DAVIDSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from Trinity Lane to Dickerson Rd.

  • Thursday February 13, Monday February 17, and Wednesday February 19, 12 Noon-3PM, There will be rolling roadblocks on I-65 southbound between the I-24 ramp and Trinity Lane for blasting.  Troopers will be utilized.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Construction on Gallatin Rd. over the CSX Railroad

  • From now through April 2014, Gallatin Rd. will be reduced to one lane in each direction in this area.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Repair on Gallatin Rd. from Briley Pkwy. to I-65 over Ellington Pkwy. Ramp

  • Thursday February 13 through Wednesday February 19, 7AM-3PM, There will be a shoulder closure on SR6 at Briley Pkwy on ramp for installation of concrete pad.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Repair on I-40 over Jefferson St. and the Nashville & Western Railroad, Including the Pedestrian Bridge over I-40

  • Wednesday February 12 through Wednesday February 19, 7AM-7PM, There will be alternating lane closures on Jefferson St. under I-40 in order to paint the bridge.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Performance Based Maintenance Work on I-24, I-65 and SR 840

  • Thursday February 13 through Wednesday February 19, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:
    • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
    • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
    • I-65, Williamson
  • Thursday February 13 through Wednesday February 19, 8PM-5AM, There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to repair guardrail on an as needed basis:
    • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
    • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
    • I-65, Williamson

DAVIDSON AND SUMNER COUNTIES, Installation of Smartway ITS Message Signs

  • Thursday February 13 through Wednesday February 19, 7AM-3PM, There will be a shoulder closure on I-40 WB MM 215 (Briley Pkwy/ Airport area) for installation of conduit and wire.
  • Thursday February 13 through Wednesday February 19, 7AM-3PM, There will be a shoulder closure on I-24 WB MM 42.2 on left and right sides for wire and conduit installation.
  • Thursday February 13 through Wednesday February 19, 7AM-3PM, There will be a shoulder closure on SR386 near Conference Dr. east bound on ramp on both right and left shoulders for DMS foundation and conduit installation.
  • Thursday February 13 through Wednesday February 19, 7AM-3PM, There will be a shoulder closure on I-40 from MM 203 to MM 204 for trenching and to install pull boxes poles and conduit.
  • Thursday February 13 through Wednesday February 19, 9PM-5AM, There will be a rolling roadblock on SR386 near Conference Dr. east bound and west bound at MM 1.8 to install DMS. There will be uniformed officers to slow and stop traffic for maximum of 30 minutes to swing structure. Traffic control personnel will block the ramp at Conference Dr. onto SR386. There will also be a left and right lane closure to erect vertical uprights and guardrail installation.
  • Thursday February 13 through Wednesday February 19, 9PM-5AM, There will be a rolling roadblock on I-24 WB at MM 42.2. Traffic will be slowed and stopped for a maximum of 30 minutes to install DMS. Uniformed Officers will be used. Traffic control personnel to block the on ramp at Briley Pkwy onto I-24. There will also be a left and right lane closure to install vertical panels and guardrail installation.
  • Thursday February 13 through Wednesday February 19, 9PM-5AM There will be a lane closure on I-40 WB at MM 202 for guardrail installation.

DAVIDSON AND RUTHERFORD COUNTIES, Nashville Smartway ITS I-24 Expansion Project

  • Thursday February 13 through Tuesday February 18, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating shoulder closures on both I-24 eastbound and westbound and SR 840 (approximately between Mile Marker 48 and Mile Marker 57) for road boring and conduit installation and DMS foundation work.
  • Thursday February 13 through Tuesday February 18, 9PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on both I-24 eastbound and westbound (approximately between Mile Marker 57 and Mile Marker 86)  for road boring and conduit installation and DMS foundation work.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Ramp Repair on SR 45 (Old Hickory Boulevard) ramp to I-40 Westbound near Summit Hospital

  • Friday February 14, 8PM through Monday February 17, 6AM, Old Hickory Boulevard southbound ramp to I-40 will be closed in order to repair ramp. Traffic will be detoured.

WILSON COUNTY, I-40 Widening from Central Pike to East of SR 109

  • Thursday February 13 through Wednesday February 19, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 eastbound and westbound in order to patch asphalt.  One lane will remain open in each direction.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from SR 840 to SR 248, Interchange Modifications and Widening on SR 248 from Lewisburg Pike to west of I-65

  • Thursday February 13 and Friday February 14, 10AM-2PM, There will be a rolling roadblock on I-65 NB and SB at MM 62 for blasting in the median. Police Officers will be used. There will also be alternating lane closures between MM 62 and 63 for asphalt repair.
  • Thursday February 13, 10AM-12 Noon There will be alternating lane closures on I-65 northbound between MM 62 and MM 63 for emergency asphalt repair.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Construction on SR 397 (Mack Hatcher Pkwy) South of SR 96 to SR 6

  • Thursday February 13 through Wednesday February 19, 9AM-3PM, There will be a lane closure for Jordan Rd. at SR96 and on SR 96 westbound for pot holing to locate gas and water lines.  Flaggers will be utilized.
  • Thursday February 13 through Wednesday February 19, 9AM-3PM,  There will be a lane closure for the eastbound turn lane on Liberty Pike and the southbound turn lane from Mack Hatcher to set signal poles.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of SR 253 (Concord Rd.) from Sunset Rd. to Nolensville Rd.

  • Thursday February 13 through Wednesday February 19, 9AM-3PM, Traffic will be flagged during trench & bore pit blasting operations near the roadway.
  • Thursday February 13 through Wednesday February 19, 8PM-5AM, There will be lane closures at the intersection of Nolensville Road & Concord Road for signal work.

 

TDOT Maintenance:

Middle Tennessee

  • Thursday February 13, Friday February 14 and Tuesday February 18 through Wednesday February 19, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekends), There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:
  • I-24 Cheatham, Davidson, Montgomery and Robertson Counties
  • I-65 Davidson, Robertson, Williamson Counties
  • I-40 Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Hickman, Humphreys Counties

Smith County

  • Thursday February 13 and Friday February 14, 10AM-3PM, The right lane will be closed on I-40 eastbound between mile marker 263 and mile marker 264 for taking core samples and bridge inspection.  One lane will remain open.  

 

TDOT Region 3 Utilities

  • Sunday February 16, 7AM-7PM, The right lane and shoulder will be closed on State Route 431 northbound from Old Hickory Blvd (SR 45) for approximately 1000’ of roadway in order for NES to perform power line roadwork.
  • Monday February 17 through Friday February 21, 9AM-2PM, There will be a lane closure on SR 48 N (Trenton Rd.) between Merriweather Rd. and Hazelwood Rd. in Clarksville for utility relocation.
  • From now through Friday February 27, 6AM-6PM, There will be alternating lane closures on 8th Ave. near Commerce St. and Hume Fogg High School in order for NES to excavate the roadway for installation of an electrical vault.
  • From now through Thursday March 6, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures at the intersection of Rio Vista Dr. and Old Hickory Blvd. (SR 45) and ending at Bridge Way Ave. in Davidson County in order for NES to remove control cables.
