers present and use caution in this area.
 
BLOUNT COUNTY, US 411/SR 35 Sevierville Road between South Dogwood Drive and Wilcox Street: Beginning Saturday, September 17, 2011 through 6 a.m. Monday, September, 19, 2011, State Route 35/ US 411 in Maryville will be closed to thru traffic and detoured using Wilcox Street and South Dogwood Drive as crews install utilities across the roadway. Motorists should be alert for changed conditions and workers present in this area. Beginning Monday, September 19, 2011, motorists should be alert for flag persons directing traffic at various times daily through this area.
 
BLOUNT COUNTY, TN-73 Scenic (East Lamar Alexander Parkway) at Stables Drive in Townsend:East Lamar Alexander Parkway (TN 73-Scenic) at Stables Drive, near the entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, in Townsend will be reduced to one lane controlled by a temporary traffic signal at various times for the bridge construction project on Stables Drive. Traffic on Stables Drive is also being controlled by a temporary traffic signal. Two travel lanes will be open on Scenic 73 during periods when the contractor is not present and during times when work activities are being performed on the opposite side of the Little River that do not require additional space alongside the roadway. The temporary traffic signals that are currently in place will be set to a cautionary flash during times that both lanes are available for travel. When the lane restriction is in place, the traffic signals will be activated to control the traffic movement one direction at a time. Motorists in this area should be alert for changing conditions, expect potential delays and use extreme caution in this area. 
 
BLOUNT COUNTY, SR 33 Bridge over Little River at Log Mile 16.9:  Motorists should be alert for a lane closure which will reduce the roadway to one lane controlled by a temporary traffic signal. Motorists should be alert for workers present and use extreme caution through this bridge repair project.
 
(Recovery Act Project) CAMPBELL COUNTY, US25W (SR 9) Bridge between Old Jacksboro Hwy. and Cougar Ln:   Motorists should be alert for possible temporary lane closures and traffic shifts through this bridge replacement project. Motorists should reduce speeds and use extreme caution through this area.
 
CARTER COUNTY, SR 91 over Holly Springs Branch at Log Mile 13.07: Motorists should be alert for a one lane condition with a temporary traffic signal controlling traffic in this area. The traffic signal is scheduled to be activated on Monday, September 19, 2011. Motorists should be prepared to stop and use caution traveling through this structure replacement project.
 
CARTER COUNTY, US 321 (SR 159) over Elk River at Log Mile 7.23: US 321/SR 159 is closed to thru traffic and detoured around this bridge replacement project. Motorists should follow signed detour route and adjust travel times accordingly.
 
CARTER COUNTY, SR 359 between Milligan Road (LM 2.5) and US 321 (LM 4.84): Motorists should be alert for temporary lane closures in this area for resurfacing. Motorists should be alert for workers and equipment present and use extreme caution in this area
 
COCKE COUNTY, I-40 East and West between Mile Markers 442 and 451: Motorists should be alert for lane closures in place around the clock in both directions approaching mile markers 443, 447 and 451 as crews perform median wall repairs. Motorists should expect potential delays and use extreme caution in this area. 
 
GRAINGER COUNTY, US 11W (SR 1) Bridge over Richland Creek at Log Mile 16.2 and 17.8: Motorists should be alert for a lane closures at Log Mile 16.20 (Justice Center Drive) and Log Mile 17.84 (Rocky Branch Rd) for bridge repairs.   Traffic is controlled by temporary traffic signals around the clock through this bridge repair project. Traffic loads in excess of 10 feet in width should follow the signed detour route. Motorists should expect potential delays and use extreme caution while traveling through this area.
 
HAMBLEN COUNTY, SR 343 between Parker Road and SR 32: Motorists should be alert for possible temporary lane closures in this area for resurfacing. Motorists should be alert for workers and equipment present and use extreme caution in this area. 
 
