DAVIDSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from Trinity Lane to Dickerson Rd.

  • No lane closures this week

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Construction on Gallatin Rd. over the CSX Railroad

  • From now through December 2013, Gallatin Rd. will be reduced to one lane in each direction in this area.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Repair on I-40 over Jefferson St. and the Nashville & Western Railroad, including the Pedestrian Bridge over I-40

  • Thursday October 17 Through Wednesday October 23, 7AM-7PM, There will be alternating lane closures on Jefferson St. under I-40 in order to install the containment system.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on Dickerson Rd. from Trinity Lane to SR 155(Briley Pkwy.) and on US 431 from Dickerson Rd. to Whites Creek Pike

  • Thursday October 17 through Wednesday October 23, 8PM-6AM (excluding Friday and Saturday), There will be alternating lane closures on Dickerson Rd. in order to pave and install pavement marking.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Installation of Signal on Nolensville Rd. at the Intersection of Sunset Rd.

  • Thursday October 17 through Wednesday October 23, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on Nolensville Rd. at Sunset Rd. in order to install signal poles and signal heads and bore under the roadway.

Performance Based Maintenance Work on I-24, I-65 and SR 840

  • Thursday October 17 through Wednesday October 23, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:
    • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
    • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
    • I-65, Williamson
  • Thursday October 17 through Wednesday October 23, 8PM-5AM, There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to repair guardrail on an as needed basis:
    • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
    • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
    • I-65, Williamson

MAURY COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 243 from West of Redwood Circle to SR 50

  • Thursday October 17 through Wednesday October 23, 9AM-3PM, (excluding Saturday and Sunday), There will be alternating lane closures on SR243 for installation of guardrail, milling, and paving the roadway.
  • Saturday October 19 and Sunday October 20, 6AM-6PM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 243 for installation of guardrail, milling, and paving the roadway.

DAVIDSON AND RUTHERFORD COUNTIES, Nashville Smartway ITS I-24 Expansion Project

  • Thursday October 17 through Wednesday October 23, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating shoulder closures on both I-24 eastbound and westbound (approximately between Mile Marker 57 and Mile Marker 86) and SR 840 (approximately between Mile Marker 48 and Mile Marker 57) for road boring and conduit installation.
  • Thursday October 17 through Wednesday October 23, 9PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on both I-24 eastbound and westbound (approximately between Mile Marker 57 and Mile Marker 86) and SR 840 (approximately between Mile Marker 48 and Mile Marker 57) for road boring and conduit installation.

WILSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 10 (US 231) from SR 265 to south of Hartman Dr. and from the I-40 ramp to south of Gay St.

  • Thursday October 17 through Wednesday October 23, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 10 (US 231) north of I-40 in both directions in order to install permanent striping.

WILSON COUNTY, I-40 Widening from Central Pike to East of SR 109

  • Thursday October 17 through Wednesday October 23, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 eastbound and westbound for milling operations and traffic shifts.  One lane will remain open in each direction.
  • Thursday October 17 through Wednesday October 23, 9AM-2PM, There will be rolling road blocks on I-40 eastbound and westbound for blasting.  Police officers will be utilized.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from SR 840 to SR 248, Interchange Modifications and Widening on SR 248 from Lewisburg Pike to west of I-65

  • Sunday October 20 through Wednesday October 23, 8PM-5AM, There will be a one lane closure on I-65 starting Northbound on Sunday from SR 840 to Mile Marker 63 then Southbound after midnight to prepare shoulders for milling and paving.  Monday-Wednesday there will be a one lane closure on I-65 in both directions from Mile Marker 63 to near SR 840 to mill and pave the outside shoulder.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Construction on SR 397 (Mack Hatcher Pkwy) South of SR 96 to SR 6

  • Saturday October 19, 6AM-9AM, Traffic will be switched onto the new bridges and roadway from Franklin Road to the bridge. Traffic will be delayed for a short time for striping operations. Officers will be on project.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, City of Franklin Construction

  • From now through November 2013, Hillsboro Road (SR 106) will be reduced from four lanes to two lanes between SR 96 and Independence Square to begin utility relocation for a sidewalk project.

Middle Tennessee

  • Thursday, October 17 through Wednesday, October 23, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekends), There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:
  • I-24 Cheatham, Davidson, Montgomery and Robertson Counties
  • I-65 Davidson, Robertson, Williamson Counties
  • I-40 Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Hickman, Humphreys Counties

DAVIDSON COUNTY

  • Thursday, October 17 through Wednesday, October 23, 9AM-3PM and 7PM-1AM, (excluding weekends), There will be various shoulder closures in Davidson County for rock removal on all interstates.  All lanes will remain open.  (Weather permitting)     
  • Thursday, October 17 through Wednesday, October 23, October 16, 8PM-1AM, (excluding weekends), There will be alternating lane closures on various state routes for crack sealing.  One lane will remain open. (Weather permitting) 
  • Thursday, October 17 through Wednesday, October 23, 9AM-3PM and 8PM-5AM, There will be mobile operations in various locations on the interstates in Davidson County for Drain Cleaning Operations.  This will affect the shoulders or inside and outside lanes.
  • Thursday, October 17 and Tuesday, October 22, 7PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-24 in both directions between mile marker 32 and mile marker 40 for milling and paving.  One lane will remain open.  (Weather permitting) 

CHEATHAM, MONTGOMERY AND ROBERTSON COUNTIES

  • Thursday, October 17 through Wednesday, October 23, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekends),

There will be periodic lane closures (rolling road blocks) in each direction on I-24 from the 0 mile marker to the 32 mile marker in (Cheatham, Montgomery, and Robertson Counties in District 33) in order to spray guardrails for vegetation control.  This will be a moving operation. (Weather permitting)

ROBERTSON AND SUMNER COUNTIES

  • Thursday, October 17 through Wednesday, October 23, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekends),

There will be periodic lane closures (rolling road blocks) in each direction on I-65 from the 97.71 mile marker to the 121.47 mile marker in each direction in (Robertson and Sumner Counties in District 32 and District 33) in order to spray guardrails for vegetation control.  This will be a moving operation. (Weather permitting)

TDOT Bridge Inspection:

DAVIDSON COUNTY

  • Monday October 14 through Wednesday October 16, 9AM-3PM, The right lane will be closed on I-24 in both directions (over the Silliman Evans Bridge) between mile marker 47 and mile marker 48 for bridge inspection.  Three lanes will remain open.  
  • Friday October 11 8PM through Sunday October 13, 11PM, Trinity Lane eastbound ramp to I-65 north and the right lane on I-65 northbound at Trinity Lane will be closed for concrete repair.  Two lanes will remain open.

TDOT Utilities:

  • Monday October 21 through Friday October 25, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 76 in White House, Sumner County for splice pit next to roadway to relocate cable for drainage pipe installation.
