NASHVILLE --- The Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security today announced the consolidation of the Campbell County and Lawrence County Driver Service Centers as part of an overall effort to improve effectiveness and efficiency with the state’s driver license services.

Effective at the close of business on December 28, 2012, the Campbell County driver service center, located at 111 Ellison Road in LaFollette, will merge with the station in Anderson County, located at 704 North Charles G. Seivers Blvd., in Clinton.

Meanwhile, the Lawrence County driver service center, located at 235 East Gaines Street in Lawrenceburg, will merge with the station in Maury County, located at 1701 Hampshire Pike in Columbia. Both facilities in Campbell and Lawrence Counties will cease all operations as of that date.
