DAVIDSON COUNTY, Repair of 14 Bridges over I-440
  • Thursday April 12 through Wednesday April 18, 9AM-3PM, There will be temporary lane closures on Sharondale and Richardson Rd. bridges in order to perform deck repairs, sidewalk repairs, and expansion joint work.
  • Thursday April 12 through Wednesday April 18, 9AM-3PM, There will be shoulder closures on I-440 westbound at Acklen Dr. for the sawing of access ports at the bridge.
 
DAVIDSON COUNTY, Central Pike from US 70 to Stoners Creek
·         Thursday April 12 through Wednesday April 18, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on Central Pike from Lebanon Rd to Stoner’s Creek in order to perform grading work, install curb and gutter, and paving. Flaggers will be utilized.
 
DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Construction on Gallatin Rd. over the CSX Railroad
  • From now through November 2012, Gallatin Rd. will be reduced to one lane in each direction in this area.
 DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Rehabilitation on I-24 over Main St. and Woodland St.
  • Thursday April 12 through Wednesday April 18, 8PM – 5AM, There will be a temporary lane closures on Main Street and Woodland Street, from South Fifth Street to Interstate Drive, to perform saw cutting.  One lane will remain open.
  • Thursday April 12 through Saturday April 14, 9PM – 5AM, There will be a temporary lane closure on I-24 eastbound from MM 48.1 to MM 48.6 in order to remove existing street lighting on bridges. Two lanes will remain open.
Looking Ahead:
  • Friday April 20, 9PM through Monday April 23, 5AM, I-24 eastbound and westbound will be closed from the I-24/I-65 split north of downtown to the I-24/I-40 split east of downtown to mill existing asphalt surface and set barrier rail. Main Street and Woodland Street, from South Fifth Street to Interstate Drive, will also be closed to perform bridge repairs. Detours will be in place.
DAVIDSON COUNTY, Repair of the I-24 (Silliman Evans) Bridge over Nashville & Eastern Railroad
  • Friday April 13 through Thursday April 19, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-24 eastbound and westbound and Hermitage Ave. to install the containment system.
DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on US 41A (Clarksville Pike) from Briley Pkwy to OHB
  • Thursday April 12 through Wednesday April 18, 9AM-3PM, (excluding Saturday and Sunday), There will be alternating lane closures on Clarksville Pike in order to pave and stripe the roadway. Flaggers will be utilized.
DAVIDSON COUNTY, Miscellaneous Safety Improvements On SR 386 @I-65 in Davidson County to SR 174
  • Thursday April 12 through Tuesday April 17, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 386 beginning at I-65 in Davidson County to SR 174 (Long Hollow Pike) in order to perform striping and installation of snowplowable markers. One lane will remain open.
  • Thursday April 12 through Tuesday April 17, 8PM-6AM, There will be a left lane closure on SR 386 westbound beginning at SR 174 (Long Hollow Pike) to I-65 in Davidson County to in order to texture coat median barrier wall. One lane will remain open.
  • Thursday April 12 through Tuesday April 17, 9AM-3PM, There will be shoulder closures on SR 386 beginning at I-65 in Davidson County to SR 174 (Long Hollow Pike) in order to install permanent signs. All lanes will remain open.
SUMNER COUNTY, Local Programs Project SR 386 and Indian Lake Blvd.
  • Thursday April 12, Friday April 13 and Monday April 16, 8PM – 6AM, There will be temporary lane closures on Vietnam Veterans (SR-386) westbound, from 0.5 miles east of Indian Lake Blvd. to New Shackle Island Road, for the purpose of paving existing inside shoulder, shifting striping to inside shoulder and installing temporary barrier rail and other traffic control devices on outside shoulder. This work is necessary to widen existing on ramp at Indian Lake Blvd.
RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 1 from SR 268 (Thompson Lane) to US 41 (SR 2)
  • Thursday April 12, Friday April 13, and Sunday April 15 through Wednesday April 18, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 1 in order to mill the roadway and install loops. One lane will remain open in each direction.
WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from SR 248 (Goose Creek) to SR 96
  • Thursday April 12 through Wednesday April 18, at 12 Noon, Traffic on I-65 northbound and southbound will be paced in order to blast.
  • Thursday April 12, 8PM-3AM, There will be one lane of I-65 northbound and one lane of the northbound ramp from SR 96 will be closed in order to remove and replace overhead sign structure just north of SR 96. Traffic will be paced two times during this process.
  • Friday April 13, 12 Midnight-5AM, There will be one lane of I-65 southbound and one lane of the southbound ramp to SR 96 closed in order to shift overhead sign and install arrows.
WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Construction on SR 397 (Mack Hatcher Pkwy.) from south of SR 96 to SR 6
  • Thrusday April 12 through Wednesday April 18, 10AM-11AM and 1PM-2PM, (excluding weekends), There will be lane and shoulder (9AM-3PM), closures on SR 397 in order for the contractor to blast.
  • From now through Friday May 4, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekends), The right lane and shoulder of SR 96 from Buckingham Circle to Sugartree Lane will be closed for utility work.
DAVIDSON/SUMNER COUNTIES, Miscellaneous Safety Improvements
Local Program Project-Gateway (Korean Veterans) Blvd.
  • From now through December 2012, Traffic on 8th Ave. south and north will be reduced to one lane approaching the Lafayette St. intersection in order to construct roundabout.
WILSON COUNTY, SR-171 (Mt Juliet Road) Widening:(Recovery Act Project)
  • Thursday April 12 through Wednesday April 18, 9AM–3PM, There will be temporary lane closures on Mt. Juliet Road (SR-171) northbound and southbound, from Division Street to Lebanon Rd. for installation of signal equipment. 
WILSON COUNTY, Resurfacing I-40 from East of SR 840 to East of US 70
  • Thursday April 12 through Wednesday April 18, 8PM-5AM,(excluding weekends), There will be one right lane and the outside shoulder closed of I-40 westbound (MM 238-235) and I-40 eastbound (MM 235-239) in order to mill the roadway. One lane will remain open.
  • Friday April 13, 8PM through Monday April 16, 5AM, There will be one lane and shoulder of I-40 eastbound and westbound closed at exit 239 in order to perform bridge deck work. One lane will remain open in each direction.
  • Saturday April 14, 5AM through Sunday April 15, 6AM, The exit ramp at MM 239 eastbound will be closed for concrete repairs.
WILSON & SUMNER COUNTIES, Bridge Construction on SR 109 over the Cumberland River
  • Thursday April 12 through Wednesday April 18, 8PM- 6AM, The northbound lane of SR 109 will be closed in order to pour concrete.
GILES COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-65 from the Alabama State Line to US 64
  • Friday April 13, 8PM through Monday April 16, 5AM, There will be one lane closed on I-65 southbound and northbound MM 5.5-6.5 and MM 12-13 for bridge repairs at the SR 273 overpass and on the Bunker Hill overpass. One lane will remain open in each direction.

