TDOC And Community Partners To Hold Resource Fair

MEMPHIS – The Tennessee Department of Correction is partnering with the City of Memphis, Shelby County and the Tennessee Re-Entry Collaborative to hold a resource and information fair for ex-offenders.  More than 50 organizations will be on hand to provide information and assistance with job training and placement, education, health care and faith-based community support.  Ex-offenders and their family members are encouraged to attend.   

Reducing the recidivism rate through evidence-based programs and continued support after an offender’s release from prison is a part of the Tennessee Department of Correction’s ongoing mission to ensure and increase the safety of the public.
