CARROLL COUNTY, SR-424:  Bridge Replacement on State Route 424 over an overflow and the Big Sandy River.  Wednesday November 5 through Wednesday November 12:  Roadway is OPEN to traffic but there will be possible lane closures in both directions on State Route 424, going into Yuma from Clarksburg, for the duration of the project.

CARROLL COUNTY, SR-424:  Bridge Replacement on State Route 424 over the Rutherford Fork Obion River and overflows. Wednesday November 5 through Wednesday November 12:  A signal system is being utilized and will reduce traffic to one lane.

DECATUR COUNTY, SR-20 (US-412):  Resurfacing work will cause temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from Wilkinstown Road/Bear Creek Road to State Route 69.

DYER COUNTY, SR-3:  Resurfacing work will cause temporary lane closures in directions daily, from Biffle Road to South of State Route 105.  State Route 3 speed limit has been reduced to 60 MPH.

DYER COUNTY, SR-104:  Bridge Repair on State Route 104 over Lewis Creek Canal.  A signal system will be utilized and will reduce traffic to one lane with a 10’ 9” lane restriction.  Speed limit has been reduced to 30 MPH.

DYER COUNTY, SR-182:  Bridge Repair on State Route 182 over Coon Creek will cause the roadway to be CLOSED beginning Wednesday November 5, 2014.  Detour route will be posted.

DYER COUNTY, SR-211:  Resurfacing work will cause temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from State Route 77 to State Route 105.  Flagmen will be present.

FAYETTE COUNTY, I-40, Interchange at SR 222:  Wednesday November 5 through Wednesday November 12:  The east and westbound shoulders at Exit 42 are CLOSED.

FAYETTE COUNTY, SR-193:  Resurfacing work will cause temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from the Shelby County line to State Route 194.

FAYETTE COUNTY, SR-196:  Resurfacing work will cause temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from (US-64) State Route 15 to the junction of State Route 196 and Hickory Withe Road.

FAYETTE and SHELBY COUNTY, (SR-385) Future I-269:  Construction of I-269 from the interchange with State Route 385 to the Mississippi State line. State Route 385 is reduced to one lane in each direction for bridge construction.  The project intersects with US 72 (State Route 86) in the area of the Mann Road intersection.  State Route 86 is reduced to one lane in each direction for bridge construction in the median. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway from the construction zones and also crossing the roadways.

HARDIN COUNTY, SR-57:  Miscellaneous safety improvements at the intersection of State Route 57 & State Route 142, will result in temporary lane closures each day.

HAYWOOD COUNTY,  I-40:  Construction for the West Tennessee Solar Farm and Welcome Center, including removal of Albright Road bridge.  Wednesday November 5 through Wednesday November 12:  The westbound shoulders are temporarily closed for construction of ramp extension.

HAYWOOD COUNTY,  I-40:  Construction at the intersection of State Route 76 & I-40 at the weigh station.
Wednesday November 5 & Thursday November 6 & Sunday November 9 through Tuesday November 11, 8:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m.:  There will be temporary lane closures including inside/outside shoulders, eastbound & westbound I-40 (MM 49.12. to MM 50.53), for milling and paving operations.  HELP Truck will assist with traffic control.  Weather Permitting.

HENRY COUNTY, SR-69 (US-641):  Resurfacing work will cause temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from South Market Street to State Route 54/West Wood Street.

HENRY COUNTY, SR-69 (US-641):  Resurfacing work will cause temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from State Route 69A to US-79 (State Route 76).

HENRY COUNTY, SR-140:  Resurfacing work will cause temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from west of Rex Jackson Loop to State Route 76.

LAKE COUNTY, SR-22:  A widening project on State Route 22, south of State Route 21 in Tiptonville to existing State Route 22 (Cates Landing Rd.).  Roadway is OPEN to traffic but there will be possible lane closures in both directions on State Route 22, for the duration of the project.

LAUDERDALE COUNTY, SR-88:  Resurfacing work will cause temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from Edith-Nankipoo Road to State Route 210.

