New TFWC Officers Elected; Commissioner McMillin Honored for Tenure as Chairman

NASHVILLE --- The Tennessee Fish and Wildlife Commission has elected its new officers for 2014-15 and Dr. Jeff McMillin was honored for his tenure as the commission’s chairman for the past year.

Jeff Griggs, of Lexington, was named the TFWC’s new chairman. He served as the group’s vice-chairman for the past year. He will preside over his first meeting as TFWC chairman on March 27.

Jim Bledsoe, of Jamestown, will move into the role as vice-chairman after serving a year as the TFWC secretary. Harold Cannon of Lenoir City will move into the office of secretary.

Dr. Jeff McMillin was recognized for his leadership the past year and presented a plaque of appreciation by new chairman Jeff Griggs. He will continue to serve on the TFWC until 2017.

The TFWC serves as the governing body of the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency.
