CHEATHAM COUNTY, Bridge Construction on SR 251 (River Rd.) Over Sam’s Creek

  • Monday July 8, 10AM-3PM, There will be temporary traffic stops (10-15 minutes in duration) on SR 251 in order to set bridge beams.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from Trinity Lane to Dickerson Rd.

  • From now through July 20, Ewing Lane and a portion of Hillhurst will be closed and detours will be in place to allow excavation of the roadway under I-65.
  • Monday July 8 through Wednesday July 10, 10AM-2PM, There will be rolling roadblocks on I-65 southbound between Dickerson Rd. and Exit 88 (I-24 ramp) in order to blast.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, I-440 Eastbound from I-65 to I-24

  • No lane closures this week.
  • Looking Ahead:
  • Friday July 12, 8PM through Monday July 15, 5AM, I-440 eastbound will be closed from the I-65 junction to the I-24 junction including the on and off ramps at Nolensville Rd. in order to perform concrete repairs.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Construction on Gallatin Rd. over the CSX Railroad

  • From now through December 2013, Gallatin Rd. will be reduced to one lane in each direction in this area.
  • Monday July 8 through Wednesday July 10, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on 1 mile Parkway to repair and pave the roadway.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Construction on Battery Lane over West Fork Browns Creek

  • From now through August 31, Battery Lane will be closed for bridge replacement.  Detours will be in-place. 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-24 from I-440 to Haywood Lane

  • No lane closures this week

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 12 from Briley Pkwy, to the Cheatham Co. Line

  • No lane closures this week

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 386 (Vietnam Vets Blvd) From I-65 to Conference Drive

  • Monday July 8 through Wednesday July 10, 9PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 386 for removal of the snowplowable markers and paving the roadway.
  • Tuesday, July 9, 9AM-3PM, and 9PM-5AM, The Vietnam Veteran's Parkway westbound ramp to I-65 southbound will be reduced to one lane for milling.  One lane will remain open.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 1 (Murfreesboro Rd) from Rural Hill Rd to Rutherford Co Line

  • Monday July 8 through Wednesday July 10, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 1 for degrassing the shoulders and milling the roadway.

Performance Based Maintenance Work on I-24, I-65 and SR 840

  • Monday July 8 through Wednesday July 10, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:
  • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
  • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
  • I-65, Williamson
  • Monday July 8 through Wednesday July 10, 8PM-5AM, There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to repair guardrail on an as needed basis:
  • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
  • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
  • I-65, Williamson

MARSHALL COUNTY, Resurfacing on I65 from the Giles Co. line to the Maury Co. line

  • Monday July 8 through Wednesday July 10, 8PM-6AM, There will be one lane closures on I-65 northbound and southbound between MM 22.0 and MM 35.0 in order to install permanent striping and snowplowable markers.  One lane will remain open in each direction.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Resurfacing and Bridge Deck Repair on I-24 from SR 76 to the Robertson Co. Line

  • Monday July 8 and Tuesday July 9, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating one lane closures on I-24 eastbound and westbound in order to install permanent striping.

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 268 from US 431 to US 231

  • Monday July 8 through Wednesday July 10, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures in both directions in order to stripe the roadway.

SMITH COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-40 beginning at Smith/Wilson County line to exit 258 (Smith County)

  • Monday July 8 through Wednesday July 10, 8PM-6AM, There will be lane closures on I-40 eastbound and westbound for paving operations.

WILSON COUNTY, I-40 Widening from Central Pike to East of SR 109

  • Monday July 8 through Tuesday July 9, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 eastbound and westbound for milling the roadway and shifting traffic.  One lane will remain open in each direction.

