BENTON COUNTY, SR-191 over I-40 LM-0.00: Thursday November 14, 9:00 a. m.-2:00 p. m.:  There will be temporary lane closures I-40 eastbound and westbound, Materials and Test will be coring roadway and shoulders.

Friday November 15 8:00 p. m. through Monday November 18, 6:00 a. m.:  There will be lane closures eastbound and westbound on I-40 mile marker 133.0, for shoulder strengthening and widening.  One lane will remain open, in each direction.  Weather permitting.  THP will assist with traffic control.

BENTON COUNTY, SR-69:  Temporary lane closures each day for resurfacing beginning at James Walker Road and extending to Moss Road.  A flagman will be on site.

CARROLL COUNTY, SR-424:  Bridge Replacement on State Route 424 over an overflow and the Big Sandy River.  Wednesday November 13 through Wednesday November 20:  A signal system is being utilized and will reduce traffic to one lane with a 10’ lane restriction.

CARROLL COUNTY, SR-424:  Bridge Replacement on State Route 424 over the Rutherford Fork Obion River and overflows.  Wednesday November 13 through Wednesday November 20:  A signal system is being utilized and will reduce traffic to one lane with a 9.5’ lane restriction.

CHESTER COUNTY, SR-22:  Bridge Repair on State Route 22 over Dry Creek at the intersection of Willis Road.  Wednesday November 13 through Wednesday November 20:  A signal system is active and will reduce traffic to one lane with a 11’ lane restriction.  A detour will be put in place for Willis Road during the lane closure.

CROCKETT COUNTY, SR-20:  Temporary lanes closures each day for resurfacing beginning at the Dyer County line to Lyons/Birmingham Road.

CROCKETT COUNTY, SR-20:  Northbound outside lane at log mile 1.66 to log mile 1.28 will be closed approximately a month for intersection improvements.  Southbound outside lane at log mile 1.20 to log mile 1.47 will be closed approximately a month for intersection improvements.

CROCKETT/GIBSON COUNTY, SR-188:  Construction of five (5) concrete box beam bridges on State Route 188 at the Crockett/Gibson County line.  The roadway is CLOSED with a detour route posted.

DECATUR COUNTY, SR-69:  Miscellaneous safety improvements on Various State Routes will cause temporary lane closures daily.  A flagman will be on site.

DYER COUNTY, SR-104:  Bridge Repair on State Route 104 over overflow log mile 19.67.  A signal system will be utilized and will reduce traffic to one lane with a 10’ 9” lane restriction.

FAYETTE COUNTY, I-40, Interchange at SR 222:  Wednesday November 13 through Wednesday November 20:  The east and westbound shoulders at Exit 42 are CLOSED.

FAYETTE COUNTY, SR-76:  Construction of four (4) bridges on State Route 76 over North Fork Wolf River and overflows.  Roadway is OPEN, intermittent lane closures possible with flagmen.

FAYETTE COUNTY, SR-194:  Six (6) bridges are being replaced on State Route 194 between State Route 57 and State Route 15 (US-64).  Motorists should watch for construction vehicles entering and exiting the work zones.

FAYETTE COUNTY, SR-194:  Temporary lane closures are possible for the installation of safety improvements on State Route 194 in Fayette County.  A flagman will be onsite to direct traffic.

FAYETTE COUNTY SR-196:  Temporary lanes closures are possible for the installation of safety improvements on State Route 196 in Fayette County.  A flagman will be on site to direct traffic when the new signs are being installed.

FAYETTE and SHELBY COUNTY, (SR-385) Future I-269:  Construction of I-269 from the interchange with State Route 385 to the Mississippi State line.  The project intersects with US 72 (State Route 86) in the area of the Mann Road intersection.  State Route 86 is reduced to one lane in each direction for bridge construction in the median.  Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway from the construction zone and also crossing the roadway.

GIBSON COUNTY, SR-104:  A widening project from west of State Route 188 to Milligan Lane and Gumwoods Road will result in temporary lane closures each day.  Traffic has been shifted from east of State Route 188 to the proposed eastbound lanes.

GIBSON COUNTY, SR-152:  Temporary lane closures each day for resurfacing beginning at the WTNN Railroad to the Madison County line.

GIBSON COUNTY, SR-366:  Temporary lane closures each day for resurfacing beginning north of State Route 5 (Viking Drive to (US-70A/79) State Route 76.  Traffic is reduced to one lane with flagmen.

HARDEMAN COUNTY, SR-15:  A widening project between East of Margin Street to near Hornsby Loop Road.  All lanes are OPEN.  Ongoing work could cause temporary lane closures throughout project.  Flaggers are present.

HARDEMAN COUNTY, SR-15:  Temporary lane closures each day for resurfacing beginning at the Fayette County line and extending to the bridge over Clear Creek.

