DECATUR COUNTY, SR-20 (US-412):  Resurfacing work will cause temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from Wilkinstown Road/Bear Creek Road to State Route 69.

DYER COUNTY, I-155:  Monday December 1 through Friday December 5, 8:00 p. m.-5:00 p. m.:  There will be temporary lane closures in both directions on I-155, for crack sealing.

DYER COUNTY, SR-3:  Resurfacing work will cause temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from Biffle Road to South of State Route 105. State Route 3 speed limit has been reduced to 60 MPH.

DYER COUNTY, SR-104:  Bridge Repair on State Route 104 over Lewis Creek Canal. A signal system will be utilized and will reduce traffic to one lane with a 10’ 9” lane restriction. Speed limit has been reduced to 30 MPH.

DYER COUNTY, SR-182:  Bridge Repair on State Route 182 over Coon Creek will cause the roadway to be CLOSED beginning Wednesday November 5, 2014. Detour route will be posted.

DYER COUNTY, SR-211:  Resurfacing work will cause temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from State Route 77 to State Route 105. Flagmen will be present.

FAYETTE COUNTY, I-40, Interchange at SR 222:  Wednesday December 3 through Wednesday December 10:  The east and westbound shoulders at Exit 42 are CLOSED.

Thursday December 4, 8:00 p. m.-5:00 a. m.:  There will be temporary lane closures on I-40 eastbound and westbound at Exit 42, for installation of thermoplastic striping.  THP & HELP Truck will assist with traffic control. Weather Permitting.

FAYETTE COUNTY, SR-193:  Resurfacing work will cause temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from the Shelby County line to State Route 194.

FAYETTE COUNTY, SR-196:  Resurfacing work will cause temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from (US-64) State Route 15 to the junction of State Route 196 and Hickory Withe Road.

FAYETTE and HAYWOOD COUNTY, SR-222:  A grading project on State Route 222 from north of I-40 to south of Camp Ground Road. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway from the construction zones and also crossing the roadways.

FAYETTE and SHELBY COUNTY, (SR-385) Future I-269:  Construction of I-269 from the interchange with State Route 385 to the Mississippi State line. State Route 385 is reduced to one lane in each direction for bridge construction. The project intersects with US 72 (State Route 86) in the area of the Mann Road intersection. State Route 86 is reduced to one lane in each direction for bridge construction in the median. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway from the construction zones and also crossing the roadways.

HARDIN COUNTY,  SR-15 (US-64):  A widening project on State Route 15 from Firetower Road to west of Bigbee Branch. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway from the construction zones and also crossing the roadways.

HAYWOOD COUNTY,  I-40:  Construction at the intersection of State Route 76 & I-40 at the weigh station. Wednesday December 3 through Wednesday December 10:  There are no scheduled closures.

HENRY COUNTY, SR-140:  Resurfacing work will cause temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from west of Rex Jackson Loop to State Route 76.

LAKE COUNTY, SR-22:  A widening project on State Route 22, south of State Route 21 in Tiptonville to existing State Route 22 (Cates Landing Rd.). Roadway is OPEN to traffic but there will be possible lane closures in both directions on State Route 22, for the duration of the project.

LAUDERDALE COUNTY, SR-88:  Resurfacing work will cause temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from Edith-Nankipoo Road to State Route 210.

LAUDERDALE COUNTY, SR-208:  A widening project on State Route 208 (State Route 209/Cleveland Street) beginning at State Route 209 (Washington Street) and extending to State Route 208 at US-51/State Route 3 in Ripley. There will be temporary lane closures daily.

MCNAIRY COUNTY-SR-57:  A bridge replacement project will cause a reduction in lanes in both directions on State Route 57. Beginning Monday December 1: Traffic will be reduced to one lane, with a temporary signal, for duration of the project.

OBION COUNTY, SR-431:  Resurfacing work will cause possible temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from the North Fork Obion River bridge to US-51 (State Route 3).

