TDOT Commissioner to Speak on Future of U.S. 27 in Chattanooga, Hamilton County

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – TDOT Commissioner John Schroer will visit with local officials on-site near the U.S. 27 project in Chattanooga, Tennessee to discuss the future of the U.S. 27 corridor.  Media are invited to attend.

Commissioner Schroer will be near the current U.S. 27 project at the River Point Condominiums on Whitehall Road on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 beginning at 2:00 p.m. EDT.

Where: River Point Condominiums at 554 Whitehall Rd. in Chattanooga
             (directions below)

Directions:  From North Chattanooga take Cherokee Blvd. to E. Frontage Rd. (just past the Cherokee Motel). Take a left onto E. Frontage Road and an immediate right onto E. Elmwood Drive.  (This road is currently down to one lane and signal controlled.)  After passing under U.S. 27 take the first left onto Whitehall Rd. to River Point Condominiums at the top of the hill on the left.  Take the second entrance at the water feature sign and bear right to the bluff overlooking the U.S. 27 project. From Red Bank, you will take a right onto E. Frontage Rd. just prior to the Cherokee Motel.