HARDEMAN COUNTY, SR-18:  Construction of a concrete box beam bridge and paving on State Route 18 over Cypress Creek.  Wednesday November 13 through Wednesday November 20:  There will be lane closures north and southbound with a temporary signal in place.  One lane will remain open, in each direction. 

HARDEMAN COUNTY, SR-100:  Temporary lane closures each day for resurfacing beginning at the US-64BR (West Main Street) and extending to US-64BR (East Main Street).

HARDIN COUNTY, SR-114:  Bridge Repair over the Tennessee River at Clifton.  Wednesday November 13 through Wednesday November 20:  There will be lane shifts east and westbound on State Route 114.

HAYWOOD COUNTY,  I-40:  Construction for the West Tennessee Solar Farm and Welcome Center, including removal of Albright Road bridge. Wednesday November 13 through Wednesday November 20:  There are no scheduled closures.

HAYWOOD COUNTY,  I-40:  Construction at the intersection of State Route 76 & I-40 at the weigh station ramps. There are permanent ramp closures at Exit 56 “On” ramps Eastbound and Westbound.

HENDERSON COUNTY, I-40:  Saturday November 16, 6:00 a. m.-5:00 p.  m.:  There will be temporary lane closures on I-40 eastbound and westbound (between mile markers 101.0-115.0), for milling and paving operations.  THP will assist with traffic control.

HENDERSON COUNTY, SR-20:  A widening project on State Route 20 (US-412) from State Route 114 to the Decatur County Line.  All lanes (new and existing) and adjacent side roads are now OPEN.  Ongoing work could cause temporary lane closures throughout project.  Flagmen are present.

HENDERSON COUNTY, SR-22:  A bridge repair project will cause lane closures on State Route 22 over I-40 in both north and southbound lanes.  There is a 16’ lane restriction.

HENDERSON COUNTY, SR-104:  Bridge repair project over the Beech River. Wednesday November 13 through Wednesday November 20:  Temporary lane closures north and southbound on SR 104 with temporary signal in place. One lane will remain open, in each direction.

LAKE COUNTY, SR-22:  A widening project on State Route 22, south of State Route 21 in Tiptonville to existing State Route 22 (Cates Landing Rd.).  There are lane shifts throughout the project.  State Route 22 is closed from intersection of State Route 212 and Vaughn Road North to Cates Landing Road. Detour 3.5 miles on Vaughn Road to State Route 22 Cates Landing Road.

LAUDERDALE COUNTY, SR-3:  Bridge Repair (2) on US-51 (State Route 3) over Chambers Branch.  Traffic is reduced to one lane with a 10’ 6” lane restriction.  Speed limit has been reduced to 55 MPH.

LAUDERDALE COUNTY, SR-208:  A widening project on State Route 208 (State Route 209/Cleveland Street) beginning at State Route 209 (Washington Street) and extending to State Route 208 at US-51/State Route 3 in Ripley.  There will be temporary lane closures daily.

MADISON COUNTY, SR-1:  Temporary lane closures each day for resurfacing beginning at State Route 223 to State Route 186.

MCNAIRY COUNTY, SR-224:  Construction of a concrete box beam bridge on State Route 224 over Graham Creek.  All lanes are now OPEN.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-55:  The I-55 Welcome Center is CLOSED due to construction of a new facility.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40 Bridge over MS River Phase 8: Wednesday November 13 through Wednesday November 20:  The left (inside) shoulder of Ramp J, the exit ramp for westbound Interstate 40 to Second Street, will be closed for about six months.  Ramp J will remain open at all times.  In addition, on Wednesday, November 13, 2013, Ramp NO (the Eastbound EXIT to Riverside Drive) will be REOPENED.  Front Street, between Jackson Avenue and Poplar Avenue will be REOPENED to all lanes in both directions. The right lane of Ramp IL (the Entrance ramp from Front Street to Westbound I-40) from Pier IL-7 to IL-13 will remained CLOSED – although Ramp IL will remain OPEN at all times. Work includes: Installation of structural steel along Ramps D and NO, construction of pier caps on Ramp NO, construction of pier caps on Ramp G, and installation of structural steel on the main line between Main Street and Third Street. 