LAUDERDALE COUNTY, SR-208:  A widening project on State Route 208 (State Route 209/Cleveland Street) beginning at State Route 209 (Washington Street) and extending to State Route 208 at US-51/State Route 3 in Ripley.  There will be temporary lane closures daily.

MADISON COUNTY, US-70 (SR-1):  A bridge repair project over Gilmers Creek.  Wednesday November 5 through Wednesday November 12:  There will be possible lane closures in both the eastbound and westbound directions on State Route 1, for duration of the project.  Flaggers may be present.

MADISON COUNTY, US-70 (SR-1):  A bridge repair project at log mile 31.05.  Wednesday November 5 through Wednesday November 12:  There will be possible lane closures in both the eastbound and westbound directions on State Route 1, for duration of the project.  Flaggers may be present.

MADISON COUNTY, US-70 (SR-1):  A bridge repair project over Royal Street and West Tennessee Railroad. Workers will be present under the bridge, repairing cracks.  Motorists should use caution while traveling through construction zone.

MADISON COUNTY, SR-5:  A bridge repair project over Middle Fork Forked Deer River.  There will be workers under the bridge making repairs.  Motorists should use caution while traveling through construction zone.

OBION COUNTY, SR-431:  Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from the North Fork Obion River bridge to US-51 (State Route 3).

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40 Bridge over MS River Phase 8:
Wednesday November 5
through Wednesday November 12:  The left, inside shoulder of the exit ramp for westbound Interstate 40 to Second Street, is closed.  The ramp will remain open at all times.  The exit ramp from Westbound I-40 to Riverside Drive has been narrowed to 14 feet, the left shoulder and a small portion of the lane and “wide loads” are restricted from using this.  The ramp will remain open at all times.  The entrance ramp from Riverside Drive to I-40 Eastbound has been narrowed to 12 feet and “wide loads” are restricted from using this.  The ramp will remain open at all times.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40 Bridge over MS River Phase 9:
Wednesday November 5
through Wednesday November 12:  Traffic will remain in the current configuration until mid-November 2014.  Traffic on the bridge is configured as follows: work zone on the north side of the bridge, 2 lanes westbound traffic in the center of the bridge and 2 lanes eastbound traffic on south side of the bridge. Two lanes will remain open in each direction.  Lane closures on the I-40 bridge will be required until approximately March 15, 2015.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-240 North of SR-385 to North of Walnut Grove Rd.:  Wednesday November 5 through Wednesday November 12A widening project on I-240 will cause temporary lane closures. 

Wednesday November 5 & Thursday November 6, 8:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m.:  One right lane of I-240 westbound between MM 13.0 and MM 16.0, will be CLOSED, for the relocation and or removal of portable barrier along mainline I-240.  Weather Permitting.

Saturday November 8, 6:00 a. m.-5:00 p. m.:  One right lane of I-240 westbound between MM 15.0 and MM 16.0 will be CLOSED, for the removal of portable barrier rail along mainline I-240.  Weather Permitting

Sunday November 9 through Thursday November 13, 8:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m.:  Two left lanes of I-240 eastbound and two left lanes or 2 right lanes of I-240 westbound between MM 13.0 and MM 16.0 will be CLOSED, for the restriping and final paving of eastbound and westbound I-240.  Weather Permitting.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40/I-240 Phase 2 Interchange Improvements:  Wednesday November 5 through Wednesday November 12:  Modification of the I-40/I-240 interchange.

Beginning Monday February 10:  The right lane of eastbound Summer Avenue was CLOSED, beginning just west of the existing I-240 northbound bridge over Summer Avenue, for the installation of portable barrier rail to allow for construction of Abutment 1/Wall 12.  This will be a permanent lane closure.

Beginning in August 2014:  The left lane of Sam Cooper Boulevard Eastbound was CLOSED, beginning east of Perkins Road to the I-40/I-240 interchange for bridge construction.  The left lane of Sam Cooper Boulevard Westbound was CLOSED, beginning east of the I-40/I-240 interchange for bridge construction.

