Wednesday, January 18, 2012 | 10:39am

Chattanooga, Tenn. – To continue work on the U.S. 27 reconstruction project, TDOT contract crews must disconnect the street lighting on U.S. 27 South within the 1.6 mile project area between the Olgiati Bridge and U.S. 127 (Signal Mtn. Blvd.) The lights will be disconnected either tonight or tomorrow night, and U.S. 27 South will remain without street lighting until new lights are installed and activated during the latter stages of the project, which is scheduled for completion in October 2014.

The street lights on U.S. 27 North will remain operational for the time being.
