January 24th-30th, 2013

  DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Construction on Gallatin Rd. over the CSX Railroad

  • From now through March 2013, Gallatin Rd. will be reduced to one lane in each direction in this area.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Repair of the I-24 (Silliman Evans) Bridge over Nashville & Eastern Railroad

  • Thursday January 24 through Wednesday January 30, 9AM-3PM (excluding weekends),  There will be shoulder closures on I-24 West bound to pressure wash river pier and apply texture coating and possibly start de-rigging operation.
  • Saturday January 26 through Sunday January 27, 6AM-6PM,  There will be shoulder closures on I-24 West bound to pressure wash river pier and apply texture coating and possibly start de-rigging operation.

 DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Repair on 3rd Ave. over I-65

  • From now through April 2013, Third Ave. Bridge will be reduced to one lane.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Construction on Dickerson Rd. over Dry Creek

  • From now through April 2013, Dickerson Rd. will be reduced to one lane in each direction from Dry Creek Rd. to Robert Cartwright Dr. in Goodlettsville (LM 22.09).

 DAVIDSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from Trinity Lane to Dickerson Road

  • Thursday January 24, 9PM-5AM, The right lane of I-65 northbound will be closed in order to remove an overhead cantilever sign.
  • Saturday January 26, 8AM-12PM, There will be two lanes of I-65 northbound closed in order to pave and stripe the roadway. 1 lane will remain open.  There will be rolling roadblocks on I-65 southbound in order to patch potholes.

 WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from SR 248 to SR 96

  • Thursday January 24 through Wednesday January 30, 9AM-3PM, The inside lane of I-65 northbound and southbound will be closed in order to texture coat median barrier rail.  Three lanes will remain open in each direction.

 Performance Based Maintenance Work on I-24, I-65 and SR 840

  • Thursday January 24 through Wednesday January 30, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:
    • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
    • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
    • I-65, Williamson
  • Thursday January 24 through Wednesday January 30, 8PM-5AM, There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to repair guardrail on an as needed basis:
  • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
  • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
  • I-65, Williamson

 MAURY COUNTY, Bridge Construction on SR 50 over I-65

  • From now through June 2013, SR 50 will be reduced to one lane in this area due to repair of the bridge.  Signalization is in place.

 WILSON COUNTY, I-40 Widening from Central Pike to East of SR 109

  • Thursday January 24 through Wednesday January 30, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 eastbound and westbound in order to patch potholes.  One lane will remain open in each direction.

 WILSON & SUMNER COUNTIES, Bridge Construction on SR 109 over the Cumberland River

  • Wednesday January 23 through Wednesday January 30, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 109 northbound and southbound for utility line relocation work.
  • Saturday January 26, 8PM through Monday January 28, 6AM, The northbound lane of SR 109 will be closed in order to pour concrete for seal footer for pier 7.

 TDOT Maintenance:

Middle Tennessee

  • Thursday January 24 through Wednesday January 30, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekends), There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:

I-24 Cheatham, Davidson, Montgomery and Robertson Counties

I-65 Davidson, Robertson, Williamson Counties

I-40 Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Hickman, Humphreys Counties

 Davidson County

  • Thursday January 24 through Wednesday January 30, 9AM-3PM and 7PM-1AM, (excluding weekends), There will be various shoulder closures in Davidson County for rock removal on all interstates.  All lanes will remain open. 
  • Thursday January 24 through Wednesday January 30, 8PM-1AM, (excluding weekends), There will be alternating lane closures on various state routes for crack sealing.  One lane will remain open.

 Cheatham County

  • Thursday January 24 through Wednesday January 30, 7PM-5AM, (excluding weekends), There will be one lane periodically closed on I-40 eastbound in Cheatham County between mile marker 189.5 and mile marker 191.5 in order to patch potholes in the concrete bridge deck.  One lane will remain open.

 TDOT Bridge Inspection

Davidson County

  • Wednesday January 30 and Thursday January 31, 9AM-3PM, The right lane will be closed on State Route 45 (Old Hickory Blvd.) eastbound on the bridge over the Cumberland River for bridge inspection.  One lane will remain open.

 TDOT Utilities

  • From now through Thursday January 31, 7PM-6AM, On SR-106 at the intersection of Hillsboro Road, Hobbs Rd and Overhill Dr.  This request by Piedmont Gas to replace 4 existing valves and 75’ of gas main located in the intersection.
  • Sunday January 27, 6AM-6PM, On I-40 at both 4th Ave. and 2nd Ave. South mile marker 210.4 in Davidson County. This request by Nashville Electric Service removing existing overhead conductors from over I-40. Eight rolling stop blocks are expected, ten Metro Police Officers and Flag Pros to provide the required traffic control.
  • Monday January 28 through Wednesday March 6,7PM-6AM, On SR -1 West End Ave. at 25th Ave. in Davidson County. This request by Metro Water Services for a 18” and 8” water main installation.
