DAVIDSON COUNTY, Repair of 14 Bridges over I-440

  • Thursday June 28 and Friday June 28, 9AM-3PM, There will be lane closures on Murphy Rd. to perform joint repairs.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Construction on Gallatin Rd. over the CSX Railroad

  • From now through November 2012, Gallatin Rd. will be reduced to one lane in each direction in this area.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Rehabilitation on I-24 over Main St. and Woodland St.

  • Thursday June 28 and Monday July 2, 8PM–5AM, and 9AM-3PM, There will be a temporary lane closures on Main Street and Woodland Street, from South Fifth Street to Interstate Drive to perform bridge repairs and install falsework. (temporary equipment towers)  One lane will remain open.
  • Friday June 29, 9PM through Monday July 2, 5AM, I-24 eastbound and westbound will be closed from the I-24/I-40 split east of downtown to remove existing bridge deck and install bridge deck panels.  Main St. and Woodland St., from South Fifth St. to Interstate Drive will also be closed.  Detours will be in place.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Repair of the I-24 (Silliman Evans) Bridge over Nashville & Eastern Railroad

  • Thursday June 28 through Monday July 2, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on Hermitage Ave. for painting operations.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 155 (Briley Pkwy.) from Mashburn Rd. to Glaston Rd.

  • Thursday June 28 through Monday July 2, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on Briley Pkwy. in both directions in order to install rumble strips and permanent striping.
  • Thursday June 28 through Monday July 2, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures in both directions on Donelson Pike between I-40 and Murfreesboro Rd. for rumble strips and striping operations.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Construction on Dickerson Road over Dry Creek

  • Beginning Monday July 9, 2012 through April 2013, Dickerson Rd. will be reduced to one lane in each direction from Dry Creek Rd. to Robert Cartwright Dr. in Goodlettsville (LM 22.09).

Resurfacing on I-40 from Dickson Co. Line to Williamson Co. Line to Cheatham Co. Line to Davidson Co. Line

  • Thursday June 28 through Monday July 2, 8PM-6AM, (excluding Saturday), There will be alternating lane closures in both directions on I-40 in order to pave.

MIDDLE TENNESSEE, Pavement Sealing on Various Interstates

  • Thursday June 28 and Friday June 29, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 eastbound beginning in Wilson County to Old Hickory Blvd. in order to perform joint work. Two lanes will remain open.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Construction on SR 397 (Mack Hatcher Pkwy.) from south of SR 96 to SR 6

  • Thursday June 28 through Monday July 2, 9AM-3PM, and Tuesday July 2, 9AM- 12 Noon, (excluding weekends), There will be alternating lane and shoulder closures of SR 96 from Buckingham Circle to Jordan Lane for utility work.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from SR 248 to SR 96

  • Thursday June 28 through Monday July 2, at 12 Noon, (excluding weekend), Traffic on I-65 northbound and southbound will be paced in order to blast.
  • Thursday June 28, 8PM-5AM, The right lane of I-65 northbound from MM 63.0 to SR 96 will be closed in order to place concrete on the bridge deck and stripe on SR 96 off-ramp.  There will also be alternating lane closures on I-65 southbound at SR 96 off-ramp for striping and traffic switch on ramp.

DAVIDSON/SUMNER COUNTIES, Miscellaneous Safety Improvements

Local Program Project-Gateway (Korean Veterans) Blvd.

  • From now through December 2012, Traffic on 8th Ave. south and north will be reduced to one lane approaching the Lafayette St. intersection in order to construct roundabout.

SUMNER COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 258 from SR 386 to New Hope Rd.

  • Thursday June 28 through Monday July 2, 9AM-3PM, and Tuesday July 3, 9AM- 12 Noon, (excluding weekends), There will be alternating lane closures on SR 258 for installation of rumble strips.

WILSON & SUMNER COUNTIES, Bridge Construction on SR 109 over the Cumberland River

  • Thursday June 28 through Monday July 2, 8PM- 6AM, The northbound lane of SR 109 will be closed in order to pour concrete or southbound for roadway construction.

GILES COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-65 from the Alabama State Line to US 64

  • Thursday June 28 through Monday July 2, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-65 northbound and southbound between MM 0.0 and MM 14.0 in order to mill, pave, and install guardrail.  One lane will remain open.

  • Thursday June 28 through Monday July 2, 9AM-3PM, and Tuesday July 3, 9AM-12PM, (excluding weekends), There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:

Cheatham County 

  • Thursday June 28 through Monday July 2, 9AM-3PM and Tuesday July 3, 9AM-12PM, (excluding weekends),There will be alternating lane closures on State Route 12 in both directions in order to mill, pave, and stripe the roadway between mile marker 2 and mile marker 3.  One lane will remain open.  
  • Thursday June 28 through Monday July 2, 9AM-3PM and Tuesday July 3, 9AM-12PM, (excluding weekends),There will be alternating lane closures on State Route 49 in both directions in order to mill, pave, and stripe the roadway between mile marker 9 and mile marker 10.  One lane will remain open. 

Davidson County 

  • Thursday June 28 and Monday July 2, 9AM-3PM, and 8PM-5AM, There will be mobile operations in various locations in Davidson County for Drain Cleaning Operations.  This will affect the shoulders or inside and outside lanes.
  • Thursday June 28 through Monday July 2, (excluding weekends), 8PM-1AM, There will be alternating right lane closures on I-65 in both directions between mile marker 94 and mile marker 90 for rock removal.  Three lanes will remain open. 


Dickson, Hickman and Humphreys County 

  • Thursday June 28 through Monday July 2, (excluding weekends), 6PM-10PM, There will be alternating lane closures in various locations on I-40 in both directions in Dickson, Hickman, and Humphreys Counties to clean bridges and slope mow.  One lane will remain open.  

Montgomery & Robertson Counties 

  • Thursday June 28 through noon on Tuesday July 3, (excluding weekends), 9AM-12PM, There will be one lane periodically closed on I-24 in both directions in Robertson and Montgomery Counties to move equipment between mile marker 18 and mile marker 12 in order to trim vegetation overhanging the roadway.  One lane will remain open.   

 

Robertson County 

  • Thursday June 28 through Monday July 2, 9AM-3PM and Tuesday July 3, 9AM-12PM, (excluding weekends),There will be alternating lane closures on State Route 65 (U.S. 431) in both directions in order to mill, pave, and stripe the roadway between mile marker 0.1 and mile marker 1.1  and also between mile marker 6.5 to mile marker 7.5.  One lane will remain open.   

 

Sumner County

  • Thursday June 28, 8PM-4AM, There will be alternating lane closures on State Route 109 in both directions between mile markers 0 to mile marker 1.6 for vegetation removal.  One lane will remain open.   

 TDOT Bridge Inspection

Davidson County 

  • Thursday June 28, 8PM-3AM, The right lane and exit-ramp will be closed on I-40 westbound over 40th Avenue at mile marker 205.0 for bridge repair.  The two inside lanes will remain open.   

TDOT Utilities

  • From now through Wednesday August 1, 9AM-3PM, Along SR-24 Charlotte Pike from Hwy 70S. to 7670 Charlotte Pike in Davidson County. This request by Nashville Electric Service for replacement of 61 poles and 50 anchors.
