DAVIDSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from Trinity Lane to Dickerson Rd.

  • Thursday August 22 through Wednesday August 28, 10AM-2PM, There will be rolling roadblocks on I-65 southbound between Dickerson Rd. and Exit 88 (I-24 ramp) in order to blast.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, I-440 Eastbound from I-65 to I-24

  • No lane closures this week

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Construction on Gallatin Rd. over the CSX Railroad

  • From now through December 2013, Gallatin Rd. will be reduced to one lane in each direction in this area.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Construction on Battery Lane over West Fork Browns Creek

  • From now through August 31, Battery Lane will be closed for bridge replacement.  Detours will be in-place. 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 1 (Murfreesboro Rd) from Rural Hill Rd to Rutherford Co Line

  • Thursday August 22 through Wednesday August 28, 8PM-6AM, (excluding Saturday), There will be alternating lane closures on SR 1 for paving and striping the roadway.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 255 (Donelson Pike) from SR 1 to Royal Pkwy.

  • Thursday August 22 through Wednesday August 28, 8PM-6AM, (excluding Saturday), There will be alternating lane closures on Donelson Pike in order to mill and pave the roadway.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 65 (Whites Creek Pike) from Eatons Creek to the Robertson Co. Line

  • Thursday August 22 through Wednesday August 28, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on Whites Creek Pike in order to pave the roadway.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Installation of an Overhead Sign on I-40 near Donelson Pike

  • Monday August 26 and Tuesday August 27, 9AM-3PM, The right shoulder of I-40 westbound will be closed near exit 216 will be closed to work on the sign footer.
  • Wednesday August 21 through Tuesday August 27, 9PM-6AM, (excluding Friday), The left lane of I-40 eastbound and westbound will be closed in order to remove median barrier wall for overhead sign structure footing. Three lanes will remain open.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Installation of Signal on Nolensville Rd. at the Intersection of Sunset Rd.

  • Monday August 26 through Friday August 30, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on Nolensville Rd. at Sunset Rd. in order to install guardrail.

HICKMAN COUNTY, Bridge Repair on I-40 over Garners Creek and Garners Creek Rd.

  • Thursday August 22 through Wednesday August 2, 8PM-6AM, (excluding Saturday and Sunday), There will be one lane closed of I-40 eastbound and westbound (MM 162.0) in order to work on texture coating and expansion joint repair.
  • Sunday August 25, 12:30AM through Monday August 26, 6AM, There will be one lane closed of I-40 eastbound and westbound (MM 162.0) in order to work on texture coating and expansion joint repair and striping.

 

Performance Based Maintenance Work on I-24, I-65 and SR 840

  • Thursday August 22nd through Wednesday August 28th, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:
  • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
  • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
  • I-65, Williamson
  • Thursday August 22nd through Wednesday August 28th  8PM-5AM, There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to repair guardrail on an as needed basis:
  • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
  • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
  • I-65, Williamson

 

DAVIDSON AND SUMNER COUNTIES, Longitudinal Joint Stabilization on Various State Routes

  • Thursday August 22nd through Wednesday August 28th, 8PM-5AM, There will be moving work zones at the following locations for longitudinal joint stabilization:
  • SR11 (Spring Street – Trinity Lane)
  • SR6 (Rosa Parks Blvd – Ellington Pkwy) Davidson County
  • SR1 (Murfresboro City Limits – Thompson Lane Paving Joint) Rutherford County
  • SR10 (Joint Indian Park Drive – SR1 Broad Street) Rutherford County
  • SR96 (Cason Lane-SR1) Rutherford County

MAURY COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 50 from Seavy Hight Rd. to the Marshall Co. Line

  • Thursday August 22 through Wednesday August 28, 8AM-7PM, (excluding Saturday and Sunday), There will be alternating lane closures on SR 50 for milling, paving the roadway and installation of guardrail.

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Bridge Repair on Rocky Fork Rd. over I-24

  • No lane closures this week

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Bridge Repair on Epps Mill Road over I-24

  • Friday August 23, 8PM through Monday August 26, 6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-24 Eastbound at Epps Mills Rd. (near MM 89.0) for bridge repair.  One lane will remain open.

WILSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 171 (Mt. Juliet Rd.) from the Davidson Co. line to north of SR 265

  • Thursday August 22 through Wednesday August 28, 9AM-3PM, (excluding Sunday), There will alternating lane closures on SR 171 in both directions for pavement scoring, fog sealing the shoulders and striping.

