Press Conference Scheduled at 2 p.m. Today to Update Public on Decatur Blaze That Killed Fire Chief Kenny Fox

NASHVILLE- A press conference will be held today at 2 p.m. at the Decatur County Sheriff’s Department to update the public on the restaurant fire near Parsons that killed Fire Chief Kenny Fox and injured two other firefighters.
 
The volunteer firefighting unit responded to the April 7 fire at the Oak Hill Café Bar and Grill. Fox died in the fire, and fellow firefighters and brothers Jeremy and Randy Inman were injured.
 
The cause of the fire is being investigated by the Tennessee Fire Marshal’s Office’s Bomb and Arson Section and other agencies. The Bomb and Arson section provides material and technical assistance to jurisdictions who request its expertise in investigating fires across the state.
