SR 76 Traffic Shift Will Require Short Term Closure of Industrial Drive in Gibson County

Monday, April 16, 2012 | 09:33am
Jackson, Tenn. – Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) contract crews will close Industrial Drive in Milan, Tennessee beginning April 20, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. Industrial Drive is expected to reopen to traffic on April 23, 2012 at 6:00 a.m.

During the closure, crews will shift traffic onto four miles of newly constructed travel lanes on the $32.2 million project. This shift will cause a short term closure of Industrial Drive while crews build a temporary driveway.

Motorists are asked to plan ahead and seek alternate routes around the closure. Portable message boards will be placed throughout the area to assist motorists. SR 104 is the preferred alternate route.