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40 Bridge over MS River Phase 8:
Wednesday December 3
through Wednesday December 10:  The left inside shoulder of the exit ramp for westbound Interstate 40 to Second Street is closed. The Exit ramp from Westbound I-40 to Riverside Drive has been narrowed to 14 feet (the left shoulder and a small portion of the lane) and “wide loads” are restricted from using this. The Entrance ramp from Riverside Drive to I-40 Eastbound has been narrowed to 12 feet and “wide loads” are restricted from using this.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40 Bridge over MS River Phase 9:
Monday December 1 & Tuesday December 02: 
Traffic on the Hernando DeSoto Bridge over the Mississippi River is reduced to two narrow lanes in both directions for over a mile through this workzone. On Wednesday, December 3, the westbound traffic was placed into a new traffic shift and will need to slow down to 45 miles per hour through the shift.

Wednesday December 03
through Wednesday December 10I-40 speed limit has been reduced to 55 MPH.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-240 North of SR-385 to North of Walnut Grove Rd.:

Monday December 1 through Thursday December 4, 8:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m:  Either two left or two right lanes of westbound I-240 between mile marker 13.0 and mile marker 16.0, will be CLOSED, for final paving. Also, one left lane of eastbound I-240 between mile marker 16.0 and mile marker 13.0, will be CLOSED, for the installation of permanent signs on median barrier rail. Weather Permitting.

Saturday, December 6, 6:00 a. m.-6:00 p. m.:
Sunday December 7 & Monday December 8, 6:00 p. m.-6:00 a.m.:

The exit ramp from westbound I-240 to eastbound Walnut Grove (Ramp 17B) and the entrance ramp from westbound Walnut Grove to westbound I-240 (Ramp 17D) will be closed for milling and paving operations.. Weather Permitting.

Saturday, December 6, 6:00 a. m.-6:00 p. m.:  I-240 west will have the right lane CLOSED for paving of the right shoulder of mainline I-240. Weather Permitting.

Sunday December 7 through December 11, 8:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m:  One left lane of eastbound I-240 will be CLOSED, for painting of glare screen. Weather Permitting.

Tuesday December 9 through Thursday December 11, 6:00 p. m.-6:00 a.m.:  There will be a lane/ramp closures for paving of ramps 15A, 15B, 15C and 15D.

15A is the entrance ramp from eastbound Poplar Avenue to westbound I-240

15B is the exit ramp from westbound I-240 to eastbound Poplar

15C is the exit ramp from westbound I-240 to westbound Poplar Avenue

15D is the entrance ramp from westbound Poplar to westbound I-240.

Not all ramps will be CLOSED simultaneously and emergency vehicles will have access at all times.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40/I-240 Phase 2 Interchange Improvements:
Summer Avenue:
The right lane east and westbound is CLOSED in both directions, beginning just west of the existing I-240 northbound bridge over Summer Avenue to allow for construction access.

Sam Cooper EB: The left lane of Sam Cooper Boulevard Eastbound is CLOSED, beginning east of Perkins Road to the I-40/I-240 interchange.

Sam Cooper WB: The left lane of Sam Cooper Boulevard Westbound is CLOSED, beginning east of the I-40/I-240 interchange.

I-240:  There are shoulder closures in both directions of I-240 between Walnut Grove and I-40 interchange.  One lane of northbound I-240 is also CLOSED in this same section.

I-40 WB: The outside shoulder is closed from Sycamore View to the Wolf River Bridge for construction access.

Thursday December 4 through Wednesday December 10 (excluding Sunday), 9:00 a. m.-3:00 p. m.:  Summer Avenue will be reduced to one lane in each direction beginning near the intersection with White Station, extending to the red light at the existing Summer Avenue entrance ramps. Be prepared for a traffic shift. One lane will remain open.

Wednesday December 10 through Friday December 12, 9:00 a. m.-3:00 p. mExit 10B from Sam Cooper Boulevard to go westbound on I-40 will be CLOSED, to safely install steel girders over the ramp. A detour route will be posted. Weather Permitting.

