Youth Waterfowl Hunts Application Deadline for Bogota WMA, Cypress WMA Is October 9

NASHVILLE --- The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency is reminding all youth duck hunters and their parents that the deadline for applying for the youth-only waterfowl hunts at Bogota and Thorny Cypress Wildlife Management Areas is by midnight on Wednesday, Oct. 9. 

The hunts are for youth ages 6-15. The hunts will be held on Saturday, Feb. 1 and Saturday, Feb. 8, 2014.

A computer drawing will be held to determine successful applicants. Youth may apply for these hunts at any TWRA license agent, at any of the four TWRA regional offices, or online at www.tnwildlife.org. All successful applicants must be accompanied by at least one non-hunting adult, plus they may bring up to four additional youth hunters as their guests on the day of the hunt.
