In observance of the Christmas and New Year's holidays, there will be no lane closures permitted on interstates or state routes beginning at 6AM on Tuesday, December 24 - 6AM Thursday, January 2.

BENTON COUNTY, SR-191 over I-40: Wednesday December 18 through Wednesday December 25:  There will be possible lane closures in both directions on State Route 191.

CARROLL COUNTY, SR-424:  Bridge Replacement on State Route 424 over an overflow and the Big Sandy River. Wednesday December 18 through Wednesday December 25:  A signal system is being utilized and will reduce traffic to one lane with a 10’ lane restriction.

CARROLL COUNTY, SR-424:  Bridge Replacement on State Route 424 over the Rutherford Fork Obion River and overflows.  Wednesday December 18 through Wednesday December 25:  A signal system is being utilized and will reduce traffic to one lane with a 9.5’ lane restriction.

CHESTER COUNTY, SR-22:  Bridge Repair on State Route 22 over Dry Creek at the intersection of Willis Road.  Wednesday December 18 through Wednesday December 25:  A signal system is active and will reduce traffic to one lane with a 11’ lane restriction.  A detour will be put in place for Willis Road during the lane closure.

CROCKETT COUNTY, SR-20:  Temporary lanes closures each day for resurfacing beginning at the Dyer County line to Lyons/Birmingham Road.

CROCKETT COUNTY, SR-20:  Northbound outside lane at log mile 1.66 to log mile 1.28 will be closed approximately a month for intersection improvements.  Southbound outside lane at log mile 1.20 to log mile 1.47 will be closed approximately a month for intersection improvements.

CROCKETT/GIBSON COUNTY, SR-188:  Construction of five (5) concrete box beam bridges on State Route 188 at the Crockett/Gibson County line.  The roadway is CLOSED with a detour route posted.

DYER COUNTY, SR-104:  Bridge Repair on State Route 104 over overflow.  A signal system will be utilized and will reduce traffic to one lane with a 10’ 9” lane restriction.

FAYETTE COUNTY, I-40, Interchange at SR 222:  Wednesday December 18 through Wednesday December 25:  The east and westbound shoulders at Exit 42 are CLOSED

FAYETTE COUNTY, SR-194:  Six (6) bridges are being replaced on State Route 194 between State Route 57 and State Route 15 (US-64).  Motorists should watch for construction vehicles entering and exiting the work zones.

FAYETTE COUNTY, SR-194:  Temporary lane closures are possible for the installation of safety improvements on State Route 194 in Fayette County.  A flagman will be onsite to direct traffic.

FAYETTE COUNTY SR-196:  Temporary lanes closures are possible for the installation of safety improvements on State Route 196 in Fayette County.  A flagman will be on site to direct traffic when the new signs are being installed.

FAYETTE and SHELBY COUNTY, (SR-385) Future I-269:  Construction of I-269 from the interchange with State Route 385 to the Mississippi State line.  The project intersects with US 72 (State Route 86) in the area of the Mann Road intersection.  State Route 86 is reduced to one lane in each direction for bridge construction in the median.  Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway from the construction zone and also crossing the roadway.

GIBSON COUNTY, SR-104:  A widening project from west of State Route 188 to Milligan Lane and Gumwoods Road will result in temporary lane closures each day.  Traffic has been shifted from east of State Route 188 to the proposed eastbound lanes.

GIBSON COUNTY, SR-152:  Temporary lane closures each day for resurfacing beginning at the WTNN Railroad to the Madison County line.

GIBSON COUNTY, SR-366:  Temporary lane closures each day for resurfacing beginning north of State Route 5 (Viking Drive to (US-70A/79) State Route 76.  Traffic is reduced to one lane with flagmen.

HARDEMAN COUNTY, SR-18:  Construction of a concrete box beam bridge and paving on State Route 18 over Cypress Creek.  Wednesday December 18 through Wednesday December 25:  There will be lane closures north and southbound with a temporary signal in place.  One lane will remain open, in each direction. 

