DAVIDSON COUNTY, Box Bridge on Battery Lane over West Fork Browns Creek

  • From now through Sunday July 29th -- Battery Lane will be closed in order to install utility boxes.  Detours will be in place.


DAVIDSON COUNTY, Repair of 14 Bridges over I-440

  • Thursday July 26 through Wednesday August 1, 9AM-3PM, There will be lane closures on Foster and Brightwood Bridges over I-440 for bridge expansion joint work.  There will also be shoulder closures on I-440 eastbound and westbound from I-40 to Nolensville Rd. for cleanup.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Construction on Gallatin Rd. over the CSX Railroad

  • From now through November 2012, Gallatin Rd. will be reduced to one lane in each direction in this area.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Rehabilitation on I-24 over Main St. and Woodland St.

  • Thursday July 26 and Monday July 30 through Tuesday July 31, 8PM–5AM, There will be a temporary lane closures on Main Street and Woodland Street, from South Fifth Street to Interstate Drive to perform bridge repairs.  One lane will remain open.
  • Friday July 27, 9PM through Monday July 30, 5AM, I-24 eastbound and westbound will be closed from the I-24/I-40 split east of downtown to remove existing bridge deck and install bridge deck panels.  Main St. and Woodland St., from South Fifth St. to Interstate Drive will also be closed.  Detours will be in place.
  • Monday July 30 through Tuesday July 31, 9PM–5AM, The right lane of I-24 westbound will be temporarily closed from MM 50.0 to MM 48.2 in order to pour overhang on bridges.  Two lanes will remain open.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Repair of the I-24 (Silliman Evans) Bridge over Nashville & Eastern Railroad

  • Thursday July 26 through Wednesday August 1, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on Hermitage Ave. for painting operations.
  • Monday July 30 through Wednesday August 1, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-24 eastbound and westbound for painting operations.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Construction on Dickerson Rd. over Dry Creek

  • From now through April 2013, Dickerson Rd. will be reduced to one lane in each direction from Dry Creek Rd. to Robert Cartwright Dr. in Goodlettsville (LM 22.09).

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Repair on Lebanon Road over Browns Creek

  • Wednesday August 1 and Thursday August 2, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on Lebanon Rd. in order to pour the bridge deck.  Flaggers will be utilized.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on Old Hickory Blvd. from US 431 to US 31/W/41

  • Thursday July 26 through Wednesday August 1, 9AM-3PM, (excluding Sunday), There will be alternating lane closures on Old Hickory Blvd. from Whites Creek Pike to Dickerson Rd. in order to pave, install handicap ramps and install guardrail. Flaggers will be utilized.

 
DAVIDSON COUNTY, Phase III of ITS

  • Wednesday July 25 through Friday July 27, 9AM-3PM, There will be periodic day time shoulder closures at the following location to reinstall damaged pole foundations. 

 

  • I-24, Westbound, at Harding Place (MM 56)
  • Briley Pkwy, Northbound, between Opry Mills Drive and McGavock Pike (MM 11 to MM 12)
  • I-65, Northbound, between Old Hickory Blvd and Harding Place (MM 74 to MM 77)

MAURY COUNTY, Bridge Construction on SR 50 over I-65

  • From now through June 2013, SR 50 will be reduced to one lane in this area due to repair of the bridge.  Signalization will in place.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 397 (Mack Hatcher Pkwy.) from US 31 to US 431

  • Thursday July 26 through Tuesday July 31, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on Mack Hatcher Pkwy. in order to install permanent striping.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from SR 248 to SR 96

  • Thursday July 26, 8PM-12 Midnight, The left lane of I-65 northbound will be closed at MM 64.0 to install an overhead sign structure. One lane will remain open.
  • Thursday July 26 through Wednesday August 1, 8PM-5AM, (excluding Saturday and Sunday), The right lane of I-65 southbound between MM 62.0 and MM 65.0 will be closed for paving operations.  One lane will remain open.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on Moore’s Lane (SR 441) from SR6 to I-65

  • Thursday July 26 through Wednesday August 1, 10PM-6AM, (excluding Saturday), There will be alternating lane closures on Moore’s Lane in order to adjust utility boxes and mill the roadway.

DAVIDSON/SUMNER COUNTIES, Miscellaneous Safety Improvements

Local Program Project-Gateway (Korean Veterans) Blvd.

  • From now through December 2012, Traffic on 8th Ave. south and north will be reduced to one lane approaching the Lafayette St. intersection in order to construct roundabout.

WILSON COUNTY, I-40 Widening from Central Pike to East of SR 109

  • Thursday July 26 through Friday August 3, 8 PM til 5 AM, There will be lane closures on I-40 eastbound and westbound from Mt. Juliet Road to east of SR 109 in order to mill and pave the outside shoulder.  At least one lane will remain open in each direction at all times.

WILSON COUNTY, Bridge Construction on Linwood Road over I-40

  • Tuesday July 31 and Wednesday August 1, 9PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 eastbound and westbound in order to set steel bridge beams.

WILSON & SUMNER COUNTIES, Bridge Construction on SR 109 over the Cumberland River

  • Thursday July 26 through Wednesday August 1, 8PM- 6AM, The northbound lane of SR 109 will be closed in order to pour concrete or southbound for roadway construction.

GILES COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-65 from the Alabama State Line to US 64

  • Thursday July 26 through Wednesday August 1, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-65 northbound and southbound between MM 0.0 and MM 14.0 in order to pave and install guardrail.  One lane will remain open.

