NASHVILLE – First Lady Crissy Haslam will promote the importance of parent engagement and early literacy at Tennessee Department of Education’s Reaching Higher in Tennessee: Economics of Education Summit on Wednesday in Cookeville. The Summit will focus on best practice collaborative efforts between school districts, business partners, and higher education institutions from across the state to actively promote and support K-12 education.
