Birds of Panama Subject for November Nature @ Noontime Program

NASHVILLE --- Birds of Panama will be the subject for the November presentation of the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency’s Nature @ Noontime. The program will be held Thursday, Nov. 6 from noon-1 p.m. at the TWRA’s Region II Ray Bell Building.

Polly Rooker, a TWRA biologist for TWRA Region II, recently made a birding trip to Panama. She is a life-long member of the Tennessee Ornithology Society and is in her 37th year of service with the TWRA.

Hosted by the Information and Education Division, Nature @ Noontime is held the first Thursday of each month with the exception of July. TWRA Nature @ Noontime presentations are about natural resources related topics and last about 30-45 minutes, allowing time for discussion during the allotted lunch hour.
