BEDFORD COUNTY, Reconstruction of US 231 (SR 10)

  • From now through November 2015, Traffic will be reduced from four (4) to two (2) lanes on US 231 (SR 10) in Shelbyville due to utility and grading operations. One lane will remain open in each direction with an added turning lane.

 

CHEATHAM COUNTY, Bridge Replacement on I-40 over the Harpeth River

  • From now through July 2016, Anderson Road at the I-40 overpass will be closed. Detours are in place.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Repair on SR 45 (Old Hickory Blvd) over the Cumberland River

  • From now through November 2015, Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction on SR 45 in Old Hickory due to bridge repair. One lane will remain open in each direction.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Installation of Interchange Lighting on SR 386 (Vietnam Veterans Blvd) at the Junction of Conference Drive

  • From now through Wednesday December 31, 7AM-4PM, There will be shoulder closures on Vietnam Veterans Blvd at Conference Drive for installation of lighting.

 

DAVIDSON AND RUTHERFORD COUNTIES, Nashville Smartway ITS I-24 Expansion Project

  • Thursday December 11 through Wednesday December 17, 9AM–3PM, There will be alternating shoulder closures on I-24 (approximately between MM 58 and Elam Road) and SR 840 (approximately between MM 48 and MM 57) for pull box installation and conduit proving/repairs.

 

DAVIDSON AND WILSON COUNTIES, Removal & Replacement of HOV Signing & Thermoplastic Markings on Various Interstates

  • Thursday December 11 through Wednesday December 17, 9AM-3PM, There will be shoulder closures on all I-24 ramps from Harding Place (Exit 56, SR 255) to Shelbyville Hwy (Exit 81, US 231) for installation of HOV signs.
  • Tuesday December 16 and Wednesday December 17, 8PM-6AM, There will be a lane closure on I-40 from the Mt Juliet interchange (Exit 226, SR 171) to the Airport entrance (Exit 216) for installation of HOV signs.

 

MACON COUNTY, Reconstruction of SR 10 from south of Goose Creek to SR 52

  • Thursday December 11 through Wednesday December 17, 7AM-5PM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 10 for clearing and grubbing operations, blasting operations and utility relocation.

 

MAURY AND WILLIAMSON COUNTIES, Construction of Median Crossovers on I-65

  • Thursday December 11 and Friday December 12, 7AM-5PM, There will lane closures on I-65 in both directions at MM 50.9 in Maury County and MM 55.3 in Williamson County for construction of median crossovers. Northbound lane closures will not begin until 9AM and southbound lane closures will end by 3PM.

 

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Construction of Two Bridges on SR 237 (Rossview Road) from west of I-24 to east of International Blvd

  • Wednesday December 10, 8PM–5AM, Traffic will be reduced to one lane on I-24 eastbound at Exit 8 (SR 237/Rossview Road) in order to place barrier rail along the shoulder. 

 

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Construction of New Interchange on SR 1 (Broad St) at SR 10/SR 96 (Memorial Blvd/Old Fort Pkwy)

  • Thursday December 11 through Wednesday December 17, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 96, Broad Street, Ridgely Road, and College Street for underground utility crossings.

 

SMITH COUNTY, Bridge Replacement on US 70N (SR 24/SR 53/Cookeville Hwy) over Caney Fork River

  • From now through Monday December 15, Traffic will be reduced to one lane on US 70N for grading operations. Traffic will be controlled by use of temporary traffic signals in that area.

 

SUMNER AND WILSON COUNTIES, Bridge Construction on SR 109 over the Cumberland River

  • Thursday December 11 through Wednesday December 17, 9AM-3PM, There will be lane closures on SR 109 for permanent striping and installation of bridge expansion joints.

 

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of SR 253 (Concord Rd) from Sunset Road to Nolensville Road

  • Thursday December 11 through Wednesday December 17, 9AM-3PM, Traffic will be flagged during paving operations.

 

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from SR 840 to SR 248, Interchange Modifications and Widening on SR 248 from Lewisburg Pike to west of I-65

  • Thursday December 11 through Wednesday December 17, 1 PM, (excluding weekends), There will be rolling road blocks on I-65 in both directions, between MM 61 and MM 63, for blasting. Weather dependent.

 

Relensing of Snowplowable Pavement Markers on Various Interstates and State Routes

  • Thursday December 11 through Wednesday December 17, 8PM-6AM, There will be moving lane closures at the following locations in order to relense snowplowable markers.

  • Thursday December 11, 7PM-6AM, There will be a lane closure on I-40 eastbound, from MM 187 to MM 189, near the bridge, in order to patch potholes.

Davidson County

  • Thursday December 11 through Wednesday December 17, 8PM-5AM, There will be mobile operations in various locations for drain cleaning operations.  This will affect the shoulders or inside and outside lanes.

Robertson County

  • Saturday, December 13, 7AM-4PM, There will be a lane closure on I-65 southbound at MM 105 for interstate paving.

 

TDOT Region 3 Survey

Rutherford County

  • Thursday December 11, 9AM-3PM, There will be lane and shoulder closures on I-24 westbound, from the SR 96 off-ramp to the SR 96 overpass, in order for crews to survey.

 

TDOT Region 3 Utilities

Davidson County

  • From now through Monday December 15, 9AM-2:30PM, There will be lane closures on SR 1 (Charlotte Pike), from Sawyer Brown Rd to SR 251 (Old Hickory Blvd), in order for NES to replace existing poles & anchors.
  • From now through Wednesday December 17, 9AM–3PM, There will be lane closures on SR 45 (Old Hickory Blvd), from Brick Church Pike to Dickerson Pike, in order for NES to rebuild the pole line in a west to east direction.

Williamson County

  • Sunday December 9 through Thursday December 18, 7PM–6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 6 (Franklin Road) in both directions, approximately 100’ east of executive Center Drive, in order for Piedmont Gas to install ¾” gas line.

 

Miscellaneous Non-TDOT Projects

HCA 

  • From now through Wednesday April 29, 2015, 6AM, 10AM and/or 2PM, The on-ramp to I-40 westbound from Charlotte Avenue (downtown) will be closed for 5-10 minutes for blasting operations in the area. This will occur weekly, Tuesdays through Saturdays.