  • Thursday April 12 through Wednesday April 18, (excluding weekends), 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:

I-40 Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Hickman, Humphreys Counties
 
Davidson County 
  • Thursday April 12, 8PM-1AM, The right lane will be closed at the I-40/I-24 split westbound between mile marker 213 (Arlington Ave.) and mile marker 212 (Fesslers Lane) for milling, paving, ditch cleaning and brush removal. Three lanes will remain open.  
Cheatham, Montgomery, Robertson and Sumner Counties
  • Thursday April 12 through Wednesday April 18, (excluding weekends), 9AM-3PM, There will be periodic lane closures in each direction on I-24 from the 0 mile marker to the 32 mile marker in (Cheatham, Montgomery and Robertson Counties) and on I-65 from the 97.71 mile marker to the 121.47 mile marker in (Robertson and Sumner Counties) in order to spray guardrails for vegetation control. (This will be a moving operation.)  
Montgomery & Robertson Counties 
  • Thursday April 12 through Wednesday April 18, (excluding weekends), 9AM-12PM, There will be one lane periodically closed on I-24 in both directions in Robertson and Montgomery Counties to move equipment between mile marker 25 and mile marker 12 in order to trim vegetation overhanging the roadway.  One lane will remain open. 
Smith County
  • Thursday April 12 or Monday April 16, 9AM-3PM, There will be an emergency one lane closure on State Route 25 northbound just north of State Route 24 in Carthage, TN.  Equipment will be loaded on to a barge from the river bridge for 3-4 hours once closure is installed.  One lane will remain open.
 
Williamson County
  • Tuesday April 17, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-65 southbound between mile marker 66 (McEwen Bridge) and mile marker 65 for milling and paving. Two lanes will remain open.  
TDOT Utilities
  • From now through Thursday May 31, 7PM to 6AM, On Dickerson Rd. (SR 11) starting at E. Trinity Lane ending at Hart Lane in Davidson County. This request by Piedmont Gas to insert a 2” gas line into an existing 4” main all roadway cuts will be on the east side of Dickerson Road.
  • Sunday April 15, 6AM-4PM, On I-40 near Lafayette Street overpass bridge in Davidson County. This request by Nashville Electric Service for transferring eight conductors from an existing pole to a new pole eight rolling stop blocks are expected with ten police cars and Flag Pros will provide flagging and signage as required.