HAYWOOD COUNTY,  I-40:  Construction for the West Tennessee Solar Farm and Welcome Center, including removal of Albright Road bridge. Wednesday December 18 through Wednesday December 25:  There are no scheduled closures.

HAYWOOD COUNTY,  I-40:  Construction at the intersection of State Route 76 & I-40 at the weigh station ramps. Friday December 20 through Monday December 23, 8:00 p. m.-6:00 a.m.:  There will be temporary lane closures eastbound & westbound (Exit 56), for removal of portable barrier rail and the opening of the ramps.  THP will assist with traffic control.

HAYWOOD COUNTY,  SR-54:  The City of Brownsville plans to close the downtown square starting Friday night December 20 through Monday morning December 23, to repair the damage to the concrete and brick pattern crosswalks around the square.  This will involve State Route 54 at/ around log mile 12.72 and State Route19 at/around log Mile 13.02.  Detoured route will be posted.

HENDERSON COUNTY, SR-20:  A widening project on State Route 20 (US-412) from State Route 114 to the Decatur County Line.  All lanes (new and existing) and adjacent side roads are now OPEN.  Ongoing work could cause temporary lane closures throughout project.  Flagmen are present.

LAKE COUNTY, SR-22:  A widening project on State Route 22, south of State Route 21 in Tiptonville to existing State Route 22 (Cates Landing Rd.).  There are lane shifts throughout the project.  State Route 22 is closed from intersection of State Route 212 and Vaughn Road North to Cates Landing Road. Detour 3.5 miles on Vaughn Road to State Route 22 Cates Landing Road.

LAUDERDALE COUNTY, SR-3:  Bridge Repair (2) on US-51 (State Route 3) over Chambers Branch.  Traffic is reduced to one lane with a 10’ 6” lane restriction.  Speed limit has been reduced to 55 MPH.

LAUDERDALE COUNTY, SR-208:  A widening project on State Route 208 (State Route 209/Cleveland Street) beginning at State Route 209 (Washington Street) and extending to State Route 208 at US-51/State Route 3 in Ripley.  There will be temporary lane closures daily.

MADISON COUNTY, SR-1:  Temporary lane closures each day for resurfacing beginning at State Route 223 to State Route 186.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-55:  The I-55 Welcome Center is CLOSED due to construction of a new facility.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40 Bridge over MS River Phase 8: Wednesday December 18 through Wednesday December 25:  The left (inside) shoulder of the exit ramp for westbound Interstate 40 to Second Street, will be closed for about six months.  Effective Wednesday, November 20, the right lane (entrance ramp from Front Street to Westbound I-40) from will be REOPENED.  The exit ramp from Westbound I-40 to Riverside Drive) has been narrowed to 14 feet (a small portion of the left shoulder and lane is blocked) and “wide loads” are restricted from using this.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40 Bridge over MS River Phase 9: Wednesday December 18 through Wednesday December 25:  Contractor has closed the outer most lane of the eastbound side of Interstate 40 and the closure will be removed Friday December 20, 2013. The closure is required for safe access and egress for seismic retrofit on the Arkansas approach of the Hernando DeSoto Bridge.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40 Memphis Smartway Transportation (ITS) I-40 beginning at SR-177 (Germantown Road) in Shelby County extending to Braden Road Overpass in Fayette County: Wednesday December 11 through Wednesday December 18There are no scheduled closures.

