CHEATHAM COUNTY, Bridge Rehabilitation on SR 12 over Sycamore Creek

  • Monday July 16 and Tuesday July 17, 9AM-3PM, The road will be closed for 20-30 minutes approximately 6 times per day to set bridge beams.


DAVIDSON COUNTY, Repair of 14 Bridges over I-440

  • Thursday July 12 through Wednesday July 18, 9AM-3PM, There will be lane closures on Foster and Brightwood Bridges over I-440 for bridge expansion joint work.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Construction on Gallatin Rd. over the CSX Railroad

  • From now through November 2012, Gallatin Rd. will be reduced to one lane in each direction in this area.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Rehabilitation on I-24 over Main St. and Woodland St.

  • Thursday July 12 and Monday July 16 through Wednesday July 18, 8PM–5AM, There will be a temporary lane closures on Main Street and Woodland Street, from South Fifth Street to Interstate Drive to perform bridge repairs.  One lane will remain open.
  • Friday July 13, 9PM through Monday July 16, 5AM, I-24 eastbound and westbound will be closed from the I-24/I-40 split east of downtown to remove existing bridge deck and install bridge deck panels.  Main St. and Woodland St., from South Fifth St. to Interstate Drive will also be closed.  Detours will be in place.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Repair of the I-24 (Silliman Evans) Bridge over Nashville & Eastern Railroad

  • Thursday July 12 through Wednesday July 18, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on Hermitage Ave. for painting operations.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Construction on Dickerson Rd. over Dry Creek

  • From now through April 2013, Dickerson Rd. will be reduced to one lane in each direction from Dry Creek Rd. to Robert Cartwright Dr. in Goodlettsville (LM 22.09).

Resurfacing on I-40 from Dickson Co. Line to Williamson Co. Line to Cheatham Co. Line to Davidson Co. Line

  • Thursday July 12 through Wednesday July 18, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures in both directions on I-40 in order to pave.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on Old Hickory Blvd. from US 431 to US 31/W/41

  • Thursday July 12 through Wednesday July 18, 9AM-3PM, (excluding Sunday), There will be alternating lane closures on Old Hickory Blvd. from Whites Creek Pike to Dickerson Rd. for milling operations. Flaggers will be utilized.

DAVIDSON/SUMNER COUNTIES, Bridge Construction on US 41 (Dickerson Pike) over Mansker Creek

  • Friday July 13, 8PM through Monday July 16, 6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on Dickerson Rd. at the Mansker Creek Bridge in order to prepare for a traffic shift.  One lane will remain open in each direction.

MAURY COUNTY, Bridge Construction on SR 50 over I-65

  • From now through June 2013, SR 50 will be reduced to one lane in this area due to repair of the bridge.  Signalization will in place.


LAWRENCE COUNTY, Lawrenceburg West Bypass US 64

  • Tuesday July 17 and Wednesday July 18, 8AM-8PM, There will be one lane closed in each direction on SR 6 (US 43) in order to set beams on the proposed SR 15 (US 64) overpass bridge.  One lane will remain open in each direction.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 397 (Mack Hatcher Pkwy.) from US 31 to US 431

  • Thursday July 12 through Wednesday July 18, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on Mack Hatcher Pkwy. in order to mill and pave roadway.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from SR 248 to SR 96

  • Thursday July 12 or Tuesday July 17, 8PM-5AM, The right lane of I-65 northbound will be closed in order to pour concrete on the Harpeth River Bridge.
  • Friday July 13 or Saturday July 14, 8PM-4AM, The left lane of I-65 northbound and southbound will be closed in order to install 3 overhead sign structures.

DAVIDSON/SUMNER COUNTIES, Miscellaneous Safety Improvements

Local Program Project-Gateway (Korean Veterans) Blvd.

  • From now through December 2012, Traffic on 8th Ave. south and north will be reduced to one lane approaching the Lafayette St. intersection in order to construct roundabout.

WILSON & SUMNER COUNTIES, Bridge Construction on SR 109 over the Cumberland River

  • Thursday July 12 through Wednesday July 18, 8PM- 6AM, The northbound lane of SR 109 will be closed in order to pour concrete or southbound for roadway construction.

GILES COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-65 from the Alabama State Line to US 64

  • Thursday July 12 through Wednesday July 18, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-65 northbound and southbound between MM 0.0 and MM 14.0 in order to pave, and install guardrail.  One lane will remain open.

  • Thursday July 12 through Wednesday July 18, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekends), There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:

Cheatham County 

  • Thursday July 12 through Wednesday July 18, (excluding weekends), 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on State Route 12 in both directions in order to mill, pave, and stripe the roadway between mile marker 2 and mile marker 3.  One lane will remain open.  
  • Thursday July 12 through Wednesday July 18, (excluding weekends), 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on State Route 249 in both directions in order to mill, pave, and stripe the roadway between mile marker 0 and mile marker 0.5.  One lane will remain open.

