BEDFORD COUNTY, Resurfacing on US 231 (SR 10) from Moreland Ave. to SR 82 Including Bridge Deck Repair

  • Tuesday September 3 and Wednesday September 4, 6AM-6PM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 10 (US 231) in order to mill the roadway.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from Trinity Lane to Dickerson Rd.

  • Tuesday September 3 or Wednesday September 4, 10AM-2PM, There will possibly be rolling roadblocks on I-65 southbound between Dickerson Rd. and Exit 88 (I-24 ramp) in order to blast.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, I-440 Eastbound from I-65 to I-24

  • Tuesday September 3 and Wednesday September 4, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-440 eastbound in order to grind the roadway.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Construction on Gallatin Rd. over the CSX Railroad

  • From now through December 2013, Gallatin Rd. will be reduced to one lane in each direction in this area.
  • Tuesday September 3 and Wednesday September 4, 9AM-3PM, There will be temporary lane shifts on Gallatin Rd. in order to pave at the bridge.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Construction on Battery Lane over West Fork Browns Creek

  • From now through August 31, Battery Lane will be closed for bridge replacement.  Detours will be in-place. 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 1 (Murfreesboro Rd) from Rural Hill Rd to Rutherford Co Line

  • Thursday August 29 and Tuesday September 3 and Wednesday September 4, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 1 for striping the roadway.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 255 (Donelson Pike) from SR 1 to Royal Pkwy.

  • Thursday August 29 and Tuesday September 3 and Wednesday September 4, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on Donelson Pike in order to pave and stripe the roadway.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 65 (Whites Creek Pike) from Eatons Creek to the Robertson Co. Line

  • Thursday August 29 and Tuesday September 3 and Wednesday September 4, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on Whites Creek Pike in order to pave the roadway.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Installation of an Overhead Sign on I-40 near Donelson Pike

  • Thursday August 29, 9AM- 3PM, There will be a right shoulder closure westbound on I-40 near the Donelson Pike exit (exit 216) in order to drill and pour overhead sign footing.  All lanes will remain open.
  • Tuesday September 3 through Wednesday September 4, 9AM-3PM, There will be a right shoulder closure westbound on I-40 near the Donelson Pike exit (exit 216) in order to drill and pour overhead sign footing.  All lanes will remain open.
  • Wednesday August 28 through Thursday August 29, 9PM-6AM, There will be single left lane closure westbound and eastbound on I-40 near the Donelson Pike exit (exit 216) in order to remove median barrier wall for overhead sign structure footing. Three lanes will remain open.
  • Tuesday September 3 through Wednesday September 4, 9PM-6AM, There will be single left lane closure westbound and eastbound on I-40 near the Donelson Pike exit (exit 216) in order to remove median barrier wall for overhead sign structure footing. Three lanes will remain open.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Installation of Signal on Nolensville Rd. at the Intersection of Sunset Rd.

  • Tuesday September 3 and Wednesday September 4, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on Nolensville Rd. at Sunset Rd. in order to install guardrail.

DAVIDSON AND RUTHERFORD COUNTIES ,Nashville Smartway ITS I-24 Expansion Project

  • Thursday August 29 through Tuesday September 3, 9AM-3PM, (excluding holiday weekend), There will be alternating shoulder closures on both I-24 (approximately between Mile Marker 57 and Mile Marker 86) and SR 840 for soil sampling (approximately between Mile Marker 48 and Mile Marker 57).

HICKMAN COUNTY, Bridge Repair on I-40 over Garners Creek and Garners Creek Rd.

  • No lane closures this week

Performance Based Maintenance Work on I-24, I-65 and SR 840

Thursday August 29 through Wednesday September 4, 9AM-3PM, (excluding holiday weekend), There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:

  • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
  • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
  • I-65, Williamson

Thursday August 29 through Wednesday September 4, 8PM-5AM, (excluding holiday weekend), There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to repair guardrail on an as needed basis:

  • Tuesday September 3 and Wednesday September 4, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 10 (US 231) in both directions for milling, guardrail, and sidewalk repair operations.

WILSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 171 (Mt. Juliet Rd.) from the Davidson Co. line to north of SR 265

  • Thursday August 29 and Tuesday September 3 through Wednesday September 4, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 171 in both directions for pavement scoring and fog sealing the shoulders.

WILSON COUNTY, I-40 Widening from Central Pike to East of SR 109

  • Thursday August 29 through Wednesday September 4, 8PM-5AM, (excluding holiday weekend), There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 eastbound and westbound for excavation and hauling operations.  One lane will remain open in each direction.
  • Thursday August 29 through Wednesday September 4, 9AM-2PM, (excluding holiday weekend), There will be rolling road blocks on I-40 eastbound and westbound for blasting.  Police officers will be utilized.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on Lewisburg Pike from Les Watkins Rd. to Mack Hatcher Pkwy.

  • Thursday August 29 through Wednesday September 4, 9AM-3PM, (Friday work will be from 9AM-12 Noon), (excluding holiday weekend), There will be alternating lane closures on SR 106 in order to begin milling the roadway.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Construction on SR 397 (Mack Hatcher Pkwy) South of SR 96 to SR 6

  • From now through December 2013, The inside lanes of Mack Hatcher Pkwy. in both directions approximately ½  west of the Franklin Rd intersection will be closed in order to  perform median work and work on the next phase of construction.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 253(Concord Rd.) from US 31 (SR 6) to SR 252 (Wilson Pike) including Bridge Deck Repair

  • No lane closures this week

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, City of Franklin Construction

  • From now through November 2013, Hillsboro Road (SR 106) will be reduced from four lanes to two lanes between SR 96 and Independence Square to begin utility relocation for a sidewalk project.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, City of Franklin Construction, (SR 252 and McEwen Drive Intersection)

  • Tuesday September 3 and Wednesday September 4, 8PM-6AM, There will be a road closure on SR 252 at McEwen Dr. for the installation and connection of a waterline valve.  This closure is in conjunction with the intersection improvements at Wilson Pike/ McEwen Dr. which is being done by the City of Franklin.

 

TDOT Maintenance:

  • Thursday August 29, 9AM-3PM and until noon on Friday, August 30 and Tuesday September 3 through Wednesday September 4, 9AM-3PM,  There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:
  • I-24 Cheatham, Davidson, Montgomery and Robertson Counties
  • I-65 Davidson, Robertson, Williamson Counties
  • I-40 Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Hickman, Humphreys Counties

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY

  • Thursday August 29, 9AM-3PM and until noon on Friday August 30 and Tuesday September 3 through Wednesday September 4, 9AM-3PM and 7PM-1AM, There will be various shoulder closures in Davidson County for rock removal on all interstates.  All lanes will remain open.   
  • Thursday August 29 and Tuesday September 3 through Wednesday September 4, 8PM-1AM,  There will be alternating lane closures on various state routes for crack sealing.  One lane will remain open.  
  • Thursday August 29 until noon on Friday August 30 and Tuesday September 3 through Wednesday September 4, 9AM-3PM and 8PM-5AM, There will be mobile operations in various locations on the interstates in Davidson County for Drain Cleaning Operations.  This will affect the shoulders or inside and outside lanes.
  • Thursday August 29 and Tuesday September 3, 8PM-5AM, The on-ramp to I-65 south from I-440 eastbound will be closed for milling and paving.  Traffic will be diverted to the shoulder lane.   
  • Thursday August 29 and Tuesday September 3, 8PM-5AM, The two left lanes will be closed on I-24 westbound at the I-40 eastbound junction (over Murfreesboro Road) between mile marker 51 and mile marker 52 for milling and paving.  The two right lanes will remain open. 

 

TDOT Utilities

  • Wednesday September 4 through Saturday September 7, 9AM-3PM, The City of Franklin will have a lane closed on SR 246 (West Main St.) near 10th Ave. in order to open cut the roadway for utility work.
