BEDFORD COUNTY, Reconstruction of US 231 (SR 10)

  • From now through November 2015, Traffic will be reduced from four (4) to two (2) lanes on US 231 (SR 10) in Shelbyville due to utility and grading operations. One lane will remain open in each direction with an added turning lane.

 

CHEATHAM COUNTY, Bridge Replacement on I-40 over the Harpeth River

  • From now through July 2016, Anderson Road at the I-40 overpass will be closed. Detours are in place.
  • Monday October 20 through Wednesday October 22, 9PM-5AM, There will be rolling roadblocks on I-40 in both directions at MM 190.0 in order to remove existing bridge beams. Operation will occur in 30-minute intervals. Troopers will be utilized.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Repair on I-65 over CSX Railroad, Rivergate Pkwy, Long Hollow Pike, E Cedar Street, & Mansker Creek

  • Thursday October 16 through Wednesday October 22, 8PM-6AM, There will be lanes closures on I-65 northbound from MM 96 to MM 99 so that paving and striping may be done.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Installation of Interchange Lighting on SR 386 (Vietnam Veterans Blvd) at the Junction of Conference Drive

  • From now through Wednesday December 31, 7AM-4PM, There will be shoulder closures on SR 386 (Vietnam Veterans Blvd) at Conference Drive for installation of lighting.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 255 (Harding Place) from I-24 to US 41 (US 70S/SR 1/Murfreesboro Road)

  • Thursday October 16 through Wednesday October 22, 8PM-6AM, There will be a lane closure on Harding Place from I-24 to Murfreesboro Road in order to stripe the roadway.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on US 70 (SR 24/Lebanon Road) from Middleton Street to Fesslers Lane

  • Thursday October 16 through Wednesday October 22, 8PM-6AM, There will be a lane closure on SR 24 from Middleton Street to Fesslers Lane in order to pave the roadway.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 45 (Old Hickory Blvd) from US 31W (US 41/SR 11/Dickerson Pike) to US 31E (SR 6/Gallatin Pike)

  • Thursday October 16 through Wednesday October 22, 8PM-6AM, There will be a lane closure on Old Hickory Blvd from Dickerson Pike to Gallatin Pike so that milling can be done.

 

DAVIDSON AND RUTHERFORD COUNTIES, Nashville Smartway ITS I-24 Expansion Project

  • Thursday October 16 through Wednesday October 22, 9AM–3PM, There will be alternating shoulder closures on I-24 (approximately between MM 58 and Elam Road) and SR 840 (approximately between MM 48 and MM 57) for pull box installation and conduit proving/repairs.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Local Programs Project (Metro Public Works)

  • Thursday October 16 through Wednesday October 22, 8AM-4PM, The right lane of Harding Place eastbound will be closed from Danby Drive to Timberhill Drive in order to install sidewalks.

 

DICKSON COUNTY, Bridge Repair on SR 48 over I-40

  • Saturday October 18 and Sunday October 19, 5AM–5PM, There will be a lane closure on I-40 westbound, from MM 164 to MM 162, in order to perform field measurements. One lane will remain open.

 

MACON COUNTY, Reconstruction of SR 10 from south of Goose Creek to SR 52

  • Thursday October 16 through Wednesday October 22, 7AM-5PM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 10 for clearing and grubbing operations, blasting operations and utility relocation.

 

MAURY COUNTY, Repair of SR 396W (Saturn Parkway) ramp to US 31S (SR 6)

  • Monday October 20 through Sunday October 26, 8AM-6PM, There will be lane shifts on the ramp from SR 396 West (Saturn Pkwy) to US 31 South (SR 6) in order to perform ramp repairs. Temporary lane shifts are also possible on US 31 (SR 6).

 

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Construction of New Interchange on SR 1 (Broad St) at SR 10/SR 96 (Memorial Blvd/Old Fort Pkwy)

  • Thursday October 16 through Wednesday October 22, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 96, Broad Street, Ridgely Road, and College Street for underground utility crossings.

 

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Grading, Drainage and Paving on I-65 Ramps to SR 253 (Concord Rd)

  • Friday October 17 through Wednesday 22, 8PM-6AM, There will be lane closures at the intersection of Concord Road and MacArthur Drive and the intersection of Concord Road and Lipscomb Drive so that drilling for signal poles may be done.

 

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of SR 253 (Concord Rd) from Sunset Road to Nolensville Road

  • Thursday October 16 through Wednesday October 22, 9AM-3PM, Traffic will be flagged during paving operations.

 

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from SR 840 to SR 248, Interchange Modifications and Widening on SR 248 from Lewisburg Pike to west of I-65

  • Thursday October 16 through Wednesday October 22, 1 PM, (excluding weekends), There will be rolling road blocks on I-65 in both directions, between MM 61 and MM 63, for blasting.

 

WILSON COUNTY, Removal and Replacement of HOV Signing & Markings on Various Interstate and State Routes

  • Saturday October 18 and Sunday October 19, 7AM-5PM, There will be short-term shoulder closures on all I-40 ramps (on/off, eastbound and westbound), from Exit 226 (SR 171/Mt. Juliet) to Exit 216 (SR 255/Donelson Pike), in order to install HOV signs.