HAMBLEN COUNTY, SR 32/US 25E near I-81 Interchange: Motorists should be alert for possible lane closures and flag persons directing traffic at various times through this project. Short duration traffic stops in both directions may occur daily through this project for utility and equipment crossings. Motorists should be alert for workers present and use extreme caution in this area.
 
HAWKINS COUNTY, SR 31 between US 11W and Adams Lane: Motorists should be alert for possible temporary lane closures in this area for resurfacing. Motorists should be alert for workers and equipment present and use extreme caution in this area. 
 
JOHNSON COUNTY, SR 67 over Doe Creek at Log Mile 5.61: State Route 67 is reduced from two lanes to one around the clock and is being controlled by a temporary traffic signal through this bridge repair project. Traffic loads wider than 12 feet are prohibited through this area and should seek alternate routes. Traffic loads with a weight in excess of 30 tons are prohibited. Dugger Hollow Road at the intersection of State Route 67 is closed and motorists should follow signed detour route. Motorists should be alert for workers present and use caution traveling through this area.
 
JOHNSON COUNTY, SR 67 over Goose Creek at Log Mile 16.78: State Route 67 is reduced from two lanes to one around the clock and is being controlled by a temporary traffic signal through this bridge repair project. Traffic loads wider than 10 feet are prohibited through this area and should seek alternate routes. Motorists should be alert for workers present and use caution traveling through this area.
 
KNOX COUNTY, I-640 West to I-75 North: OnSunday night, September 18, 2011 and Monday night, September 19, 2011, motorists should be alert for a possible temporary lane closure between the hours of 8 p.m. and 5 a.m. the following morning as maintenance crews mill and resurface the roadway in this area. Motorists should be alert for workers present and use caution in this area.
 
KNOX COUNTY, I-75 South Ramp to I-640 West: OnSunday night, September 18, 2011 and Monday night, September 19, 2011,the ramp to I-640 West from I-75 South will be closed to traffic between the hours of 11 p.m. and 5 a.m. the following morning as maintenance crews mill and resurface the roadway in this area. During this closure, motorists on I-75 South wishing to access I-640 West should follow I-275 South to I-40 as a detour. Motorists should be alert for slowed traffic approaching this area and use extreme caution.
 
KNOX COUNTY, I-40 East and West near Mile Marker 370.1: On Sunday night, September 18, 2011 through Tuesday night, September 20, 2011, motorists should be alert for a possible temporary lane closure between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. as crews perform median wall repairs. Motorists should be alert for workers present and use caution in this area.
 
KNOX COUNTY, I-140 near Exit 1: OnMonday night, September 19, 2011 and Tuesday night, September 20, 2011, motorists should be alert for possible temporary lane closures between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. as crews perform overhead sign replacements. Motorists should be alert for workers present and use caution in this area.
 
KNOX COUNTY, I-140 East near Northshore Drive (Exit 5): Motorists should be alert for shoulder closures in this area. Motorists should use caution through this area.
 
KNOX COUNTY, SR 331 Tazewell Pike between Broadway and Baum Lane: Motorists should be alert for temporary lane closures with flag persons directing traffic at various times through this project. Motorists should be alert for workers and equipment present and use caution in this area.
 
KNOX COUNTY, SR 62 (Oak Ridge Hwy. /Western Ave.) between Schaad Road and Copper Kettle Road: Motorists should be alert for temporary lane closures at various times throughout this widening project. Motorists traveling in this area should be alert for workers and equipment present and be alert for changing traffic conditions, detours, traffic shifts and use caution through this area. Hinton Road at Western Avenue and Jimmy Carter Road at Western Avenue and Beaver Ridge Road at Western Avenue are closed for construction. A short section of Ball Camp Pike between Western Avenue and Goldenrod Street is closed for construction. Motorists should be alert for changing conditions and follow signed detour route.

KNOX COUNTY, US 441/SR 71 Norris Freeway between Emory Road and the Anderson County Line: Motorists should be alert for possible temporary lane closures with flag persons directing traffic during daylight hours on weekdays through this resurfacing project. Motorists should be alert for workers and equipment present and use caution in this area.
 
