Second Lane On I-75 North In Campbell County To Reopen Monday Morning; I-75 South To Close Temporarily Sunday Evening

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – On Sunday, June 3 at 8 p.m., I-75 South in Campbell County will temporarily close so that crews can prepare for a traffic shift, which will restore I-75 North to full capacity.

One lane of traffic on I-75 South and two lanes of traffic on I-75 North are anticipated to reopen by Monday, June 4 at 8 a.m., weather permitting.

Southbound motorists will be diverted off the interstate at Exit 160 (Jellico).

Motorists can turn left to follow US 25W to LaFollette, then back to I-75 South at Exit 134 in Caryville.  They can also turn right and follow State Route 297 West, to State Route 63, then back to I-75 South at Exit 141.

Motorists should use extreme caution traveling through this area.
