  • Thursday January 19 through Wednesday January 25: No closures scheduled.
 
DAVIDSON COUNTY, Repair of 14 Bridges over I-440
  • Thursday January 19 through Wednesday January 25, 9AM-3PM, There will be shoulder closures on I-440 eastbound and westbound for bridge work. 
  • Saturday January 21, 7AM through Sunday January 22, 8AM, The ramp from West End Ave. to I-440 westbound will be closed for ramp repairs. Use Murphy Road for detour.
 
DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 6 from Church Street to SR 155
  • Thursday January 19 through Wednesday January 25, 8PM-5AM, (excluding Saturday), There will be one lane closed in each direction on the Victory Memorial Bridge on James Robertson Pkwy. to install the bumper on the bridge rails.
 
DAVIDSON COUNTY, Central Pike from US 70 to Stoners Creek
  • Thursday January 19 through Wednesday January 25, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on Central Pike from Lebanon Rd to Stoner’s Creek in order to install pipe and perform grading work. Flaggers will be utilized.
 
DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Construction on Gallatin Rd. over the CSX Railroad
  • From now through November 2012, Gallatin Rd. will be reduced to one lane in each direction in this area.
 
RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Widening of Waldron Road (Recovery Act Project)
  • Thursday January 19 through Wednesday January 25: No closures scheduled.
 
WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from SR 248 (Goose Creek) to SR 96
  • Thursday January 19 through Wednesday January 25: No closures scheduled.
 
WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Construction on SR 397 (Mack Hatcher Pkwy.) from south of SR 96 to SR 6
  • Thursday January 19 through Wednesday January 25, 10AM-11AM and 1PM-2PM, There will be lane closures on SR 397 in order for the contractor to blast.
 
 
DAVIDSON/SUMNER COUNTIES, Miscellaneous Safety Improvements
 
SR 386 in Davidson/Sumner Counties
  • Thursday January 19 through Friday January 20, 9AM-3PM, There will be a partial ramp closure on the SR 386 off ramp onto South Conference Drive in order to install extruded panel sign. One lane of the ramp will remain open.
  • Thursday January 19 through Friday January 20, 9AM-3PM, There will be a shoulder closure on SR 386 at the South Conference Drive off ramp in order to install extruded panel sign. All lanes will remain open. 
  • Sunday January 22 through Thursday January 26, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 386 beginning at I-65 in Davidson County to SR 174 (Long Hollow Pike) in order to perform striping and installation of snowplowable markers. One lane will remain open.
 
Local Program Project-Gateway (Korean Veterans) Blvd.
  • From now through December 2012, Traffic on 8th Ave. south and north will be reduced to one lane approaching the Lafayette St. intersection in order to construct roundabout.
 
WILSON COUNTY, SR-171 (Mt Juliet Road) Widening: (Recovery Act Project)
  • Thursday January 19 through Wednesday January 25: No closures scheduled.
 
WILSON & SUMNER COUNTIES, Bridge Construction on SR 109 over the Cumberland River
  • Thursday January 19 through Wednesday January 25, 8PM- 6AM, The northbound lane of SR 109 will be closed in order to pour concrete.
 
TDOT Maintenance:
Middle Tennessee
  • Thursday January 19 through Wednesday January 25, (excluding weekends), 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:
I-24 Cheatham, Davidson, Montgomery and Robertson Counties
I-65 Davidson, Robertson, Williamson Counties
I-40 Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Hickman, Humphreys Counties
 
Davidson County
  • Thursday January 19 and Monday January 23 through Wednesday January 25, 8PM-1AM, The right lane will be closed in both directions on I-440 for shoulder work.  One lane will remain open. 
 
Montgomery & Robertson Counties 
  • Thursday January 19 through Wednesday January 25, (excluding weekends), 9AM-12PM, There will be one lane periodically closed on I-24 in both directions in Robertson and Montgomery Counties to move equipment between mile marker 25 and mile marker 12 in order to trim vegetation overhanging the roadway.  One lane will remain open.   
 
TDOT Bridge Inspections:
Davidson County
  • Monday January 23, 9AM-11AM, There will be one lane closed on I-24 Eastbound at the Siliman Evans Bridge for bridge inspection.
  • Monday January 23 through Wednesday January 25, 8PM-4AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-440 westbound at mile marker 7.0 for bridge repair. One lane will remain open.
 
TDOT Utilities                   
  • Now through Thursday February 16, 7PM-6AM, On 4th Ave. South in Davidson County. This request, by Nashville Electric Service, installation of a duct bank from intersection of 4th Ave. South & McCann Street for approx. 220' & open-cut across 4th Ave. South.
  • Tuesday January 17 through Thursday March 1, 9AM-7PM, On SR-65, Whites Creek Pike, starting 4100’ north of Old Hickory Blvd to Knight Drive in Davidson County. This request, by Garney Construction is to open-cut for installation of 16” water main with service lines renewals.
  • Sunday January 22, 7AM-9:30AM, On I-65 at SR-50, exit 37 in Maury County. This request, by Charter Communications for lashing an additional fiber optic cable on existing strand. Two rolling stop blocks are expected. Four police cars will be present.
