NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The Tennessee Department of Tourist Development announces the launch of its newly developed blog, Tennessee TripTales, presenting readers with a fresh take on the inside scoop of Tennessee’s latest news, attractions and events.

The blog site, branded as “Tennessee TripTales: Finely Curated Stories From Across The State,” will feature daily blogs written by professional travel writers who will cover a variety of topics to educate visitors about the state’s sites, events and activities. The bloggers, representing East, Middle and West Tennessee, document authentic Tennessee experiences, including a trip through Cades Cove, prehistoric play in Memphis and trail tours among others.

Each Tennessee TripTales writer brings a myriad of Tennessee perspectives, from adventure to outdoors, from family fun to girlfriend getaways. Bloggers will provide recommendations, reviews, tips, photos and video, giving exposure to Tennessee destinations and, in turn, increasing tourist visitation.

Tennessee TripTales replaces the state’s previous blog initiative, My Tennessee Story.

The Tennessee Department of Tourist Development worked with Tennessee-based digital agency Designsensory for the technical development of Tennessee TripTales. To see the blog, visit www.tnvacation.com/triptales.