WILSON & SUMNER COUNTIES, Bridge Construction on SR 109 over the Cumberland River

  • Monday July 8 and Tuesday July 9, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 109 northbound and southbound for utility line relocation work.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Construction on SR 397 (Mack Hatcher Pkwy) South of SR 96 to SR 6

  • From now through December 2013, The inside lanes of Mack Hatcher Pkwy. in both directions approximately ½  west of the Franklin Rd intersection will be closed in order to  perform median work and work on the next phase of construction.
  • Monday July 8 through Wednesday July 10, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on Liberty Pike for sidewalk and pipe work.
  • Monday July 8 through Wednesday July 10, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures at SR 96/Mack Hatcher and Mack Hatcher/Cool Spring Blvd intersections to pave for traffic shift.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 253(Concord Rd.) from US 31 (SR 6) to SR 252 (Wilson Pike) including Bridge Deck Repair

  • Monday July 8 through Wednesday July 10, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures in order to mill the roadway and install traffic loops.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, City of Franklin Construction

  • From now through November 2013, Hillsboro Road (SR 106) will be reduced from four lanes to two lanes between SR 96 and Independence Square to begin utility relocation for a sidewalk project.

  • Monday, July 8 through Wednesday, July 10, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekends), There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:
  • I-24 Cheatham, Davidson, Montgomery and Robertson Counties
  • I-65 Davidson, Robertson, Williamson Counties
  • I-40 Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Hickman, Humphreys Counties

DAVIDSON COUNTY

  • Monday, July 8 through Wednesday, July 10, 9AM-3PM and 7PM-1AM, (excluding weekends), There will be various shoulder closures in Davidson County for rock removal on all interstates.  All lanes will remain open.  (Weather permitting) 
  • Monday, July 8 through Wednesday, July 10, 8PM-1AM, (excluding weekends), There will be alternating lane closures on various state routes for crack sealing.  One lane will remain open. (Weather permitting) 
  • Tuesday, July 9, 9AM-3PM, and 8PM-5AM, There will be mobile operations in various locations on the interstates in Davidson County for Drain Cleaning Operations.  This will affect the shoulders or inside and outside lanes.
  • Tuesday, July 9, 7PM-1AM, (excluding weekends), There will be alternating lane closures in both directions on State Route 155 (Briley Parkway) between mile marker 20 and mile marker 26 for milling and paving.  One lane will remain open. (Weather permitting) 

HOUSTON COUNTY

  • Monday, July 8 through Wednesday, July 10, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on State Route 46 between the 5.0 mile marker and 6.0 mile marker in Houston County for milling and paving.  One lane will remain open. (Weather permitting) 

MONTGOMERY COUNTY

  • Monday, July 8 through Wednesday, July 10, 9AM-3PM, There will be intermittent lane closures in both directions on State Route 374 between mile marker 2.0 and mile marker 3.0 for milling, paving, and striping roadway.  This work will be done by Floating Maintenance.  (Weather permitting) 

 

TDOT Bridge Repair

Smith County

  • Monday, July 8 through Friday, July 12, 9AM-3PM, The right lane will be closed on I-40 in both directions (separate times) at mile marker 263 and mile marker 267.3 for bridge inspection.  One lane will remain open in each direction.  (Weather permitting) 

 

TDOT Traffic Office

  • From now through July 15, 5AM-3PM, There will be a full lane closure of the outside westbound (outbound) lane of SR 100 at Vaughn’s Gap for emergency work on the railroad.  Three lanes will remain open.

 

TDOT Materials & Tests

  • Wednesday, July 10, 8PM through Thursday, July 11, 5AM, State Route 109 will have one lane closed in multiple locations between Lebanon Road and Academy Road for pavement coring.  Traffic will be flagged in both directions.

Williamson County

  • Monday July 8, 8PM-5AM, There will be a moving lane closure on I-65 in Williamson County in both directions from SR258 to SR96 in order to core the roadway.

Maury County

  • Wednesday July 10, 8:30AM-3PM, There will be a lane closure on SR 7 southbound in Maury County (LM 33.42-32.42) near the Maury/Hickman County line in order to calibrate road profiling equipment.

 

City of Nashville

  • Monday July 8, 2013 thru Wednesday July 10, 2013, 9pm-5am, Traffic signal installation at Valley View Dr. @ S.R. 254 and Cloverland Dr. @ S.R. 254. Contractor to temporarily close one lane in each direction on S.R. 254 at these two intersections to locate the underground utilities for direction drilling across S.R. 254. Only (1) lane will be shut down at a time. Contractor will provide arrow board and appropriate traffic control devices during temporary lane closure. Once the underground utility has been spotted, contractor will place a road plate over pot hole and secure with cold patch until directional drilling has been completed and pot hole can be filled back in to current grade.