Davidson County 

  • Thursday July 12 through Wednesday July 18, (excluding weekends), 8PM-1AM, There will be alternating right lane closures on I-65 in both directions between mile marker 94 and mile marker 90 for rock removal.  Three lanes will remain open. 
  • Thursday July 12, 8PM-1AM, There will be a right lane closures on I-65 northbound at the I-40 WB spilt just before the 12th Avenue overpass, for milling and paving.  One Lane will remain open coming from I-65 northbound and two lanes on I-40 westbound. 
  • Tuesday July 17, 8PM-1AM, The right lane will be closed on I-40 eastbound at mile marker 210 (I-40/I-65 split) for milling and paving.  The left lane will remain open.   

 Dickson, Hickman and Humphreys County 

  • Thursday July 12 through Wednesday July 18, (excluding weekends), 6PM-10PM, There will be alternating lane closures in various locations on I-40 in both directions in Dickson, Hickman, and Humphreys Counties to clean bridges and slope mow.  One lane will remain open.  

Houston County 

  • Thursday July 12 through Wednesday July 18, (excluding weekends), 9AM-3PM, There will be temporary lane closures for paving over replaced culverts in Houston County at the following locations:

 

  • State Route 13----- 1.0 Mile Marker to 5.0 Mile Marker
  • State Route 46------2.0 Mile Marker to 3.0 Mile Marker
  • 5.5 Mile Marker to 6.5 Mile Marker
  • 7.0 Mile Marker to 8.0 Mile Marker

Montgomery & Robertson Counties 

  • Thursday July 12 through Wednesday July 18, (excluding weekends), 9AM-12PM, There will be one lane periodically closed on I-24 in both directions in Robertson and Montgomery Counties to move equipment between mile marker 18 and mile marker 12 in order to trim vegetation overhanging the roadway.  One lane will remain open.   

 

Montgomery County

  • Thursday July 12 through Wednesday July 18, (excluding weekends), 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on State Route 374 in both directions in order to mill, pave, and stripe the roadway between mile marker 0 and mile marker 0.8.  One lane will remain open.  

 

Robertson County 

  • Thursday July 12 through Wednesday July 18, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekends),There will be alternating lane closures on State Route 65 (U.S. 431) in both directions in order to mill, pave, and stripe the roadway between mile marker 6.0 to mile marker 7.5.  One lane will remain open.

Davidson County 

  • Thursday July 12, 8PM-4AM, The right lane will be closed on I-65 northbound at mile marker 95.8 (Two Mile Pkwy./Goodlettsville), for bridge deck repair.  Two lanes will remain open.
  • Wednesday July 18, 8PM-12AM, The two right lanes will be closed on I-65 northbound at mile marker 95.8 (Two Mile Pkwy./Goodlettsville), for bridge deck inspection.  Two lanes will remain open.

 Davidson County  -- Looking ahead….

  • Thursday July 19, 8PM-12AM, The two left lanes will be closed on I-65 northbound at mile marker 95.8 (Two Mile Pkwy./Goodlettsville), for bridge deck inspection.  The right lane and exit ramp will remain open.

Rutherford County 

  • Tuesday July 17, 9AM-3PM, There will be mobile lane closures in both directions on I-24 between mile marker 63.1 and mile marker 81.2 for bridge inspection.  Two lanes will remain open.

Stewart County 

  • Tuesday July 17, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures in both directions on State Route 76 at mile marker 13.3 (on the Cumberland River Bridge), for bridge inspection.  One lane will remain open.

 TDOT Utilities

  • From now through Wednesday August 1, 9AM-3PM, Along SR-24 Charlotte Pike from Hwy 70S. to 7670 Charlotte Pike in Davidson County. This request by Nashville Electric Service for replacement of 61 poles and 50 anchors.
  • From now through Thursday October 4, 7PM-6AM, On SR-258 on New Shackle Island Road from Volunteer Dr. to Iris Dr. in Summer County .This request by Hendersonville U.D. to open-cut into the roadway for the installation of approx. 3800’ of 16” water main. Proper lane closures signs and detours will be setup.
  • Sunday July 15 through Thursday July 19, 7PM-6AM, At 4225 Harding Pike in Davidson County. This request, by IS Engineering Utility Co. for a fire line tap for Wellington Arms.
  • Monday July 16 through Wednesday July 18, 7PM-6AM, on SR-24, Charlotte Ave. and White Bridge Road Interchange in Davidson County. This by, Piedmont Natural Gas for corrosion testing for a gas main under the roadway.

TDOT Consulting

  • Thursday July 12, 9AM-4PM, There will be alternating lane closures on US 31W in Sumner County from SR 109 to Lake Springs Rd. in order to drill borings in the roadway to obtain geotechnical data.  Flaggers will be utilized.