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40 Bridge over MS River Phase 9: Wednesday November 13 through Wednesday November 20:  West of the I-40 MS River Bridge, the outside eastbound lane is closed. The lane closure is anticipated to remain in place until December 2013.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40 Memphis Smartway Transportation (ITS) I-40 beginning at SR-177 (Germantown Road) in Shelby County extending to Braden Road Overpass in Fayette County: Wednesday November 13 through Wednesday November 20:  There are no scheduled closures.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40 westbound over Levee Road: Wednesday November 13 through Wednesday November 20:  The westbound shoulder will be closed for the duration of the project.  Levee Road between Thomas Street (State Route 3) and N. Bellevue Blvd. will be CLOSED during construction.  Detour route is posted.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40/I-240 Phase 2 Interchange Improvements Wednesday November 13 through Wednesday November 20:  Modification of the I-40/I-240 interchange.  No scheduled closures.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-240 North of SR-385 to North of Walnut Grove Rd.: Wednesday November 13 through Wednesday November 20:  A widening project on I-240 will cause temporary lane closures. Traffic has been moved to temporary ramps at the Walnut Grove interchange.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-14 (US-61):  A replacement of the bridge over Illinois Central Railroad from South Parkway to McLemore Avenue. A detour route is posted.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-57:   Replacement of damaged drainage culverts along Poplar Ave. (State Route 57) between Kirby Parkway and Johnson Rd. in Germantown.  Wednesday, November 13 through Friday, November 15: On Wednesday November 15, the contractor will begin work on Poplar Ave. (State Route 57) at crossing #30 Greenhedge and at crossing #41 just west of Forest Hill-Irene.  Work will begin at 5:00 a.m. and continue until 7:00 p. m. each day.  Motorists should watch for lane shifts as work progresses.  At least one lane of traffic will remain open at all times.  In the event of inclement weather, start of work on these crossings will possibly be delayed until Wednesday November 22.  Work in the west bound lanes of Poplar will begin at 9:00 a. m.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-86 (US-72):  Construction on State Route 86 (US-72) for a widening project north of Quinn Road to State Route 57 (Poplar Avenue) in Collierville. Traffic is reduced to one lane in each direction.  South Rowlett Street is closed to through traffic in the vicinity of the State Route 86 bridge over the Norfolk Southern Railroad.  Motorists may use Wilson Street to Harris Street as a detour.

SHELBY COUNTY, -Grade, drain, pave SR-177 (Germantown Rd); Crestridge Rd to Stout Rd: Wednesday November 13 through Wednesday November 20:  There will be intermittent lane closures on State Route 177 (Germantown Road), between Germantown City Limits to Stout Road. Flagmen will be utilized during these closures to ensure safety from oncoming traffic and falling tree limbs.  The closures will be intermittent and for as short a time as possible.

SHELBY COUNTY, -Resurfacing on SR-385 beginning at SR-175 (Byhalia Road) overhead bridge LM-12.51 and extending to west of the bridge over US-72 (SR-86) LM-14.36  Wednesday November 13 through Wednesday November 20:  State Route 385 will be down to one lane in each direction at the bridge over State Route 175 (Byhalia Rd.).  The contractor will be performing milling and paving operations.  One lane of traffic will remain open in each direction.

SHELBY and FAYETTE COUNTY, SR 385:  Construction on State Route 385 from State Route 57 Poplar Ave. in Piperton to State Route 193 Macon Rd. in Fisherville. Trucks may be entering the highway in the area of State Route 193 (Macon Road) and State Route 385 intersection. 

TDOT REGION 4, On-Call Retracing of Pavement Marking with Paint: Wednesday November 13 through Wednesday November 20, 8:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m.:  There will be temporary lane closures eastbound & westbound MM 95.0 to MM 75.0, one lane will remain open, for the placement of proposed thermo retracing lane lines/ramps to be included.  THP will assist with traffic control

TDOT REGION 4, On-Call Pavement Repair  Wednesday November 13 & Thursday November 14, 8:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m. nightly & Friday November 15, 8:00 p. m. through Monday November 18, 6:00 a. m.:  There will be night time lane closures at the following locations, for the repair of damaged concrete.

  • SR-186/45 BYP, Madison County northbound & southbound lanes between Old Hickory Blvd and Airways Blvd., one lane will remain open.  Work will consist of sawing and concrete repairs.

Monday November 18 through Wednesday November 20, 8:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m nightly: There will be night time lane closures at the following locations, for the repair of damaged concrete.

  • SR-186/45 BYP, Madison County northbound & southbound lanes between Old Hickory Blvd and Airways Blvd., one lane will remain open.  Work will consist of sawing and concrete repairs.
  • I-40, Madison County eastbound (MM 88.0 to MM 94.5), one lane will remain open.  Work will consist of sawing and concrete repairs.  THP will assist with traffic control.

TDOT REGION 4, On-Call Guardrail:  Wednesday November 13 through Wednesday November 20, 8:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m.:  There will be night time lane closures at the following locations, to repair damaged guardrail.

  • I-40, Benton/Carroll/Henderson Counties, eastbound & westbound (MM 96.0 to MM 121.0), one lane will remain open.
  • I-40, Decatur County, eastbound (MM 126.0 to MM 127.0), one lane will remain open.
  • I-40, Madison County, eastbound & westbound (MM 79.0 to MM 83.5), one lane will remain open. 

TDOT MAINTENANCE:  Wednesday November 13 through Wednesday November 20, 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.:  There will be possible lane closures at various locations in Region IV in order to patch potholes on an as needed basis.

WEAKLEY COUNTY, SR-89:  Temporary lane closures each day for the installation of a flashing beacon at the intersection of State Route 239 in Dresden.  Flagmen will be present.
