DAVIDSON COUNTY, Repair of 14 Bridges over I-440

  • Thursday August 30 and Tuesday September 4 and Wednesday September 5, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating closures on West End Ave. over I-440 (including ramp closures) in order to work on expansion joints.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Construction on Gallatin Rd. over the CSX Railroad

  • From now through November 2012, Gallatin Rd. will be reduced to one lane in each direction in this area.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Rehabilitation on I-24 over Main St. and Woodland St.

  • Thursday August 30, 9AM–3PM and Friday August 31, 9AM–12PM, There will be single lane closures on Main Street and Woodland Street, from South Fifth Street to Interstate Drive, for installation of fencing. 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Repair of the I-24 (Silliman Evans) Bridge over Nashville & Eastern Railroad

  • Tuesday September 4 through Wednesday September 5, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on Hermitage Ave. for painting operations.
  • Tuesday September 4 through Wednesday September 5, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-24 for painting operations.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Repair on 3rd Ave. over I-65

  • Thursday August 30, 12 Midnight-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-65 southbound for bridge repairs.  One lane will remain open.
  • Tuesday September 4 and Wednesday September 5, 9PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-65 southbound for bridge repairs.  One lane will remain open.
  • From now through April 2013, Third Ave. Bridge will be reduced to one lane.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Construction on Dickerson Rd. over Dry Creek

  • From now through April 2013, Dickerson Rd. will be reduced to one lane in each direction from Dry Creek Rd. to Robert Cartwright Dr. in Goodlettsville (LM 22.09).

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on Briley Pkwy. From Mashburn Rd. to Glastonbury Rd.

  • Thursday August 30 and Tuesday September 4 and Wednesday September 5, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures in both directions in order to perform bridge deck repairs.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on US 70S from West of I-40 (LM 5.2) to SR 100 (LM 10.9)

  • Tuesday September 4 and Wednesday September 5, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures for casting adjustments and milling on US 70S.

MAURY COUNTY, Bridge Construction on SR 50 over I-65

  • From now through June 2013, SR 50 will be reduced to one lane in this area due to repair of the bridge.  Signalization will in place.

SUMNER COUNTY, Intersection Improvements on SR 109 @ Kirby Road

  • Thursday August 30, 8PM- 6AM, Alternating lane closures on SR 109 (Northbound & Southbound) placing of storm drain.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from SR 248 to SR 96

  • Thursday August 30 and Tuesday September 4 and Wednesday September 5, 8PM-5AM, The right lane of
  • I-65 northbound from MM 62.0 to Hwy. 96 will be closed for paving operations.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Construction on SR 397 (Mack Hatcher Pkwy.) from south of SR 96 to SR 6

  • Thursday August 30 through Wednesday September 5, 10AM-11AM and 1PM-2PM, (excluding holiday weekend), There will be lane closures on SR 397 in order for the contractor to blast.
  • Wednesday September 5, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on Mack Hatcher Pkwy. from Cool Springs Blvd. to Franklin Rd. in order to set beams.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 6 (US 31) from Saturn Plant Road to Williamson County Line

  • Thursday August 30 and Tuesday September 4 through Wednesday September 5, 6PM-5:30AM, There will be alternating temporary lane closures on SR6 in order to conduct paving operations.

DAVIDSON/SUMNER COUNTIES, Miscellaneous Safety Improvements

Local Program Project-Gateway (Korean Veterans) Blvd.

  • From now through December 2012, Traffic on 8th Ave. south and north will be reduced to one lane approaching the Lafayette St. intersection in order to construct roundabout.

WILSON COUNTY, I-40 Widening from Central Pike to East of SR 109

  • Tuesday September 4, and Wednesday September 5, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 eastbound and westbound in order to set barrier rail.  One lane will remain open in each direction.

WILSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 171 from US 41 to Wilson County Line

  • Tuesday September 4 and Wednesday September 5, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating temporary lane closures on SR171 from LM 2.20 through LM 8.77 in order to install guardrail.

WILSON & SUMNER COUNTIES, Bridge Construction on SR 109 over the Cumberland River

  • Thursday August 30 through Wednesday September 5, between 11AM and 1PM, (excluding holiday weekend), Traffic will be stopped for 15 minutes or less in order for the contractor to blast.
  • Beginning Wednesday September 5, 9AM-2:30PM, (for approximately 14 days), Traffic will be stopped for 15 minutes or less in order to unload concrete bridge beams periodically throughout the day.
  • Thursday August 30 through Wednesday September 5, 8PM- 6AM, (excluding holiday weekend), The northbound lane of SR 109 will be closed in order to pour concrete or southbound for roadway construction.

TDOT Maintenance:

Middle Tennessee

  • Thursday August 30 until noon on Friday August 31 and Tuesday September 4 through Wednesday September 5, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekends), There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:

 

I-24 Cheatham, Davidson, Montgomery and Robertson Counties

I-65 Davidson, Robertson, Williamson Counties

I-40 Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Hickman, Humphreys Counties

 

Cheatham, Montgomery, Robertson Counties

  • Thursday August 30 until noon on Friday August 31 and Tuesday September 4 through Wednesday September 5, 9AM-3PM, There will be periodic lane closures in each direction on I-24 from the 14 mile marker to the 32 mile for chemical control of vegetation.  This will be a moving operation.  

 

Davidson County 

  • Thursday August 30 until noon on Friday August 31 and Tuesday September 4 through Wednesday September 5, 9AM-3PM and 7PM-1AM, There will be various shoulder closures in Davidson County for rock removal on all interstates.  All lanes will remain open.   

Houston County 

  • Thursday August 30 until noon on Friday August 31 and Tuesday September 4 through Wednesday September 5, 9AM-3PM, There will be temporary lane closures for paving over replaced culverts in Houston County at the following locations:

 

  • State Route 46------2.0 Mile Marker to 3.0 Mile Marker

                                        5.5 Mile Marker to 6.5 Mile Marker

                                        7.0 Mile Marker to 8.0 Mile Marker

 

Houston and Montgomery Counties 

Thursday, August 30 until noon on Friday, August 31 and Tuesday, September 4 through Wednesday, September 5, 9AM-3PM, There will be temporary lane closures for milling and paving bridge ends in Houston and Montgomery Counties at the following locations:

  • State Route 149 Montgomery County at 1.53 mile marker
  • State Route 149 Houston County at 0.06 mile marker
  • State Route 149 Houston County at 0.65 mile marker
  • State Route 149 Houston County at 0.83 mile marker

TDOT Utilities

  • Wednesday August 29 through Thursday August 30, 7PM-6AM, At 3978 Dickerson Rd SR-11 in the Northbound / outside Lane in Davidson County. This request by Madison Utilities using lane closure only for lowering a 10” waterline outside of R.O.W..   
  • From now through Thursday October 4, 7PM-6AM, On SR-258 on New Shackle Island Road from Volunteer Dr. to Iris Dr. in Summer County .This request by Hendersonville U.D. to open-cut into the roadway for the installation of approx. 3800’ of 16” water main. Proper lane closures signs and detours will be setup.
  • From now through Friday September 28, 9AM-3PM, On SR-65 Whites Creek Pike starting at Green Lane running north ending in front of Bates Nursery. This request by, Piedmont Gas Co. to install 4” gas main there will be temporary lane closures.
  • From now through Friday September 14,9AM-3PM, On SR-255 Harding Place starting at Timber Hill Drive to Danby Drive will be temporarily lane closures. This request by Nashville Electric Service for setting new poles for the Harding Road side walk improvements.
