DAVIDSON COUNTY, Repair of 14 Bridges over I-440
  • Thursday April 26 and Friday April 27, 9AM-3PM, There will be temporary lane closures on Sharondale and Richardson bridges while they are doing bridge deck repairs, sidewalk repair and expansion repairs.
  • Friday April 27 through Wednesday May 2, 9AM-3PM, There will be temporary lane closures on Woodlawn bridge while they are doing bridge deck repairs, sidewalk repair and expansion repairs.
  • Monday April 30 through Wednesday May 2, 9AM-3PM, There will be inside shoulder closures on I-440 between Acklen Drive and West End for the removal of debris from the inside of the access ports at the bridge.
DAVIDSON COUNTY, Central Pike from US 70 to Stoners Creek
  • Thursday April 26 through Wednesday May 2, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on Central Pike from Lebanon Rd to Stoner’s Creek in order to perform grading work, install curb and gutter, and paving. Flaggers will be utilized.
DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Construction on Gallatin Rd. over the CSX Railroad
  • From now through November 2012, Gallatin Rd. will be reduced to one lane in each direction in this area.
DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Rehabilitation on I-24 over Main St. and Woodland St.
  • Thursday April 26 through Wednesday May 2, 8PM – 5AM, There will be a temporary lane closures on Main Street and Woodland Street, from South Fifth Street to Interstate Drive, to perform saw cutting.  One lane will remain open.
  • Thursday April 26 through Saturday April 28 and Monday April 30 through Wednesday May 2, 9PM – 5AM. Two right lanes will be closed on I-24 eastbound from MM 48.0 to MM 48.6 in order to remove overhangs on bridges. One lane will remain open.
DAVIDSON COUNTY, Repair of the I-24 (Silliman Evans) Bridge over Nashville & Eastern Railroad
  • Thursday April 26 and Saturday April 28 through Tuesday May 1, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on Hermitage Ave. for painting operations.
  • Thursday April 26 and Saturday April 28 through Tuesday May 1, 8PM- 6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-24 eastbound to remove the containment system.
DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Repair on Lebanon Rd. over Browns Creek
  • Thursday April 26 through May 1, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures in order to stripe the roadway for the lane use signal relocation.
  • Wednesday May 2, 7PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on Lebanon Rd. in order to stripe the roadway and shift traffic.
DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on US 41A (Clarksville Pike) from Briley Pkwy to OHB
  • Saturday April 28, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating shoulder closures on Clarksville Pike in order to install signs. 
DAVIDSON COUNTY, Miscellaneous Safety Improvements On SR 386 @I-65 in Davidson County to SR 174
  • Thursday April 26 through Tuesday May 1, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 386 beginning at I-65 in Davidson County to SR 174 (Long Hollow Pike) in order to perform the installation of guardrail and guardrail delineation enhancement. One lane will remain open.
  • Thursday April 26 through Tuesday May 1, 8PM-6AM, There will be a left lane closure on SR 386 eastbound beginning at I-65 in Davidson County to SR 174 (Long Hollow Pike) in order to texture coat median barrier wall. One lane will remain open.
  • Thursday April 26 through Tuesday May 1, 8PM-6AM, There will be a left lane closure on SR 386 westbound beginning at SR 174 (Long Hollow Pike) to I-65 in Davidson County to in order to texture coat median barrier wall. One lane will remain open.
  • Thursday April 26 through Tuesday May 1, 9AM-3PM, There will be shoulder closures on SR 386 beginning at I-65 in Davidson County to SR 174 (Long Hollow Pike) in order to install permanent signs. All lanes will remain open.
MIDDLE TENNESSEE, Miscellaneous Safety Improvements
  • Monday April 30 through Tuesday May 1, 8PM-5AM, Traffic will be shifted on the I-40 WB Ramp to SR840 at LM 10.8 to 10.93 in Wilson County to apply a friction course. One ramp lane will remain open.
MIDDLE TENNESSEE, On-call concrete repair
  • Thursday April 26 through Wednesday May 3, 6AM-8PM, Traffic on the ramps at exit 31(New Hope Rd.) on I-24 eastbound and westbound in Cheatham County will be shifted in order to perform concrete repairs. One ramp lane will remain open.
RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 1 from SR 268 (Thompson Lane) to US 41 (SR 2)
  • Thursday April 26 through Wednesday May 2, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 1 in order to pave the roadway and install loops. One lane will remain open in each direction.
WILLIAMSON AND CHEATHAM COUNTIES, Resurfacing and Bridge Repair on I-40
  • Wednesday May 2, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 eastbound and westbound on the Harpeth River Bridge (near MM 190.0) in order to determine repair areas of the bridge.

