June 13th – 19th, 2013

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from Trinity Lane to Dickerson Rd.

  • From now through July 20, Ewing Lane and a portion of Hillhurst will be closed and detours will be in place to allow excavation of the roadway under I-65.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, I-440 Eastbound from I-65 to I-24

  • Thursday June 13, 8PM-5AM, There will be lane closures on I-440 eastbound in order to saw cut the concrete pavement.  Also, the ramp from Nolensville Rd. southbound to I-440 eastbound will be closed.
  • Friday June 14, 8PM through Monday June 17, 5AM, The left lane of I-440 eastbound will be closed in order to remove and replace concrete pavement. Also, the ramp from Nolensville Rd. southbound to I-440 eastbound will be closed.
  • Monday June 17 through Wednesday June 19, 8PM-5AM, There will be lane closures on I-440 eastbound for concrete sawing.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Construction on Gallatin Rd. over the CSX Railroad

  • From now through December 2013, Gallatin Rd. will be reduced to one lane in each direction in this area.
  • Thursday June 13 and Friday June 14, 9AM-3PM, There will be one lane closed on One Mile Pkwy. in order to remove the plates from the roadway and patch with asphalt.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Construction on Battery Lane over West Fork Browns Creek

  • From now through August 31, Battery Lane will be closed for bridge replacement.  Detours will be in-place. 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-24 from I-440 to Haywood Lane

  • Thursday June 13 and Friday June 14, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-24 westbound in order to install permanent striping and pavement markers.
  • Monday June 17 and Tuesday June 18, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-24 westbound and eastbound in order to install permanent striping and pavement markers.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 12 from Briley Pkwy, to the Cheatham Co. Line

  • Saturday June 15, 8AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 12 in order to perform joint repairs.

DAVIDSON & SUMNER COUNTIES, Bridge Construction on US 41 (Dickerson Pike) over Mansker Creek

  • Thursday June 13 through Tuesday June 18, 9AM-3PM, (excluding Saturday and Sunday), There will be alternating lane closures on Dickerson Pike in order to pave the roadway.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, ITS Maintenance

  • Wednesday June 12 and Thursday June 13, 8:30PM-10PM, The left lane of Briley Pkwy. at MM 17.3 will be closed in order to repair a camera.
  • Wednesday June 12 and Thursday June 13, 10:30PM-12 Midnight, There will be a right lane closure from the ramp of I-24 eastbound to Briley Pkwy. at MM 43.5 in order to repair a camera.

Performance Based Maintenance Work on I-24, I-65 and SR 840

  • Thursday June 13 through Wednesday June 19, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:
  • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
  • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
  • I-65, Williamson
  • Thursday June 13 through Wednesday June 19, 8PM-5AM, There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to repair guardrail on an as needed basis:
  • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
  • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
  • I-65, Williamson
  • Tuesday June 18, 8PM-10PM, The left lane of I-24 eastbound and westbound will be closed at MM 67.0 in order to replace HOV signs.

HICKMAN COUNTY, Bridge Repair on I-40 over Garners Creek and Garners Creek Rd.

  • Friday June 14, 8PM through Monday June 17, 6AM, There will be one lane closed of I-40 westbound (MM 162.0) in order to work on the bridge.

GILES COUNTY, Joint Sealing on I-65 from US 64 (MM 14) to SR 22 (US 31A) (MM 22)

  • Thursday June 13 and Friday June 14, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-65 northbound and southbound in order to seal centerline joints.

MARSHALL COUNTY, Resurfacing on I65 from the Giles Co. line to the Maury Co. line

  • Sunday June 16 through Wednesday June 19,8PM-6AM, There will be one lane closures on I-65 northbound and southbound between MM 22.0 and MM 35.0 for paving operations.  There will be two contractors working simultaneous in both directions.  One lane will remain open in each direction.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Resurfacing and Bridge Deck Repair on I-24 from SR 76 to the Robertson Co. Line

  • Thursday June 13 through Wednesday June 19, 8PM-6AM, (excluding weekends), There will be alternating one lane closures on I-24 eastbound and westbound in order to pave the roadway. Also, on Thursday June 13, traffic will be shifted on the ramp at exit 11.0 for concrete repairs.
  • Saturday June 15 and Sunday June 16, 6AM-6PM There will be alternating one lane closures on I-24 eastbound and westbound in order to texture coat the parapet on the bridge at MM 15.0.

SMITH COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-40 beginning at Smith/Wilson County line to exit 258 (Smith County)

  • Thursday June 13 through Wednesday June 19 (excluding Saturday and Sunday), 8PM-6AM, There will be lane closures on I-40 eastbound and westbound for asphalt milling and paving operations.
  • Friday June 14, 8PM through Monday June 17, 6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 in both directions in order to perform bridge deck repairs.