Davidson County

  • Thursday October 16 through Wednesday October 22, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 155 (Briley Pkwy) from Thompson Lane to Glastonbury Road. One lane will remain open in each direction.
  • Thursday October 16 through Wednesday October 22, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on US 70 (SR 1) in Bellevue, from east of I-40 to SR 100. One lane will remain open in each direction.

Montgomery County

  • Thursday October 16 through Wednesday October 22, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 12 (Ashland City Road) from just east of Cumberland Drive to the SR 76 (Martin Luther King Jr Pkwy) intersection. One lane will remain open in each direction.  

 

Miscellaneous Safety Improvements on Various State Routes

Bedford County*

  • Thursday October 16 through Wednesday October 22, 6AM – 8PM, There will be temporary lane closures on SR 269, from Fairfield Pike to SR 64 in Wartrace, order to install various safety improvements.

Lincoln County*

  • Thursday October 16 through Wednesday October 22, 6AM–8PM, There will be temporary lane closures on US 231 (SR 10), from north of Warden Road in Fayetteville to the Lincoln-Moore County line, in order to install various safety improvements. 

Marshall County*

  • Thursday October 16 through Wednesday October 22, 6AM – 8PM, There will be temporary lane closures on SR 99, from SR 11 near Chapel Hill to SR 16 near Eagleville in Rutherford County, in order to install various safety improvements.
  • Thursday October 16 through Wednesday October 22, 6AM – 8PM, There will be temporary lane closures on SR 272, from Lewisburg city limits to Anes Station Road, in order to install various safety improvements. 

*Most closures will involve shoulder work; however, temporary closures of one lane with flagging operation will be used when shoulder is too narrow to permit safe travel. Striping will utilize mobile operations.

 

Performance Based Maintenance Work on I-24, I-65 and SR 840

  • Thursday October 16 through Wednesday October 22, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:
  • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
  • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
  • I-65, Williamson

 

  • Thursday October 16 through Wednesday October 22, 8PM-5AM, There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to repair guardrail on an as needed basis:
  • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
  • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
  • I-65, Williamson

 

  • Tuesday October 21 through Thursday October 23, 8PM-6AM, There will be lane closures on I-24 eastbound between MM 69.7 and MM 78.4 (Rutherford County) so that asphalt roadway repairs may be done.

  • Thursday October 16 through Wednesday October 22, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as-needed basis:
  • I-24 Cheatham, Davidson, Montgomery and Robertson Counties
  • I-65 Davidson, Robertson, and Williamson Counties
  • I-40 Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Hickman, and Humphreys Counties

 

  • Thursday October 16 through Wednesday October 22, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee for tree trimming and removal on an as-needed basis:
  • I-24 Cheatham, Montgomery and Robertson Counties
  • I-65 Maury and Robertson Counties
  • I-40 Cheatham, Dickson, Hickman and Humphreys Counties

 

Davidson County

  • Monday October 20 through Wednesday October 22, 8PM-5AM, There will be mobile operations in various locations for drain cleaning operations. This will affect the shoulders or inside and outside lanes.

 

Montgomery County

  • Thursday  October 16 through Tuesday October 21, 8PM-5AM,  There will be one lane closed on SR 76 (US 79) in both directions, from MM 12 to MM 13.1 (Dover Crossing at Barge Point Road), in order to pave and stripe the roadway. 

 

Robertson County

  • Thursday October 16 through Tuesday October 21, 8PM-5AM, There will be one lane closed on I-65 southbound, from MM 106.0 to MM 105.0, in order to mill, pave, and stripe the roadway.

Wilson County

  • Tuesday October 28 and Wednesday October 29, 8AM-3PM, There will be a lane closure on SR 266 (College Street) in Lebanon to repair the railroad grade crossing. One lane will remain open.

 

TDOT Region 3 Traffic

City of Nashville

  • Wednesday October 15, 9PM-5AM, There will be lane closures on SR 11 (Nolensville Road) at Morton Avenue for traffic signal installation work, including trenching and signal conduit installation. One lane will remain open in each direction at all times.

 

TDOT Region 3 Utilities

Davidson County

  • From now through Friday October 31, 7PM–6AM, There will be lane closures on SR 1 (Murfreesboro Road), from Menzler Lane to Fesslers Lane, in order for Piedmont Natural Gas to open cut and install a 6” gas main.
  • Sunday October 19, 7AM-10AM, There will be two rolling roadblocks on I-440 at Exit 6 (Melrose Avenue) in order for Star Construction to add a strand and fiber optic cable to existing poles.
  • Sunday October 19, 7AM–9AM, There will be two rolling roadblocks on I-24, in both directions, at Exit 59 (Bell Road) in order for Kane Konnections and Stansell Electric Co to transfer a strand and fiber optic cable to new poles.

 

Wilson County

  • Sunday October 19, 6:30 AM–12:00 Noon, There will be six rolling roadblocks on I-40, in both directions, near MM 242.0 in Lebanon in order for MTEMC to replace wire.

 

Marshall County

  • Sunday October 19, 7AM-10AM, There will be six rolling roadblocks on I-65, in both directions, at MM 27.23 (near SR 129/Lynnville Road) in order for Duck River Electric Co. to replace conductors.
