DAVIDSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from Trinity Lane to Dickerson Rd.

  • Wednesday October 9 and Thursday October 10, 9PM-5AM, The right lane of I-65 northbound will be closed in order to drive sheet piling at the Ewing Lane Bridge.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Construction on Gallatin Rd. over the CSX Railroad

  • From now through December 2013, Gallatin Rd. will be reduced to one lane in each direction in this area.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Repair on I-40 over Jefferson St. and the Nashville & Western Railroad, including the Pedestrian Bridge over I-40

  • Thursday October 10 Through Wednesday October 16, 7AM-7PM, There will be alternating lane closures on Jefferson St. under I-40 in order to install the containment system.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on Dickerson Rd. from Trinity Lane to SR 155(Briley Pkwy.) and on US 431 from Dickerson Rd. to Whites Creek Pike

  • Thursday October 10 and Friday October 11, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on Trinity Lane in order to install snow plowable markers.
  • Sunday October 13 through Wednesday October 16, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on Dickerson Rd. in order to pave.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Installation of Signal on Nolensville Rd. at the Intersection of Sunset Rd.

  • Thursday October 10 through Wednesday October 16, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on Nolensville Rd. at Sunset Rd. in order to install signal poles and signal heads and bore under the roadway.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Repair of Two Bridges on Elm Hill Pk. Over I-40 & on McGavock Pike over Briley Pkwy

  • Friday October 11, 8PM through Monday October 14, 6AM, There will be two lanes closed on Briley Pkwy. Northbound at McGavock Pike in order to straighten a damaged bridge beam.  Two lanes will remain open.

Performance Based Maintenance Work on I-24, I-65 and SR 840

  • Thursday October 10 through Wednesday October 16, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:
    • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
    • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
    • I-65, Williamson
  • Thursday October 10 through Wednesday October 16, 8PM-5AM, There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to repair guardrail on an as needed basis:
    • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
    • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
    • I-65, Williamson

 

MAURY COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 99 from I-65 to SR 106

  • Thursday October 10 through Wednesday October 16, 9AM-3PM, (excluding Saturday and Sunday), There will be alternating lane closures on SR 99 for installation of guardrail, milling, and paving the roadway.
  • Saturday October 12 and Sunday October 13, 6AM-6PM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 99 for installation of guardrail, milling, and paving the roadway.

MAURY COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 243 from West of Redwood Circle to SR 50

  • Thursday October 10 through Wednesday October 16, 9AM-3PM, (excluding Saturday and Sunday), There will be alternating lane closures on SR243 for installation of guardrail, milling, and paving the roadway.
  • Saturday October 12 and Sunday October 13, 6AM-6PM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 243 for installation of guardrail, milling, and paving the roadway.

DAVIDSON AND RUTHERFORD COUNTIES, Nashville Smartway ITS I-24 Expansion Project

  • Thursday October 10 through Wednesday October 16, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating shoulder closures on both I-24 eastbound and westbound (approximately between Mile Marker 57 and Mile Marker 86) and SR 840 (approximately between Mile Marker 48 and Mile Marker 57) for road boring and conduit installation.
  • Thursday October 10 through Wednesday October 16, 9PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on both I-24 eastbound and westbound (approximately between Mile Marker 57 and Mile Marker 86) and SR 840 (approximately between Mile Marker 48 and Mile Marker 57) for road boring and conduit installation.

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Bridge Repair on Rocky Fork Rd. over I-24

  • Thursday October 10 through Wednesday October 16, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-24 eastbound and westbound near MM 69.0 in order to remove bracing on the bridge.

WILSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 10 (US 231) from SR 265 to south of Hartman Dr. and from the I-40 ramp to south of Gay St.

  • Thursday October 10 through Wednesday October 16, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 10 (US 231) north of I-40 in both directions in order to install permanent striping.

WILSON COUNTY, I-40 Widening from Central Pike to East of SR 109

  • Thursday October 10 through Wednesday October 16, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 eastbound and westbound for milling operations and traffic shifts.  One lane will remain open in each direction.
  • Thursday October 10 through Wednesday October 16, 9AM-2PM, There will be rolling road blocks on I-40 eastbound and westbound for blasting.  Police officers will be utilized.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Construction on SR 397 (Mack Hatcher Pkwy) South of SR 96 to SR 6

  • Thursday October 10 through Wednesday October 16, 9AM-3PM, There will be lane closures on Cool Springs Blvd. at Mack Hatcher for storm drain installation. 

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, City of Franklin Construction

  • From now through November 2013, Hillsboro Road (SR 106) will be reduced from four lanes to two lanes between SR 96 and Independence Square to begin utility relocation for a sidewalk project.

 

TDOT Maintenance:

Middle Tennessee

  • Thursday October 10 through Wednesday October 16, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekends), There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:
  • I-24 Cheatham, Davidson, Montgomery and Robertson Counties
  • I-65 Davidson, Robertson, Williamson Counties
  • I-40 Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Hickman, Humphreys Counties

DAVIDSON COUNTY

  • Thursday October 10 through Wednesday October 16, 9AM-3PM and 7PM-1AM, (excluding weekends), There will be various shoulder closures in Davidson County for rock removal on all interstates.  All lanes will remain open
  • Thursday October 10 through Wednesday October 16, 8PM-1AM, (excluding weekends), There will be alternating lane closures on various state routes for crack sealing.  One lane will remain open.
  • Thursday October 10 through Wednesday October 16, 9AM-3PM and 8PM-5AM, There will be mobile operations in various locations on the interstates in Davidson County for Drain Cleaning Operations.  This will affect the shoulders or inside and outside lanes.
  • Thursday October 10, 7PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on State Route 155 (Briley Parkway) in both directions between mile marker 27 and mile marker 24 for milling and paving.  One lane will remain open.  
  • Tuesday October 15, 8PM-5AM, The right lane on I-24 eastbound and the left lane on I-40 eastbound split at the 211 mile marker will be closed for milling and paving.  One lane will remain open. 

MONTGOMERY COUNTY

  • Tuesday October 15, 9AM through Wednesday October 16, 4PM, State Route 233 in Montgomery County will be closed to through traffic from Woodlawn Road (8.95 Mile Marker) to Lake Road (7.03 Mile Marker) to allow the contractor to install a cross drain.  Local traffic will still be allowed.

WILSON COUNTY

  • Thursday October 10 9AM-3PM, Central Pike (State Route 265) will be closed to one lane at Gladeville Road,  to replace a pipe.  Flaggers will be used.

TDOT Bridge Inspection:

DAVIDSON COUNTY

  • Monday October 14 through Wednesday October 16, 9AM-3PM, The right lane will be closed on I-24 in both directions (over the Silliman Evans Bridge) between mile marker 47 and mile marker 48 for bridge inspection.  Three lanes will remain open.  
  • Friday October 11 8PM through Sunday October 13, 11PM, Trinity Lane eastbound ramp to I-65 north and the right lane on I-65 northbound at Trinity Lane will be closed for concrete repair.  Two lanes will remain open.

TDOT Utilities:

  • Sunday October 13, 7AM-11AM, There will be rolling roadblocks on SR 840 near LM 53.70 in Rutherford County in order for Middle TN Electric to remove lines from the right of way.
  • Tuesday October 15, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on Charlotte Pike approximately one mile west of River Rd. in order to remove steel plates from the roadway and pave.
