DAVIDSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from Trinity Lane to Dickerson Rd.

  • No lane closures this week

DAVIDSON COUNTY, I-440 Eastbound from I-65 to I-24

  • No lane closures this week.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Construction on Gallatin Rd. over the CSX Railroad

  • From now through June 2013, Gallatin Rd. will be reduced to one lane in each direction in this area.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-24 from I-440 to Haywood Lane

  • Thursday May 9 through Wednesday May 15, 8PM-6AM, (excluding Saturday), There will be alternating lane closures on I-24 eastbound and westbound in order to pave the roadway.
  • Thursday May 9 through Wednesday May 15, 9AM-3PM, Traffic on the ramps at Harding Place will be shifted to make concrete repairs. All ramps will remain open.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 254 (Bell Rd.) from Blue Hole Rd. to Murfreesboro Rd. Including Bridge Deck Repair

  • Thursday May 9 through Wednesday May 15, 9PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on Bell Rd. in order to pave the roadway and installing permanent striping.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 12 from Briley Pkwy, to the Cheatham Co. Line

  • Thursday May 9 and Monday May 13 through Wednesday May 15, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures in order to install permanent pavement markings.
  • Friday May 10, 8PM through Monday May 13, 6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 12 for bridge deck repairs.

HICKMAN COUNTY, Bridge Repair on I-40 over Garners Creek and Garners Creek Rd.

  • Friday May 10, 8PM through Monday May 13, 6AM, There will be one lane closed of I-40 eastbound (MM 162.0) in order to work on the bridge approach and repair the bridge deck and parapet.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Construction on SR 397 (Mack Hatcher Pkwy) South of SR 96 to SR 6

  • From now through December 2013, the inside lanes of Mack Hatcher Pkwy. in both directions approximately ½  west of the Franklin Rd intersection will be closed in order to  perform median work and work on the next phase of construction.
  • Thursday May 9 through Wednesday May 15, 9AM-3PM, There will be lane closures at the intersection of SR 96 and Mack Hatcher Pkwy. for utility work.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, City of Franklin Construction

  • From now through November 2013, Hillsboro Road (SR 106) will be reduced from four lanes to two lanes between SR 96 and Independence Square to begin utility relocation for a sidewalk project.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, On Call Pavement Marking

  • Wednesday May 1 through Monday May 6, 9PM-6AM, There will be temporary lane closures for the striping of various intersections in Williamson County on SR 96.
  • Tuesday May 7 and Wednesday May 8, 9PM-6AM, There will be temporary lane closures for the striping of various intersections in Williamson County on SR 100.

Performance Based Maintenance Work on I-24, I-65 and SR 840

  • Thursday May 9 through Wednesday May 15, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:
    • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
    • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
    • I-65, Williamson
  • Thursday May 9 through Wednesday May 15, 8PM-5AM, There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to repair guardrail on an as needed basis:
    • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
    • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
    • I-65, Williamson
  • Thursday May 9, 8PM-2AM, There will be rolling work zones on I-24 eastbound and westbound from MM 63.1 through MM 82 in the left lane and shoulder for grate and wall cleaning.

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 268 from US 431 to US 231

  • Thursday May 9 through Wednesday May 15, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures in both directions in order to work on signals, adjust castings, and to mill the roadway.
  • Thursday May 9 through Wednesday May 15, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures in both directions in order to pave the roadway.

MAURY COUNTY, Bridge Construction on SR 50 over I-65

  • From now through June 2013, SR 50 will be reduced to one lane in this area due to repair of the bridge.  Signalization is in place.

MARSHALL COUNTY, Resurfacing on I65 from the Giles Co. line to the Maury Co. line

  • Thursday May 9 through Wednesday May 15, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-65 southbound between MM 22.0 and MM 35.0 for milling and paving operations and loop installation.  One lane will remain open.
  • Friday May 10, 8PM through Monday May 13, 6AM, There will be one lane closures on I-65 northbound and southbound at MM 22.0 for bridge repair.  One lane will remain open in each direction.
  • Monday May 13 through Wednesday May 15, 8PM-6PM, Traffic on the ramps at MM 22.0, MM 27.0, and MM 32.0 will be shifted to make concrete repairs.  All ramps will remain open.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Resurfacing and Bridge Deck Repair on I-24 from SR 76 to the Robertson Co. Line

  • Thursday May 9, 8PM-6AM, There will be one lane closures on I-24 eastbound at MM 15.00 for bridge deck repair.

WILSON COUNTY, I-40 Widening from Central Pike to East of SR 109

  • Thursday May 9 through Wednesday May 15, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 eastbound and westbound for asphalt patching.  One lane will remain open in each direction.

WILSON & SUMNER COUNTIES, Bridge Construction on SR 109 over the Cumberland River

  • Thursday May 9 through Wednesday May 15, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 109 northbound and southbound for utility line relocation work.
  • Tuesday May 14 through Thursday May 16, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 109 northbound and southbound for the removal of the overhang falsework on the bridge deck.

SUMNER COUNTY, City Of Portland

  • Saturday May 11, 10AM-4PM, State Route 109 will be closed from State Route 52 to 31W at the state line for the Strawberry Festival events.  Detours and traffic control will be in place by the City of Portland.

VARIOUS STATE ROUTES; On Call Pavement Marking

  • Wednesday May 8 through Wednesday May 15, 9PM-6AM, There will be temporary lane closures for the striping of various intersections in Williamson County on SR 100.

TDOT Maintenance:

Middle Tennessee

  • Thursday May 9 through Wednesday May 15, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekends), There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:
  • I-24 Cheatham, Davidson, Montgomery and Robertson Counties
  • I-65 Davidson, Robertson, Williamson Counties
  • I-40 Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Hickman, Humphreys Counties

Davidson County

  • Thursday May 9 through Wednesday May 15, 9AM-3PM and 7PM-1AM, (excluding weekends), There will be various shoulder closures in Davidson County for rock removal on all interstates.  All lanes will remain open.   
  • Thursday May 9 through Wednesday May 15, 8PM-1AM, (excluding weekends), There will be alternating lane closures on various state routes for crack sealing.  One lane will remain open.  
  • Thursday May 9, 8PM-1AM, The eastbound on ramp from Murfreesboro Road (log mile 20.94) to I-440 westbound and I-24 eastbound will be closed for milling and paving.  There will be detours and message boards giving alternate routes.

TDOT Utilities, Maury County

  • Sunday May 12, 7AM-10AM, There will be rolling road blocks on I-65 northbound and southbound at MM 50.0 in Maury County in order to remove a wire from over the Interstate.