WILSON COUNTY, I-40 Widening from Central Pike to East of SR 109

  • Thursday August 22 through Wednesday August 28, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 eastbound and westbound for excavation and hauling operations.  One lane will remain open in each direction. (Lane closures will start at 10PM on the nights of the Wilson County Fair).
  • Thursday August 22 through Wednesday August 28, 9AM-2PM, There will be rolling road blocks on I-40 eastbound and westbound for blasting.  Police officers will be utilized.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on Lewisburg Pike from Les Watkins Rd. to Mack Hatcher Pkwy.

  • Thursday August 22 through Wednesday August 28, 9AM-3PM, (excluding Saturday and Sunday), There will be alternating lane closures on SR 106 in order to begin milling the roadway.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Construction on SR 397 (Mack Hatcher Pkwy) South of SR 96 to SR 6

  • From now through December 2013, The inside lanes of Mack Hatcher Pkwy. in both directions approximately ½  west of the Franklin Rd intersection will be closed in order to  perform median work and work on the next phase of construction.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 253(Concord Rd.) from US 31 (SR 6) to SR 252 (Wilson Pike) including Bridge Deck Repair

  • Thursday August 22 through Wednesday August 28, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures in order to install pavement markings on the bridge.
  • Friday August 23, 8PM through Monday August 26, 6AM, There will be alternating lane closures for bridge deck repair.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, City of Franklin Construction

  • From now through November 2013, Hillsboro Road (SR 106) will be reduced from four lanes to two lanes between SR 96 and Independence Square to begin utility relocation for a sidewalk project.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, City of Franklin Construction, (SR 252 and McEwen Drive Intersection)

  • Sunday August 25 through Tuesday August 27, 8PM-6AM, There will be a road closure on SR 252 at McEwen Dr. for the installation and connection of a waterline valve.  This closure is in conjunction with the intersection improvements at Wilson Pike/ McEwen Dr. which is being done by the City of Franklin.

 

TDOT Maintenance:

Middle Tennessee

  • Thursday, August 22nd through Wednesday, August 28th, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekends), There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:
  • I-24 Cheatham, Davidson, Montgomery and Robertson Counties
  • I-65 Davidson, Robertson, Williamson Counties
  • I-40 Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Hickman, Humphreys Counties

CHEATHAM COUNTY

  • Thursday August 22 through Wednesday August 28, 7PM-5AM, One lane will be closed in both directions on I-40 in Cheatham County between mile marker 188 and mile marker 191.4 for pothole repair on the Harpeth River Bridge deck. 

DAVIDSON COUNTY

  • Thursday August 22 through Wednesday August 28, 9AM-3PM and 7PM-1AM, (excluding weekends), There will be various shoulder closures in Davidson County for rock removal on all interstates.  All lanes will remain open. 
  • Thursday August 22 through Wednesday August 28, 8PM-1AM, (excluding weekends), There will be alternating lane closures on various state routes for crack sealing.  One lane will remain open.  
  • Thursday August 22 and Monday August 26 through Wednesday August 28, 9AM-3PM and 8PM-5AM, There will be mobile operations in various locations on the interstates in Davidson County for Drain Cleaning Operations.  This will affect the shoulders or inside and outside lanes.
  • Thursday August 22, 8PM-5AM, The on-ramp to I-65 south from I-440 eastbound will be closed for milling and paving.  Traffic will be diverted to the shoulder lane.   
  • Tuesday August 27, 8PM-5AM, The two left lanes will be closed on I-24 westbound at the I-40 eastbound junction (over Murfreesboro Road) between mile marker 51 and mile marker 52 for milling and paving.  The two right lanes will remain open.

MONTOGMERY COUNTY

  • Thursday August 22 through Wednesday August 28, 7PM-5AM, There will be intermittent lane closures on State Route 112 (U.S. 41 A - Madison Street) between mile marker 9.0 and mile marker 10.0 in order to pave and stripe the roadway.  One lane will remain open in each direction.  
  • Thursday August 22 through Wednesday August 28, 7PM-5AM, There will be intermittent lane closures on State Route 374 (Richview Road) between mile marker 0 and mile marker 1.0 in order to pave and stripe the roadway.  One lane will remain open in each direction.  

TDOT Utilities

  • Wednesday August 21 through Tuesday August 27, 9AM-3PM, The City of Franklin will have a lane closed on SR 96 in front of the Ford Dealership in order to open cut the roadway for an 8” water line tap.
  • Sunday August 25, 6AM-8AM, There will be rolling roadblock on SR 109 in Wilson County near I-40 in order for Charter Communications to install one line on an existing strand across the roadway.