KNOX COUNTY, SR 332 (South Northshore Drive) between Kingston Pike and South Weisgarber Road: Motorists should be alert for lane closures and lane shifts through this KUB utilities project. Motorists should be alert for new traffic patterns, workers present and expect potential delays in this area.
 
KNOX COUNTY, US 441/SR 33 Henley Bridge over Tennessee River in Downtown Knoxville: The Henley Bridge is closed to traffic for bridge rehabilitation. Motorists should follow signed detour route using James White Parkway. For updated project information, go to http://www.tdot.state.tn.us/henley/

KNOX COUNTY, US 441/SR 71 Chapman Highway between Nixon Road and the Blount County Line: Motorists should be alert for nightly lane closures through this resurfacing project on Sunday nights through Thursday nights between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning. Motorists should be alert for workers and equipment present, reduce speeds and use extreme caution through this area.
 
LOUDON COUNTY, I-75 North and South near Mile Marker 74:  Beginning Friday, September 16, 2011, motorists should be alert for a lane closure on I-75 North approaching the bridge over the Tennessee River near Mile Marker 74. This closure will be in place during daylight hours as crews complete bridge deck repairs. The lane closure will switch to the southbound side once the northbound repairs are complete. Motorists should expect potential long delays and use extreme caution approaching and this area.
 
LOUDON COUNTY, SR 72 between the Monroe County Line and Old Vonore Road: Motorists should be alert for possible temporary lane closures in this area for resurfacing. Motorists should be alert for workers and equipment present and use extreme caution in this area. 
 
LOUDON COUNTY, SR 72 between the Prospect Church Road (LM 12.29) and Roane County Line (LM 16.97): Motorists should be alert for possible temporary lane closures in this area for resurfacing. Motorists should be alert for workers and equipment present and use extreme caution in this area
 
LOUDON COUNTY, Unitia Road Bridge over Cloyd Creek at Log Mile 1.72: Unitia Road is closed to thru traffic as crews perform work on this bridge construction project. The signed detour for this closure will utilize US 321 and SR 333. Motorists in this area should be alert for changed conditions, adjust travel times and use caution. This closure is estimated to be in place until Fall 2011.
 
MONROE COUNTY, SR 165 (Cherohola Skyway) between Quarry Creek Road and the North Carolina State Line: Motorists should be alert for possible temporary lane closures daily through this resurfacing project. Motorists should expect potential delays and use extreme caution in this area.

UNION COUNTY, SR 144 East (Ailor Gap Road) near Johnson Road: SR 144 East (Ailor Gap Road) is closed to thru traffic as crews perform bridge construction over the North Fork of Bull Run Creek. Motorists should follow signed detour route utilizing SR 61 and SR 370. Motorists should use extreme caution in this area and adjust travel times accordingly. This project is estimated to be complete on or before September 30, 2011.
UNION COUNTY, Existing SR 33 Bridge over Clinch River (Norris Lake): The existing State Route 33 Bridge over Norris Lake is posted with weight limit restrictions and is being strictly enforced. Weight restrictions are: 5 axle vehicles are 35 tons; 3 or 4 axle vehicle is 22 tons; 2 axle vehicles are 20 tons. VEHICLES WEIGHING IN EXCESS OF THE RESTRICTED WEIGHTS WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO CROSS THE BRIDGE AND MUST FOLLOW A DETOUR ROUTE. Motorists should use extreme caution and be prepared to stop approaching the bridge.
 
UNION COUNTY, SR 33 Bridge Project over Clinch River (Norris Lake): Motorists traveling on State Route 33 crossing the bridge over Norris Lake should be alert for workers present and flag persons directing traffic at various times as equipment enters and exits the roadway through this bridge replacement project. Motorists approaching this area should reduce speeds and use extreme caution through this area.