SUMNER COUNTY, Cable Barrier Repair

  • Wednesday June 12 and Thursday June 13, 8PM-6AM, There will be one lane closed on SR 386 (Vietnam Veterans Pkwy.) eastbound at MM 11.6 in order to repair cable guardrail.

WILSON COUNTY, I-40 Widening from Central Pike to East of SR 109

  • Thursday June 13 through Wednesday June 19, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 eastbound and westbound for asphalt patching and placement of barrier rail.  One lane will remain open in each direction.

WILSON & SUMNER COUNTIES, Bridge Construction on SR 109 over the Cumberland River

  • Thursday June 13 through Wednesday June 19, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 109 northbound and southbound for utility line relocation work.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Construction on SR 397 (Mack Hatcher Pkwy) South of SR 96 to SR 6

  • From now through December 2013, The inside lanes of Mack Hatcher Pkwy. in both directions approximately ½  west of the Franklin Rd intersection will be closed in order to  perform median work and work on the next phase of construction.
  • Thursday June 13 through Wednesday June 19, 9AM-3PM, There will be lane closures at the intersection of SR 96 and Mack Hatcher Pkwy. for utility work.
  • Thursday June 13 through Wednesday June 19, 9AM-3PM, There will be lane closures on the west side of Liberty Pike in order to work on sidewalks.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 253 from US 31 (SR 6) to SR 252 (Wilson Pike) including Bridge Deck Repair

  • Thursday June 13 through Wednesday June 19, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures in order to work on handicap ramps, sidewalks, and to mill the roadway.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, City of Franklin Construction

  • From now through November 2013, Hillsboro Road (SR 106) will be reduced from four lanes to two lanes between SR 96 and Independence Square to begin utility relocation for a sidewalk project.

TDOT Maintenance:

Middle Tennessee

  • Thursday, June 13 through Wednesday, June 19, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekends), There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:
  • I-24 Cheatham, Davidson, Montgomery and Robertson Counties
  • I-65 Davidson, Robertson, Williamson Counties
  • I-40 Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Hickman, Humphreys Counties

DAVIDSON COUNTY

  • Thursday June 13 through Wednesday June 19, 9AM-3PM and 7PM-1AM, (excluding weekends), There will be various shoulder closures in Davidson County for rock removal on all interstates.  All lanes will remain open.   
  • Thursday June 13 through Wednesday June 19, 8PM-1AM, (excluding weekends), There will be alternating lane closures on various state routes for crack sealing.  One lane will remain open.
  • Thursday, June 13 and Tuesday, June 18 through Wednesday, June 19, 9AM-3PM, and 8PM-5AM, There will be mobile operations in various locations in Davidson County for Drain Cleaning Operations.  This will affect the shoulders or inside and outside lanes.
  • Thursday June 13 and Tuesday June 18, 7PM-1AM, (excluding weekends), There will be alternating lane closures in both directions on State Route 155 (Briley Parkway) between mile marker 20 and mile marker 26 for milling and paving.  One lane will remain open.  

HOUSTON AND STEWART COUNTIES

  • Monday June 17 and Tuesday June 18, SR046 will be closed in both directions from Log Mile 5.28 (Intersection of SR013) in Houston County to Log Mile 1.2 (Intersection of SR149) in Stewart County to replace culverts at the 5.64 Log Mile in Houston County. The road will remain open for Local Traffic Only.   

MONTGOMERY COUNTY

  • Thursday June 13 through Wednesday June 19, 9AM-3PM, There will be intermittent lane closures in both directions on State Route 374 between mile marker 2.0 and mile marker 3.0 for milling, paving, and striping roadway.  This work will be done by Floating Maintenance.  

ROBERTSON COUNTY

  • Tuesday June 11 through Friday June 28, The I-65 southbound Weigh-Station (mile marker 119.0) will be closed (No Entrance) for repair to the concrete and for milling, paving and striping the roadway at the scales.  This work will be done by Floating Maintenance and LoJac Enterprises.  

TDOT Bridge Repair:

  • Tuesday June 18, 8PM-2AM, I-65 northbound and southbound at Rivergate Pkwy. will be reduced to one lane for bridge inspection.
  • Wednesday June 19, 8PM-2AM, I-65 northbound from Long Hollow Pike to Mansker Creek will be reduced to one lane for bridge inspection of three bridges.
  • Thursday June 20, 8PM-2AM, I-65 southbound from Long Hollow Pike to Mansker Creek will be reduced to one lane for bridge inspection of three bridges.

TDOT Local Programs

  • Monday June 17 through Friday June 21, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 386 at Indian Lake Blvd. in order to paint the bridge, pour parapet, and pave.

TDOT Traffic Office

  • From now through July 15, 5AM-3PM, There will be a full lane closure of the outside westbound (outbound) lane of SR 100 at Vaughn’s Gap for emergency work on the railroad.  Three lanes will remain open.