Saturday December 13, 6:30 a. m.-5:00 p. m.:(BACK UP DATE)  Exit 10B from Sam Cooper Boulevard to go westbound on I-40 will be CLOSED, to safely install steel girders over the ramp. A detour route will be posted.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-1 (US-51):  Wednesday December 3 through Wednesday December 10: There are no scheduled closures.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-1 (US-70):  Monday December 1 through Friday December 5:  There will be temporary lane closures on State Route 1 in both directions between mile marker 30.5 and mile marker 31.5, to facilitate geotechnical borings.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-14 (US-61):  A bridge repair project on State Route14 over I-55 and on South Parkway West over I-55.

Wednesday November 26 through Wednesday December 10:  The northbound and southbound shoulders are closed for expansion joint repairs.

Friday December 5, 7:00 p. m. through Monday December 8, 6:00 a. m.:  There will be intermittent lane closures on I-55, two lanes will be closed, one lane will remain open, for switching traffic as needed, to allow for the removal and replacement of the parapet rail on the bridge on South Parkway over I-55. Exit 10/Northbound I-55 will be CLOSED and the ramp from South Parkway toward Northbound I-55 will be CLOSED.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-86 (US-72)Construction on State Route 86 (US-72) for a widening project north of Quinn Road to State Route 57 (Poplar Avenue) in Collierville. Traffic is reduced to one lane in each direction.  South Rowlett Street is closed to through traffic in the vicinity of the State Route 86 bridge over the Norfolk Southern Railroad.  Motorists may use Wilson Street to Harris Street as a detour.

SHELBY COUNTY, Grade, drain, pave SR-177 (Germantown Rd); Crestridge Rd to Stout Rd:
Wednesday December 3
through Wednesday December 10:  There will be intermittent lane closures on State Route 177 (Germantown Road), between Germantown City Limits (log mile 1.65) to Stout Road (log mile 2.40).  The closures will be intermittent and for as short a time as possible.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-385:  Bridge Repair (2) on State Route 385 over Loosahatchie River. Traffic will be reduced to one northbound and one southbound lane; a twelve (12’) lane will be maintained in each direction.  Speed limit has been reduced to 55 MPH.

Wednesday December 3 through Wednesday December 10:  Bridge Repair (2) on State Route 385 over Memphis-Arlington Road & Hall Creek. Traffic will be reduced to one northbound and one southbound lane in each direction for paving operations and sealing the bridge deck.

TDOT REGION 4, On-Call Guardrail Repair and Concrete Barrier Rail:  Monday December 8 through Saturday December 13, 8:00 p. m-6:00 a. m.:  There will be night time lane closures at the following locations, to repair damaged guardrail/concrete barrier rail. THP will assist with traffic control. Weather Permitting.

  • SR-15, Fayette County, eastbound median (MM 10.0 to MM 11.0), one lane will remain open.

  • I-40, Madison County, eastbound median (MM 72.0 to MM 92.0), one lane will remain open.
  • I-40, Shelby County, eastbound and westbound (MM 23.0 to MM 31.0), one lane will remain open. Also, this includes partial ramp closures on I-240 westbound ramp to I-55 southbound.
  • SR-14, Shelby County, northbound (MM 0.0 to MM 1.0), one lane will remain open.

Concrete
I-40, Shelby County, eastbound median (MM 0.0 to MM 1.0), one lane will remain open.

TDOT REGION 4 On-Call Signing:  Monday December 8, Tuesday December 9 & Wednesday December 09 (as back up dates), 9:00 a. m.-3:00 p. m.:  There will be day time lane closures at the following locations, for the installation of bridge mounted mile markers. Weather Permitting.

  • SR-385, Shelby County, northbound and southbound (MM 16.4 to MM 19.4) (MM 26.8 to MM 29.8) and (MM 35.2 to MM 35.4), one lane will remain open.

TDOT REGION 4, On-Call Retracing of Pavement Marking with Paint:  Wednesday December 3 through Wednesday December 10:  There are no scheduled closures.

through Wednesday December 10, 9:00 a. m.-4:00 p. m.There will be possible lane closures at various locations in Region IV in order to patch potholes on an as needed basis. Weather Permitting.
