Operation Rocky Top

KNOXVILLE - Continuing with its mission to enhance public safety the Tennessee Department of Correction visited the homes of more than 50 high risk offenders Thursday, February 6, 2014. The “warrant sweep”, named Operation Rocky Top, was designed to increase the safety of Knoxville residents by serving outstanding warrants and apprehending high risk offenders in the Knoxville area.

In a joint effort to apprehend as many high risk offenders as possible, TDOC Probation and Parole Officers and Apprehension Enforcement Agents teamed up with Knoxville Police and the U.S. Marshals Service.

During the operation, nine individuals were arrested on 18 outstanding warrants. Those arrested were:

- Kenneth Spencer, Arrested for Violation of Probation

- Eddie Martin, Arrested for Violation of Probation and a Child Support Warrant

- Shayla Trent, Arrested for four (4) Child Support Warrants

-Jerrod Roe, Arrested for Blount County Violation of Probation

-Chadwick W. Carr, Arrested for a Blount County Violation of Probation

- Joseph Huckleby Jr., Arrested for Violation of Probation, Failure to obey court order x (2), Theft Attachment and two (2) Juvenile Petitions.

-Anna Brymer Arrested for Violation of Probation.

-Timothy Weaver Arrested for Violation of Probation.

-Joseph Conwell Arrested for Violation of Probation.

“Operation Rocky Top is part of our agency’s mission to enhance public safety through effective community supervision,” said Commissioner Derrick Schofield. “Offenders under TDOC supervision should take notice that we will not compromise public safety and if non-compliant swift action will be taken.”
