Inmate Captured

ONLY - An inmate who walked away from the Turney Center Industrial Complex - Annex is back in TDOC custody.  Calvin Reeves, 39, was discovered missing from the minimum-security facility in Only, Tennessee just after 9:00 a.m. Thursday morning.

Reeves is serving a 30-year sentence for drug convictions out of Putnam County.  The Department of Correction's Office of Investigation and Compliance and several area law enforcement agencies tracked the inmate to the Scottish Inn Hotel on Murfreesboro Road where he was arrested just after 4:00 p.m. Thursday afternoon.

A female accomplice who was with Reeves at the hotel has also been taken into custody.  Reeves will now be housed at the Riverbend Maximum Security Institution in N ashville and will face escape charges.