  • Friday May 4, 8PM through Monday May 7, 5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 eastbound and westbound on the Harpeth River Bridge (near MM 190.0) in order to perform bridge repair
WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from SR 248 (Goose Creek) to SR 96
  • Thursday April 26 through Wednesday May 2, at 12 Noon, (excluding weekends), Traffic on I-65 northbound and southbound will be paced in order to blast.
WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Construction on SR 397 (Mack Hatcher Pkwy.) from south of SR 96 to SR 6
  • Thursday April 26 through Wednesday May 2, 10AM-11AM and 1PM-2PM, (excluding weekends), There will be lane and shoulder (9AM-3PM), closures on SR 397 in order for the contractor to blast.
  • From now through Friday May 4, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekends), The right lane and shoulder of SR 96 from Buckingham Circle to Sugartree Lane will be closed for utility work.
DAVIDSON/SUMNER COUNTIES, Miscellaneous Safety Improvements
Local Program Project-Gateway (Korean Veterans) Blvd.
  • From now through December 2012, Traffic on 8th Ave. south and north will be reduced to one lane approaching the Lafayette St. intersection in order to construct roundabout.
WILSON COUNTY, SR-171 (Mt Juliet Road) Widening:(Recovery Act Project)
  • Thursday April 26 through Wednesday May 2, 9AM–3PM, There will be temporary lane closures on Mt. Juliet Road (SR-171) northbound and southbound, from Division Street to Lebanon Rd. for installation of signal equipment and paving of driveways and side roads. 
WILSON COUNTY, Resurfacing I-40 from East of SR 840 to East of US 70
  • Thursday April 26 through Wednesday May 2, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lanes closed of I-40 westbound (MM 239-235) and I-40 eastbound (MM 235-239) in order to mill the roadway. One lane will remain open.
  • Friday April 27, 8PM through Monday April 30, 5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 eastbound and westbound near MM 235.0 for bridge repair work. One lane will remain open in each direction.
WILSON & SUMNER COUNTIES, Bridge Construction on SR 109 over the Cumberland River
  • Thursday April 26 through Wednesday May 2, 8PM- 6AM, The northbound lane of SR 109 will be closed in order to pour concrete.
GILES COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-65 from the Alabama State Line to US 64
  • Friday April 27, 8PM through Monday April 30, 6AM, There will be one lane closed on I-65 southbound between MM 2.5 and MM 3.5 for bridge repair work on the Elk River Bridge.
Resurfacing on I-24 from West of Baker Rd Bridge to West of SR 840
  • Thursday April 26 through Wednesday May 2, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-24 in order to install snowplowable markers and mill the roadway.  One lane will remain open in each direction.

  • Thursday April 26 through Wednesday May 2, (excluding weekends), 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:

Davidson County 
  • Monday April 30 through Wednesday May 2, 8PM-2AM, The right lane will be closed on I-40 eastbound between mile marker 212 and mile marker 219 for ditch cleaning and brush removal. Three lanes will remain open.  
  • Tuesday May 1, 9PM-5AM, The two right lanes will be closed on I-24 eastbound between mile marker 53 and mile marker 55 for milling and paving. Two lanes will remain open.  
  • Thursday April 26, 8PM-2AM, At the I-24/I-40 split at Arlington Avenue the left lane will be closed on I-40 and the right lane will be closed on I-24 for milling and paving. One lane will remain open on both.  
Cheatham, Montgomery, Robertson and Sumner Counties
  • Thursday April 26 through Wednesday May 2, (excluding weekends), 9AM-3PM, There will be periodic lane closures in each direction on I-24 from the 0 mile marker to the 32 mile marker in (Cheatham, Montgomery and Robertson Counties) and on I-65 from the 97.71 mile marker to the 121.47 mile marker in (Robertson and Sumner Counties) in order to spray guardrails for vegetation control. (This will be a moving operation.) 
Humphreys County
  • Tuesday May 1, 6PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 westbound between mile marker 140 and mile marker 142 for milling and paving at the Buffalo River Bridge. One lane will remain open.  
Montgomery & Robertson Counties 
  • Thursday April 26 through Wednesday May 2, (excluding weekends), 9AM-12PM, There will be one lane periodically closed on I-24 in both directions in Robertson and Montgomery Counties to move equipment between mile marker 25 and mile marker 12 in order to trim vegetation overhanging the roadway.  One lane will remain open.  
Williamson County
  • Thursday April 26, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-65 southbound between mile marker 66 (McEwen Bridge) and mile marker 65 for milling and paving. Two lanes will remain open.  
TDOT Utilities
  • From now through Thursday May 31, 7PM to 6AM, On Dickerson Rd. (SR 11) starting at E. Trinity Lane ending at Hart Lane in Davidson County. This request by Piedmont Gas to insert a 2” gas line into an existing 4” main all roadway cuts will be on the east side of Dickerson Road.
  • Thursday April 26 through Friday 27, 9AM-3PM, At 1120 Murfreesboro Pike SR-1 at Boxwood Court in Davidson County. This request, from Nashville Electric Service the replacement of two poles in conjunction with the installation of fiber optic cable for NES substation communications.
  • Wednesday April 25 and Thursday April 26, 9AM-3PM, and 7PM-6AM, For a underground crossing of I-40 at the intersection with Lafayette Street in Davidson County. (Closures will be on Lafayette St.) This request, by Kane Konnections for temporary lane closures when needed.
  • Wednesday April 25 and Thursday April 26, 7PM-6AM, At 4644 Old Hickory Blvd SR-45 approx. 830’ South of Hills Lane in Davidson County. This request by Precision Plumbing Co. for a 1” water line service tap.
