DAVIDSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from Trinity Lane to Dickerson Rd.

  • No lane closures this week

DAVIDSON COUNTY, I-440 Eastbound from I-65 to I-24

  • No lane closures this week.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Construction on Gallatin Rd. over the CSX Railroad

  • From now through March 2013, Gallatin Rd. will be reduced to one lane in each direction in this area.
  • Thursday April 18 through Wednesday April 24, 9AM-3PM, There will be a one lane closure on One Mile Pkwy. in order to perform storm drain work.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-24 from I-440 to Haywood Lane

  • Thursday April 18 through Wednesday April 24, 8PM-6AM, (excluding Saturday), The inside lane of I-24 eastbound and westbound will be closed in order to mill and pave the roadway.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 254 (Bell Rd.) from Blue Hole Rd. to Murfreesboro Rd. Including Bridge Deck Repair

  • Thursday April 18 through Wednesday April 24, 9PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on Bell Rd. in order to mill and pave the roadway and install loop wire.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Repair of the I-24 (Silliman Evans) Bridge over Nashville & Eastern Railroad

  • Thursday April 18 through Wednesday April 24, 8PM-6AM, (excluding weekends), There will be one lane closed on I-40 westbound in order to touch up paint.
  • Friday April 19, 8PM through Monday April 22, 6AM, The right lane of I-40 westbound will be closed under I-24 in order to sandblast and prime the Silliman Evans Bridge.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Repair on 3rd Ave. over I-65

  • From now through April 2013, Third Ave. Bridge will be reduced to one lane.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Construction on Dickerson Rd. over Dry Creek

  • From now through April 2013, Dickerson Rd. will be reduced to one lane in each direction from Dry Creek Rd. to Robert Cartwright Dr. in Goodlettsville (LM 22.09).

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Repair on Lebanon Road over Browns Creek

  • Saturday April 20, 6AM-6PM, There will be alternating lane closures on Lebanon Rd. in order to pave and stripe the roadway.  One lane will remain open in each direction.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 12 from Briley Pkwy, to the Cheatham Co. Line

  • Thursday April 18 through Wednesday April 24, 8PM-6AM, (excluding Friday and Saturday), There will be alternating lane closures for paving operations.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Installation of Overhead Sign on I-40 W Near Donelson Pike

  • Thursday April 18, 9PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 eastbound and westbound near the Donelson Pike Exit in order to perform survey work for the sign structure design.  Three lanes will remain open.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Construction on SR 397 (Mack Hatcher Pkwy) South of SR 96 to SR 6

  • From now through December 2013, the inside lanes of Mack Hatcher Pkwy. in both directions approximately ½  west of the Franklin Rd intersection will be closed in order to  perform median work and work on the next phase of construction.
  • Wednesday April 17 through Wednesday April 24, 9AM-3PM, There will be lane closures on Mack Hatcher Pkwy. and Franklin Rd. in order to remove concrete island, pave, and open cut a 12” water line.  Uniformed officers will be utilized.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from SR 248 to SR96

  • No lane closures this week

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, City of Franklin Construction

  • From now through November 2013, Hillsboro Road (SR 106) will be reduced from four lanes to two lanes between SR 96 and Independence Square to begin utility relocation for a sidewalk project.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, On-Call Signing

  • Wednesday April 24 through Friday April 26, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 396 (Saturn Pkwy.) from I-65 to LM 1.0 and on SR 6 from LM 31.0 to LM 32.0 in Williamson County for the installation and overlay of signs.

Performance Based Maintenance Work on I-24, I-65 and SR 840

  • Thursday April 18 through Wednesday April 24, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:
    • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
    • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
    • I-65, Williamson
  • Thursday April 18 through Wednesday April 24, 8PM-5AM, There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to repair guardrail on an as needed basis:
    • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
    • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
    • I-65, Williamson

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 268 from US 431 to US 231

  • Thursday April 18 through Wednesday April 24, 9AM-3PM and 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures in both directions in order to work on handicap ramps and guardrail pads.

HICKMAN COUNTY, Bridge Repair on I-40 over Garners Creek and Garners Creek Rd.

  • Friday April 19, 8PM through Monday April 22, 6AM, The right lane of I-40 eastbound and westbound (MM 162.0) will be closed in order to mill and pave the shoulder for a future traffic shift.
  • Monday April 22, 8PM-6AM, The right lane of I-40 eastbound and westbound (MM 162.0) will be closed in order to mill and pave the shoulder for a future traffic shift.