SHELBY COUNTY-Annual Preventative and Unscheduled Maintenance of the Memphis I. T. S. System Equipment, including the TMC  Wednesday December 18 through Friday December 20, 9:00 a. m.-4:00 p. m.:  There will be temporary lane closures I-40 westbound between mile markers 0.3-0.0 on Mississippi River Bridge, for the purpose of preventative and unscheduled maintenance activities on cameras and wireless communication devices.  Two lanes will remain open, one lane closed.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40 westbound over Levee Road: Wednesday December 18 through Wednesday December 25The westbound shoulder is closed. Levee Road between Thomas Street (State Route 3) and N. Bellevue Blvd. will be CLOSED during construction.  Detour route is posted.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-240 North of SR-385 to North of Walnut Grove Rd.: Wednesday December 18 through Wednesday December 25A widening project on I-240 will cause temporary lane closures. Traffic has been moved to temporary ramps at the Walnut Grove interchange.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40/I-240 Phase 2 Interchange Improvements Wednesday December 11 through Wednesday December 18:  Modification of the I-40/I-240 interchange.  There are no scheduled closures.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-14 (US-61):  A replacement of the bridge over Illinois Central Railroad from South Parkway to McLemore Avenue.  Roadway is CLOSED, a detour route is posted.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-86 (US-72):  Construction on State Route 86 (US-72) for a widening project north of Quinn Road to State Route 57 (Poplar Avenue) in Collierville. Traffic is reduced to one lane in each direction.  South Rowlett Street is closed to through traffic in the vicinity of the State Route 86 bridge over the Norfolk Southern Railroad.  Motorists may use Wilson Street to Harris Street as a detour.

SHELBY COUNTY, -Grade, drain, pave SR-177 (Germantown Rd); Crestridge Rd to Stout Rd: Wednesday December 18 through Monday December 23:  There will be intermittent lane closures on State Route 177 (Germantown Road), between Germantown City Limits (LM-1.65) to Stout Road (LM-2.40).  Flagmen will be utilized during these closures to ensure safety from oncoming traffic and construction equipment.  The closures will be intermittent and for as short a time as possible.

SHELBY COUNTY, -Resurfacing on SR-385 beginning at SR-175 (Byhalia Road) overhead bridge LM-12.51 and extending to west of the bridge over US-72 (SR-86) LM-14.36

Wednesday December 18 through Monday December 23State Route 385 there will be possible temporary lane closures in each direction at the bridge over State Route 175 (Byhalia Rd.).  The contractor will be performing clean up and punch list items.  One lane of traffic will remain open in each direction.

SHELBY and FAYETTE COUNTY, (I-269) SR 385:  Construction on State Route 385 from State Route 57 Poplar Ave. in Piperton to State Route 193 Macon Rd. in Fisherville.  Trucks may be entering the highway in the area of State Route 193 (Macon Road) and State Route 385 intersection.

Wednesday December 18 through Monday December 23, 8:00 a. m.-4:30 p. m.:  State Route 385 will be down to one lane in each direction for the installation of signs.  One lane of traffic will remain open in each direction.

TDOT REGION 4, On-Call Pavement Repair  Wednesday December 18 through Wednesday December 25:  There are no scheduled closures.

TDOT REGION 4, On-Call Retracing of Pavement Marking with Paint Wednesday December 18 through Wednesday December 25:  There are no scheduled closures.

TDOT REGION 4, On-Call Guardrail:  Monday December 18 through Wednesday December 20, 8:00 p. m.-6: a. m.:  There will be night time lane closures at the following locations, to repair damaged guardrail.
I-40, Madison/Haywood Counties, eastbound & westbound (MM 46.0 to MM 83.5), one lane will remain open.  Also, this will include a temporary ramp closure at the I-40 eastbound “On” ramp @ Exit 82 and the westbound “Off” ramp at Exit 68.

TDOT MAINTENANCE: Wednesday December 18 through Friday December 20, 9:00 a. m.-4:00 p. m.:  There will be possible lane closures at various locations in Region IV in order to patch potholes on an as needed basis.

Monday December 23, 9:00 a. m.-4:00 p. m.:  There will be possible lane closures at various locations in Region IV in order to patch potholes on an as needed basis.

WEAKLEY COUNTY, SR-89:  Temporary lane closures each day for the installation of a flashing beacon at the intersection of State Route 239 in Dresden.  Flagmen will be present.
