CHEATHAM AND DAVIDSON COUNTIES, Repair of Three Bridges over the Cumberland River

  • Thursday November 7 through Wednesday November 13, 9AM-3PM, (excluding Saturday and Sunday), There will be shoulder closures on the bridge on SR 49 in Cheatham County (LM 4.95).

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from Trinity Lane to Dickerson Rd.

  • Friday November 8, Wednesday November 13, and Friday November 15, 12 Noon-3PM, There will be rolling roadblocks on I-65 southbound between the I-24 ramp and Trinity Lane for blasting.  Troopers will be utilized.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Construction on Gallatin Rd. over the CSX Railroad

  • From now through April 2014, Gallatin Rd. will be reduced to one lane in each direction in this area.
  • Friday November 8, 8PM-5AM, There will be a lane closure on Gallatin Rd. at Anderson Lane to connect conduit for loop wires.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Repair on I-40 over Jefferson St. and the Nashville & Western Railroad, including the Pedestrian Bridge over I-40

  • Thursday November 7 through Wednesday November 13, 7AM-7PM, There will be alternating lane closures on Jefferson St. under I-40 in order to install the containment system.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Misc. Safety Improvements 21st Ave at Children’s Way

  • Thursday November 7 through Wednesday November 13, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on Children’s Way and Capers Ave in order to shift traffic for the installation of a new traffic signal.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Misc. Safety Improvements on SR 255 (Donelson Pike) at the Intersection of Allen Rd. & Old Elm Hill Pike

  • Friday November 8, 8PM through Sunday November 10, 6AM, There will be alternating lane closures at the intersection in order to mill, pave, and stripe the roadway.

Performance Based Maintenance Work on I-24, I-65 and SR 840

  • Thursday November 7 through Wednesday November 13, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:
    • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
    • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
    • I-65, Williamson
  • Thursday November 7 through Wednesday November 13, 8PM-5AM, There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to repair guardrail on an as needed basis:
    • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
    • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
    • I-65, Williamson

DAVIDSON AND RUTHERFORD COUNTIES, Nashville Smartway ITS  I-24 Expansion Project

  • Thursday November 7 through Wednesday November 13, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating shoulder closures on both I-24 eastbound and westbound (approximately between Mile Marker 57 and Mile Marker 86) and SR 840 (approximately between Mile Marker 48 and Mile Marker 57) for road boring and conduit installation.

WILSON COUNTY, I-40 Widening from Central Pike to East of SR 109

  • Thursday November 7 through Wednesday November 13, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 eastbound and westbound in order to paint barrier walls and to prepare for traffic shifts.  One lane will remain open in each direction.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from SR 840 to SR 248, Interchange Modifications and Widening on SR 248 from Lewisburg Pike to west of I-65

  • Thursday November 7 through Saturday November 9, 8PM-5AM, There will be one lane closed on I-65 in both directions from  MM 63 to MM 61.5 ( SR840) to complete the final shoulder paving, install pavement markings and perform a shift of traffic. The traffic shift in both directions will occur on Friday night, which will require periodic short term ramp closures at SR248. Message boards will be used to inform motorist of the ramp closures.
  • Monday November 11 through Wednesday November 13, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-65 northbound and southbound in order to install portable barrier rail.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Construction on SR 397 (Mack Hatcher Pkwy) South of SR 96 to SR 6

  • Thursday November 7 through Wednesday November 13, 9AM-3PM, There will be lane closures on SR 96 westbound just east of Mack Hatcher in order to remove asphalt and excavate subgrade for paving. This will include closing the outlet to Jordan Rd.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of SR 253 (Concord Rd.) from Sunset Rd. to Nolensville Rd.

  • Thursday November 7 through Wednesday November 13, 9AM-3PM, Traffic will be flagged during clearing operations.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Installation of Signal on Nolensville Rd. at the Intersection of Sunset Rd.

  • Thursday November 7 through Wednesday November 13, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on Nolensville Rd. at Sunset Rd. in order to work on punch list items.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, City of Franklin Construction

  • From now through November 2013, Hillsboro Road (SR 106) will be reduced from four lanes to two lanes between SR 96 and Independence Square to begin utility relocation for a sidewalk project.

Middle Tennessee

  • Thursday November 7 through Wednesday November 13, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekends), There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:
  • I-24 Cheatham, Davidson, Montgomery and Robertson Counties
  • I-65 Davidson, Robertson, Williamson Counties
  • I-40 Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Hickman, Humphreys Counties

DAVIDSON COUNTY

  • Thursday November 7 through Wednesday November 13, 9AM-3PM and 8PM-5AM, There will be mobile operations in various locations on the interstates in Davidson County for Drain Cleaning Operations.  This will affect the shoulders or inside and outside lanes.
  • Thursday November 7, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-65 northbound between mile marker 94 and mile marker 95 for core drilling. Two lanes will remain open.  

DICKSON COUNTY

  • Thursday November 7, 8PM-3AM, There will be one lane closed on I-40 eastbound at SR 840 for milling and paving.  Two lanes will remain open.

CHEATHAM, MONTGOMERY AND ROBERTSON COUNTIES

  • Thursday November 7 through Wednesday November 13, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekends), There will be periodic lane closures (rolling road blocks) in each direction on I-24 from the 0 mile marker to the 32 mile marker in (Cheatham, Montgomery, and Robertson Counties in District 33) in order to spray guardrails for vegetation control.  This will be a moving operation.

ROBERTSON AND SUMNER COUNTIES

  • Thursday November 7 through Wednesday November 13, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekends), There will be periodic lane closures (rolling road blocks) in each direction on I-65 from the 97.71 mile marker to the 121.47 mile marker in each direction in (Robertson and Sumner Counties in District 32 and District 33) in order to spray guardrails for vegetation control.  This will be a moving operation.

HUMPHREYS COUNTY

  • Thursday November 7, 8PM-3AM, There will be one lane closed on I-40 eastbound at MM 137 for milling and paving.  One lane will remain open.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY

  • Thursday November 7 through Wednesday November 13, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on State Route 233 in Montgomery County between the 7.1 mile marker and the 7.3 Mile marker for milling and paving. 

TDOT Bridge Repair:

DAVIDSON COUNTY

  • Thursday November 7, 8PM-4AM, The two left lanes will be closed on I-65 northbound at exit 81: Wedgewood Ave. for bridge repair.  One lane will remain open. 

TDOT Materials and Test:

  • Friday November 8, 9AM-12 Noon, There will be a rolling lane closure on SR 106 in both directions in Williamson County from Les Watkins Rd. to SR 397 in order to core the roadway.  One lane will remain open.