MAURY COUNTY, Bridge Construction on SR 50 over I-65

  • From now through June 2013, SR 50 will be reduced to one lane in this area due to repair of the bridge.  Signalization is in place.
  • Thursday April 18 through Wednesday April 24, 8PM-6AM, (excluding Saturday and Sunday), There will be alternating lane closures on I-65 northbound and southbound at MM 37.0 in order to perform overhead bridge work sandblasting and painting beams.
  • Friday April 19, 8PM through Monday April 22, 6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-65 northbound and southbound at MM 37.0 in order to perform overhead bridge work sandblasting and painting beams.

MARSHALL COUNTY, Resurfacing on I65 from the Giles Co. line to the Maury Co. line

  • Thursday April 18 through Wednesday April 24, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-65 southbound between MM 22.0 and MM 35.0 for milling and paving operations.  One lane will remain open.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Resurfacing and Bridge Deck Repair on I-24 from SR 76 to the Robertson Co. Line

  • Wednesday April 17 and Thursday April 18, 8PM-6AM, There will be one lane closures on I-24 eastbound and westbound at MM 15.0 in order to mill the roadway at the bridge.
  • Friday April 19, 8PM through Sunday April 21, 6PM, There will be one lane closures on I-24 eastbound and westbound around LM 15.00 in order to pour concrete on bridge parapet rails.
  • Monday April 22 through Wednesday April 24, 8PM-6AM, There will be one lane closures on I-24 eastbound and westbound around LM 15.00 in order to perform bridge deck repair.

WILSON COUNTY, I-40 Widening from Central Pike to East of SR 109

  • Thursday April 18 through Wednesday April 24, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 eastbound and westbound for traffic shift operations.  One lane will remain open in each direction.

WILSON & SUMNER COUNTIES, Bridge Construction on SR 109 over the Cumberland River

  • Thursday April 18 through Wednesday April 24, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 109 northbound and southbound for utility line relocation work and to patch existing pavement.

 

TDOT Maintenance:

Middle Tennessee

  • Thursday April 18 through Wednesday April 24, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekends), There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:

 

  • I-24 Cheatham, Davidson, Montgomery and Robertson Counties
  • I-65 Davidson, Robertson, Williamson Counties
  • I-40 Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Hickman, Humphreys Counties

Davidson County

  • Thursday April 18 through Wednesday April 24, 9AM-3PM and 7PM-1AM, (excluding weekends), There will be various shoulder closures in Davidson County for rock removal on all interstates.  All lanes will remain open. 
  • Thursday April 18 through Wednesday April 24, April 3, 8PM-1AM, (excluding weekends), There will be alternating lane closures on various state routes for crack sealing.  One lane will remain open.  

Williamson County

  • Monday April 22 and Tuesday April 23, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 840 near MM 9, 10, and 17 in order to repair pavement.

Cheatham, Montgomery and Robertson Counties

  • Thursday April 18 through Wednesday April 24, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekends), There will be periodic lane closures in both directions on I-24 from the 0 mile marker to the 32 mile marker in order to spray guardrails for vegetation control.  This will be a moving operation.  

Robertson and Sumner Counties

  • Thursday April 18 through Wednesday April 24, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekends), There will be periodic lane closures in both directions on I-65 from the 97.71 mile marker to the 121.47 mile marker in order to spray guardrails for vegetation control.  This will be a moving operation.  

TDOT Bridge Repair:

Davidson County

  • Monday April 22, 9AM-3PM, The right lane will be closed on State Route 155 (Briley Parkway) westbound between Exit 12: Opryland Hotel Convention Center/Music Valley Dr./McGavock Dr. and Exit 14A: Gallatin Pike/Madison for bridge inspection.  Three lanes will remain open.   

TDOT Utilities:

  • Sunday April 21, 7AM- 3PM, There will be rolling road blocks on I-65 northbound and southbound in Robertson County in order for Comcast to pull lines across the Interstate.
  • Sunday April 21, 7AM-10AM, There will be rolling roadblocks on I-65 northbound and southbound in Maury County (MM 50.2) in order for AT&T to pull a line across the Interstate.
  • Wednesday April 17 through Friday April 19, 9AM-3PM, There will be lane closures on SR 258 (New Shackle Island Rd.)  in order to mill and pave. (Hendersonville Utility Dept.)

TDOT Survey:

Davidson County

  • Thursday April 18 through Wednesday April 24, 9AM-3PM, The outside shoulder on I-40/I-65 will be closed between the eastern side of the 8th Avenue Bridge and 500’ North of the Jefferson Street overpass for survey work.  All lanes of traffic will remain open.

TDOT Local Programs:

  • Thursday April 18 through Wednesday April 24, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 386 eastbound and westbound (Vietnam Veterans Pkwy.) in order to demo the parapet.