Beginning Saturday September 20:  There are shoulder closures in both directions of I-240 between Walnut Grove and I-40 interchange.  One lane of northbound I-240 will also be CLOSED in this same section.

Thursday November 6 through Wednesday November 12 (excluding Sunday), 9:00 a. m.-3:00 p. m:  The I-40 westbound ramp from Nashville to Little Rock, Exit 10B, will have intermittent ramp closures to allow for delivery of materials.  HELP Truck will assist with traffic control. Weather Permitting.

Saturday November 8, 5:00 a. m. through Sunday November 9, 7:30 p. m.:  The following will be closed:

  • East and westbound Sam Cooper Boulevard
  • I-240 eastbound connecting to I-40 westbound, including Exit 12C to go westbound Sam Cooper from westbound I-240
  • I-240 westbound (flyover) towards Jackson, MS from I-40 westbound

LOOK AHEAD: Saturday November 15, 5:00 a. m. through Sunday November 16, 7:30 p. m.:  The following will be closed:

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-1 (US-51): Monday November 10 through Thursday November 13:  There are no scheduled closures.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-14 (US-61):  A replacement of the bridge over Illinois Central Railroad from South Parkway to McLemore Avenue.  Roadway is CLOSED, a detour route is posted.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-15:  Resurfacing work will cause temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from Bartlett Boulevard to the Bridge over Fletcher Creek.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-86 (US-72)Construction on State Route 86 (US-72) for a widening project north of Quinn Road to State Route 57 (Poplar Avenue) in Collierville. Traffic is OPEN.

SHELBY COUNTY, Grade, drain, pave SR-177 (Germantown Rd); Crestridge Rd to Stout Rd:
Wednesday November 5
through Wednesday November 12There will be intermittent lane closures on State Route 177 (Germantown Road), between Germantown City Limits (log mile 1.65) to Stout Road (log mile 2.40).  The closures will be intermittent and for as short a time as possible.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-204:  Resurfacing work will cause temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from Raleigh-LaGrange Road to State Route 14.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-385:  Bridge Repair (2) on State Route 385 over Loosahatchie River. Traffic will be reduced to one northbound and one southbound lane; a twelve (12’) lane will be maintained in each direction.  Speed limit has been reduced to 55 MPH.

Wednesday November 05 through Wednesday November 12:  Bridge Repair (2) on State Route 385 over Memphis-Arlington Road at log mile 8.5 & Hall Creek at log mile 7.2.  Traffic will be reduced to one northbound and one southbound lane in each direction for paving operations and sealing the bridge deck.

TDOT REGION 4, On-Call Guardrail Repair and Concrete Barrier Rail:  Monday November 10 through Thursday November 13:  There will be night time lane closures at the following locations, to repair damaged concrete barrier rail.  THP will assist with traffic control.  Weather Permitting.

Concrete Barrier Rail

  • I-240, Shelby County, eastbound & westbound median (MM 21.0 to MM 30.0), one lane will remain open.
  • I-55, Shelby County, northbound median (MM 11.5 to MM 12.5), one lane will remain open.

TDOT REGION 4, On-Call Retracing of Pavement Marking with Paint:  Thursday November 6, 9:00 a. m.-4:00 p. m.:  There will be day time “rolling road blocks” at the following location, for retracing of pavement marking lines.  THP will assist with traffic control.  Weather Permitting.

  • I-40, Henderson County, eastbound & westbound (MM 95.0 to MM 107.7), one lane will remain open.

Saturday November 08 through Monday November 10, 9:00 a. m.-4:00 p. m.:  There will be day time “rolling road blocks” at the following location, for retracing of pavement marking lines.  THP will assist with traffic control.  Weather Permitting.

  • I-40, Haywood County, eastbound & westbound (MM 43.0 to MM 60.0), one lane will remain open.

through Wednesday November 12, 9:00 a. m.-4:00 p. m.:  There will be possible lane closures at various locations in Region IV in order to patch potholes on an as needed basis.  Weather Permitting.
