Henning - The Department of Correction is now hiring Correctional Officers at the West Tennessee State Penitentiary in Henning.  A job fair will be held next month for candidates interested in a career in law enforcement and in assisting in the mission of operating safe and secure prisons.  Potential candidates will be able to apply for positions at the prison on Saturday, March 2 and take part in a tour of the facility.

"The TDOC is made up of a team of professionals who work hard every day to help keep Tennesseans safe," Commissioner Derrick Schofield said.  "We want the best and brightest to join our team and assist us in making Tennessee a safer place to live, work and go to school."