LAWRENCE COUNTY, West Bypass US 64

  • Tuesday July 31 and Wednesday August 1, 8AM-8PM, There will be one lane closed in each direction on SR-6(US43) to set beams on the proposed SR-15(US64) overpass bridge.  The lane closures will be at mile marker 18.0 on SR-6.  There may also be delays for motorist traveling west on SR-15 wanting to turn left onto SR-6 to go south.

  • Thursday July 26 through Wednesday August 1, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekends), There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:

Cheatham County 

  • Thursday July 26 through Wednesday August 1, (excluding weekends), 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on State Route 49 in both directions in order to mill, pave, and stripe the roadway between mile marker 3 and mile marker 4.  One lane will remain open.  
  • Thursday July 26 through Wednesday August 1, (excluding weekends), 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on State Route 249 in both directions in order to pave and stripe the roadway between mile marker 0 and mile marker 0.5.  One lane will remain open.  


Cheatham, Montgomery, Robertson and Sumner Counties

  • Thursday July 26 through Wednesday August 1, (excluding weekends), 9AM-3PM, There will be periodic lane closures in each direction on I-24 from the 0 mile marker to the 32 mile marker in (Cheatham, Montgomery and Robertson Counties) and on I-65 from the 97.71 mile marker to the 121.47 mile marker in (Robertson and Sumner Counties) in order to spray Johnson grass and guardrails for vegetation control.  This will be a moving operation.

 

Davidson County 

  • Thursday July 26 and Monday July 30 through Wednesday August 1, 8PM-1AM, There will be alternating right lane closures on I-65 in both directions between mile marker 94 and mile marker 90 for rock removal.  Three lanes will remain open.
  • Thursday July 26, 8PM-1AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-65 northbound at the I-40/I-65 westbound split just before the 12th Avenue overpass, for milling and paving.  One lane will remain open coming from I-65 northbound and one lane on I-40 westbound. 
  • Tuesday July 31 and Wednesday August 1, 8PM-1AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-24 eastbound between mile marker 54 and mile marker 57 for milling and paving.  Two lanes will remain open.  

Humphreys County 

  • Monday July 30 through Wednesday August 1, 6PM-10PM, There will be alternating lane closures on the I-40 westbound ramp at Exit 143 (State Hwy-13) for milling and paving

Houston County 

  • Thursday July 26 through Wednesday August 1, (excluding weekends), 9AM-3PM, There will be temporary lane closures for paving over replaced culverts in Houston County at the following locations:

 

  • State Route 46------2.0 Mile Marker to 3.0 Mile Marker

                                        5.5 Mile Marker to 6.5 Mile Marker

                                        7.0 Mile Marker to 8.0 Mile Marker

Montgomery & Robertson Counties 

  • Thursday July 26 through Wednesday August 1, (excluding weekends), 9AM-12PM, There will be one lane periodically closed on I-24 in both directions in Robertson and Montgomery Counties to move equipment between mile marker 18 and mile marker 11 in order to trim vegetation overhanging the roadway.  One lane will remain open.   

Robertson County 

  • Thursday July 26 through Wednesday August 1, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekends),There will be alternating lane closures on State Route 65 (U.S. 431) in both directions in order to pave and stripe the roadway between mile marker 6.0 and mile marker 7.5.  One lane will remain open.   

 

Smith County 

  • Thursday July 26, 7PM-3AM, The right lane will be closed on I-40 eastbound in Smith County at mile marker 263.0 for bridge work.  One lane will remain open.   

Sumner County 

  • Thursday July 26 through Tuesday July 31, 9AM-3PM, There will be an intermediate lane closure with possible detours at State Route 25 in both directions, between mile marker 14.3 and mile marker 14.5 for a road widening project.  One lane will remain open.   

Williamson County 

  • Monday July 30, 9AM-3PM, State Route 840 eastbound at Peytonsville Road will be paced due to rock wall excavation.  Traffic will be released approximately every 20 minutes.
  • Monday July 30, 9AM-3PM, State Route 840 westbound at Peytonsville Road will have one lane closed due to rock wall excavation.  One lane will remain open. 

Wilson County 

  • Thursday July 26, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on State Route 109 in both directions in Wilson County between mile marker 11.77 and mile marker 14.6 for slope mowing.  One lane will remain open.   

 
TDOT Bridge Inspection

Davidson County 

  • Wednesday August 1, 8PM-12AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-65 southbound at mile marker 95.8 (Two Mile Pkwy./Goodlettsville), for bridge deck inspection.  Two lanes will remain open.  
  • Tuesday July 31, 8PM-3AM, The two right lanes will be closed on I-65 northbound at mile marker 81.4 (Wedgewood Avenue) for bridge repair. One lane will remain open.   

 TDOT Utilities

  • From now through Wednesday August 1, 9AM-3PM, Along SR-24 Charlotte Pike from Hwy 70S. to 7670 Charlotte Pike in Davidson County. This request by Nashville Electric Service for replacement of 61 poles and 50 anchors.
  • From now through Thursday October 4, 7PM-6AM, On SR-258 on New Shackle Island Road from Volunteer Dr. to Iris Dr. in Summer County .This request by Hendersonville U.D. to open-cut into the roadway for the installation of approx. 3800’ of 16” water main. Proper lane closures signs and detours will be setup.
  • Sunday, July 29, 7AM-9AM, On Vietnam Veterans Pkwy. SR-386 at Indian Lake Blvd. Interchange Exit in Summer County. This request by Comcast to remove overhead strand and cable from existing poles. Two rolling stop blocks are expected, four police cars will be present.
  • Thursday August 2 through Friday September 28, 9AM-3PM, On SR-65 Whites Creek Pike starting at Green Lane running north ending in front of Bates Nursery. This request by, Piedmont Gas Co. to install 4” gas main there will be temporary lane closures.
