DAVIDSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from Trinity Lane to Dickerson Rd.

  • From now through August 4, Ewing Lane and a portion of Hillhurst will be closed and detours will be in place to allow excavation of the roadway under I-65.
  • Thursday August 1 through Wednesday August 7, 10AM-2PM, There will be rolling roadblocks on I-65 southbound between Dickerson Rd. and Exit 88 (I-24 ramp) in order to blast.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, I-440 Eastbound from I-65 to I-24

  • Friday August 2, 8PM through Monday August 5, 5AM, I-440 eastbound will be closed from the I-65 junction to the I-24 junction including the on and off ramps at Nolensville Rd. in order to perform concrete repairs.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Construction on Gallatin Rd. over the CSX Railroad

  • From now through December 2013, Gallatin Rd. will be reduced to one lane in each direction in this area.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Construction on Battery Lane over West Fork Browns Creek

  • From now through August 31, Battery Lane will be closed for bridge replacement.  Detours will be in-place. 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 1 (Murfreesboro Rd) from Rural Hill Rd to Rutherford Co Line

  • Thursday August 1 through Wednesday August 7, 8PM-6AM, (excluding Friday and Saturday), There will be alternating lane closures on SR 1 for paving the roadway.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 255 (Donelson Pike) from SR 1 to Royal Pkwy.

  • Sunday August 4 through Wednesday August 7, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on Donelson Pike in order to degrass the shoulders and begin milling operations.

HICKMAN COUNTY, Bridge Repair on I-40 over Garners Creek and Garners Creek Rd.

  • Friday August 2, 8PM through Monday August 5, 6AM, There will be one lane closed of I-40 eastbound (MM 162.0) in order to work on the bridge approach and repair the bridge deck and parapet and paving.

Performance Based Maintenance Work on I-24, I-65 and SR 840

  • Thursday August 1st through Wednesday August 7th, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:
  • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
  • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
  • I-65, Williamson
  • Thursday August 1st through Wednesday August 7th, 8PM-5AM, There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to repair guardrail on an as needed basis:
  • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
  • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
  • I-65, Williamson

DAVIDSON AND SUMNER COUNTIES, Longitudinal Joint Stabilization on Various State Routes

  • Thursday August 1 through Wednesday August 7, 8PM-5AM, There will be moving work zones at the following locations for longitudinal joint stabilization:
  • SR174 (LM 5.85 – Davidson County Line)
  • SR174 (Sumner County Line – Long Hollow Pike)
  • SR24 (CSX Railroad – SR1)
  • SR155 (Brick Church Pike – I-24)
  • SR11 (2nd Avenue – I-40)
  • SR11 (Spring Street – Trinity Lane)
  • SR6 (Rosa Parks Blvd – Ellington Pkwy) Davidson County
  • SR1 (Murfresboro City Limits – Thompson Lane Paving Joint) Rutherford County

DAVIDSON AND RUTHERFORD COUNTIES, Nashville Smartway, ITS I-24 Expansion Project

  • Monday August 5 through Friday August 9, 9PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-24 eastbound and westbound for soil sampling (approximately between Mile Marker 57 and Mile Marker 86). Three Lanes will remain open in each direction. There will also be alternating shoulder closures on both I-24 (approximately between Mile Marker 57 and Mile Marker 86) and SR 840 for soil sampling (Approximately between Mile Marker 48 and Mile Marker 57).

SMITH/ WILSON/ SUMNER COUNTIES, Performance Based Striping

  • Tuesday July 30 through Wednesday July 31, 9AM-3PM, There will be rolling roadblocks at the following locations in order to test the striping:
  • I-40 EB & WB MM 257-267 (Smith Co.)
  • I-40 EB & WB MM 239-251 (Wilson Co.)
  • I-65 NB & SB MM 96-103 (Sumner Co.)

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Bridge Repair on Rocky Fork Rd. over I-24

  • Thursday July 25 through Wednesday July 31, 8PM-6AM, (excluding Saturday and Sunday), There will be alternating lane closures on I-24 eastbound and westbound near MM 69.0 for bridge repairs.  Two lanes will remain open in each direction.

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Bridge Repair on Epps Mill Rd. over I-24

  • No lane closures this week

SMITH COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-40 beginning at Smith/Wilson County line to exit 258

  • Thursday July 25 through Wednesday July 31 (excluding Saturday July 27), 8PM-6AM, There will be lane closures on I-40 both directions for permanent striping and delineator installation.

WILSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 171 (Mt. Juliet Rd.) from the Davidson Co. line to north of SR 265

  • Thursday August 1 through Wednesday August 7, 9AM-3PM, There will alternating lane closures on SR 171 in both directions for milling operations.

WILSON COUNTY, I-40 Widening from Central Pike to East of SR 109

  • Thursday August 1 through Wednesday August 7, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 eastbound and westbound for excavation and hauling operations.  One lane will remain open in each direction.
  • Thursday August 1 through Wednesday August 7, 9AM-2PM, There will be rolling road blocks on I-40 westbound for blasting.  Police officers will be utilized.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Signal Installation on Nolensville Rd. at Sunset Rd.

  • No lane closures this week.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Construction on SR 397 (Mack Hatcher Pkwy) South of SR 96 to SR 6

  • From now through December 2013, The inside lanes of Mack Hatcher Pkwy. in both directions approximately ½  west of the Franklin Rd intersection will be closed in order to  perform median work and work on the next phase of construction.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 253(Concord Rd.) from US 31 (SR 6) to SR 252 (Wilson Pike) including Bridge Deck Repair

  • Thursday August 1 through Wednesday August 7, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures in order to perform bridge work.
  • Friday August 2, 8PM through Monday August 5, 6AM, There will be alternating lane closures for bridge deck repair.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, City of Franklin Construction

  • From now through November 2013, Hillsboro Road (SR 106) will be reduced from four lanes to two lanes between SR 96 and Independence Square to begin utility relocation for a sidewalk project.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, City of Franklin Construction

  • Sunday August 4 through Wednesday August 7, 8PM-6AM, Wilson Pike will be closed just north of McEwen each night in order to install a water line.

 

 

TDOT Maintenance:

Middle Tennessee

  • Thursday, August 1st through Wednesday, August 7th, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekends), There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:
  • I-24 Cheatham, Davidson, Montgomery and Robertson Counties
  • I-65 Davidson, Robertson, Williamson Counties
  • I-40 Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Hickman, Humphreys Counties

CHEATHAM COUNTY

  • Thursday August 1 through Wednesday August 7, 7PM-5AM, One lane will be closed in each direction on I-40 eastbound in Cheatham County between mile marker 188 and mile marker 191 for pothole repair on the Harpeth River Bridge deck. 

DAVIDSON COUNTY

  • Thursday August 1 through Wednesday August 7, 9AM-3PM and 7PM-1AM, (excluding weekends), There will be various shoulder closures in Davidson County for rock removal on all interstates.  All lanes will remain open. 
  • Thursday August 1 through Wednesday August 7, 8PM-1AM, (excluding weekends), There will be alternating lane closures on various state routes for crack sealing.  One lane will remain open.
  • Thursday August 1 and Monday August 5 through Wednesday August 7, 9AM-3PM and 8PM-5AM, There will be mobile operations in various locations on the interstates in Davidson County for Drain Cleaning Operations.  This will affect the shoulders or inside and outside lanes.
  • Thursday August 1, 8PM-5AM, The right lane will be closed on I-65 southbound at the I-65/I-40 West split for milling and paving.  The left lane will remain open. 
  • Thursday August 1, 9PM-12AM, There will be rolling roadblocks on I-65 southbound between Exit 79/Armory Drive and Exit 74/Old Hickory Blvd. for milling bumps.   
  • Tuesday August 6, 8PM-5AM, The two left lanes will be closed on I-24 eastbound between the 47 mile marker and 49 mile marker for milling and paving.  One lane will remain open.   

HICKMAN COUNTY

  • Tuesday August 6, 6PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 westbound at mile marker 148 and also at mile marker 158.2 eastbound for spot patching.   One lane will remain open.  

MONTGOMERY COUNTY

  • Thursday August 1, 9AM-3PM, There will be intermittent lane closures in each direction on State Route 13 in Montgomery County from the 17.0 mile marker to the 18.0 mile marker in order to do bridge inspection on the Cumberland River Bridge deck.   

 

TDOT Materials & Tests

  • Monday August 5, 9AM-12 Noon, There will be a rolling lane closure on SR 254 (Bell Rd.) from Blue Hole Rd. to Murfreesboro Rd. in order to take cores from the roadway.

  • Thursday August 1 through Thursday August 8, 1PM-2PM, There will be rolling roadblocks on I-40 westbound at MM 229 (Beckwith Rd.) for blasting.
