DAVIDSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from Trinity Lane to Dickerson Rd.

  • Friday February 28, Monday March 3 and Wednesday March 5, 12 Noon-3PM, There will be rolling roadblocks on I-65 southbound from Dickerson Rd. to Trinity Lane for blasting.  Troopers will be utilized.
  • Friday February 28, 9PM-5AM, There will be litter/trash pickup on I-65 N & S from Trinity Lane to Dickerson Road, inside and outside against barrier wall.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Construction on Gallatin Rd. over the CSX Railroad

  • From now through April 2014, Gallatin Rd. will be reduced to one lane in each direction in this area.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Repair on I-40 over Jefferson St. and the Nashville & Western Railroad, Including the Pedestrian Bridge over I-40

  • Wednesday February 26 through Wednesday March 5, 7AM-7PM, There will be alternating lane closures on Jefferson St. under I-40 in order to paint the bridge.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Performance Based Maintenance Work on I-24, I-65 and SR 840

  • Thursday February 27 through Wednesday March 5, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:
    • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
    • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
    • I-65, Williamson
  • Thursday February 27 through Wednesday March 5, 8PM-5AM, There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to repair guardrail on an as needed basis:
    • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
    • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
    • I-65, Williamson

DAVIDSON AND SUMNER COUNTIES, Installation of Smartway ITS Message Signs

  • Thursday February 27 through Wednesday March 5, 7AM-3PM, There will be a shoulder closure on I-40 WB mile marker 215 (Briley Pkwy/ Airport area) for installation of conduit and wire.
  • Thursday February 27 through Wednesday March 5, 7AM-3PM, There will be a shoulder closure on I-24 WB mile marker 42.2 on left and right sides for wire and conduit installation.
  • Thursday February 27 through Wednesday March 5, 7AM-3PM, There will be a shoulder closure on State Route 386 near Conference Dr. east bound on ramp on both right and left shoulders for DMS foundation and conduit installation.
  • Thursday February 27 through Wednesday March 5, 7AM-3PM, There will be a shoulder closure on I-40 from mile marker 203 to mile marker 204 for trenching and to install pull boxes poles and conduit.

DAVIDSON AND RUTHERFORD COUNTIES, Nashville Smartway ITS I-24 Expansion Project

  • Thursday February 27 through Tuesday March 4, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating shoulder closures on both I-24 eastbound and westbound and SR 840 (approximately between Mile Marker 48 and Mile Marker 57) for road boring and conduit installation and DMS foundation work.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Local Programs Project (Metro Public Works)

  • Thursday February 27 through Wednesday March 5, 8AM-4PM, The right lane of Harding Place eastbound will be closed from Danby Drive to Timberhill Dr. in order to install sidewalks.

WILSON COUNTY, I-40 Widening from Central Pike to East of SR 109

  • Thursday February 27 through Wednesday March 5, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 eastbound and westbound in order to patch asphalt.  One lane will remain open in each direction.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from SR 840 to SR 248, Interchange Modifications and Widening on SR 248 from Lewisburg Pike to west of I-65

  • Thursday February 27, 10AM-2PM, There will be two rolling roadblocks on I-65 NB and SB at MM 62 for blasting. Police officers will be used.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Construction on SR 397 (Mack Hatcher Pkwy) South of SR 96 to SR 6

  • Thursday February 27 through Wednesday March 5, 9AM-3PM, There will be a temporary lane closure and traffic shift at the SE and NW corners of SR96.  On Franklin Rd., the right turn lanes will be temporarily closed in order to install the mast arms for traffic signals.  Uniformed officers will be present.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of SR 253 (Concord Rd.) from Sunset Rd. to Nolensville Rd.

  • Thursday February 27 through Wednesday March 5, 9AM-3PM, Traffic will be flagged during trench & bore pit blasting operations near the roadway.
  • Thursday February 27 through Wednesday March 5, 8PM-5AM, There will be lane closures at the intersection of Nolensville Road & Concord Road for signal work.

TDOT Maintenance:

Middle Tennessee

  • Thursday February 27 through Wednesday March 5, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekends),There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:
  • I-24 Cheatham, Davidson, Montgomery and Robertson Counties
  • I-65 Davidson, Robertson, Williamson Counties
  • I-40 Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Hickman, Humphreys Counties

Wilson County

  • Thursday February 27, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 eastbound off ramp at exit 226-C (Providence Mall) for installing arrows and stop bars.  One lane will remain open.

 

TDOT Bridge Repair:

Davidson County

  • Thursday February 27, 9AM-3PM, The right lane will be closed on I-65 northbound at mile marker 86 (over the Cumberland River) for bridge inspection.  Two lanes will remain open.
  • Tuesday March 4 through Thursday March 6, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating right lane closures on State Route 45 in both directions (over the Cumberland River) at Log Mile 9.26 for bridge inspection.  One lane will remain open.

 

TDOT Region 3 Utilities

  • Wednesday February 26 through Wednesday March 5, 8PM-4AM, There will be lane closures on Rosa Parks Blvd. near 10th Circle N. in order for Comcast to install conduit under the roadway.
  • From now through Friday March 21, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on 8th Ave. near Commerce St. and Hume Fogg High School in order for NES to excavate the roadway for installation of electrical conduit.
  • From now through Thursday March 6, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures at the intersection of Rio Vista Dr. and Old Hickory Blvd. (SR 45) and ending at Bridge Way Ave. in Davidson County in order for NES to remove control cables.

 

TDOT Materials and Tests:

  • Monday March 3, 9AM-12 Noon, Marshall County, SR 106, There will be a rolling lane closure on SR 106 from SR 272 (Spring Place Rd.) to SR 50 (Commerce St.) while cores are taken from the roadway. One lane will remain open at all times.
