DAVIDSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from Trinity Lane to Dickerson Rd.

  • No lane closures this week

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Construction on Gallatin Rd. over the CSX Railroad

  • From now through April 2014, Gallatin Rd. will be reduced to one lane in each direction in this area.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Repair on I-40 over Jefferson St. and the Nashville & Western Railroad, Including the Pedestrian Bridge over I-40

  • Wednesday March 19 through Wednesday March 26, 7AM-7PM, There will be alternating lane closures on Jefferson St. under I-40 in order to paint the bridge.
  • Friday March 21, 9PM through Monday March 24, 5AM, There will be one lane closured on I-40 eastbound and westbound between mile marker 206 and mile marker 208. There will be two lanes open in both directions. The on-ramps to I-40 from Jefferson St. and the on-ramp from 28th Ave will be closed. Detour signs will be installed.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Performance Based Maintenance Work on I-24, I-65 and SR 840

  • Thursday March 20 through Wednesday March 26, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:
    • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
    • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
    • I-65, Williamson
  • Thursday March 20 through Wednesday March 26, 8PM-5AM, There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to repair guardrail on an as needed basis:
    • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
    • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
    • I-65, Williamson

 

DAVIDSON AND SUMNER COUNTIES, Installation of Smartway ITS Message Signs

  • Thursday March 20 through Wednesday March 26, 7AM-3PM, There will be a shoulder closure on I-40 westbound at mile marker 215 (Briley Pkwy/ Airport area) for static pole, installation of conduit, wire and site cleanup.
  • Thursday March 20 through Wednesday March 26, 7AM-3PM, There will be a shoulder closure on I-24 westbound at mile marker 42.2 on left and right sides for site cleanup.
  • Thursday March 20 through Wednesday March 26, 7AM-3PM, There will be a shoulder closure on State Route 386 near Conference Dr. eastbound on ramp on both right and left shoulders for site cleanup.
  • Thursday March 20 through Wednesday March 26, 7AM-3PM, There will be a shoulder closure on I-40 from mile marker 203 to mile marker 204 for pole, wire installation and site cleanup.

DAVIDSON AND RUTHERFORD COUNTIES, Nashville Smartway ITS I-24 Expansion Project

  • Thursday March 20 through Tuesday March 25, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating shoulder closures on both I-24 eastbound and westbound and SR 840 (approximately between Mile Marker 48 and Mile Marker 57) for road boring and conduit installation and DMS foundation work.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Local Programs Project (Metro Public Works)

  • Thursday March 20 through Wednesday March 26, 8AM-4PM, The right lane of Harding Place eastbound will be closed from Danby Drive to Timberhill Dr. in order to install sidewalks.

HUMPHREYS COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-40 from the Benton Co. line to the Hickman Co. line including Bridge Repair

  • Friday March 21, 8PM through Monday March 24, 6AM, I-40 reduced to one lane in each direction near MM 137.0 in order to perform bridge repairs.  Troopers will be utilized.

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Construction of a New Interchange on SR 1 at SR 10 (Broad St.) and SR 96

  • Thursday March 20 through Tuesday March 25, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 96 eastbound and westbound over the CSX Railroad just west of the intersection in order to install traffic attenuators and barrier rail.

WILSON AND SUMNER COUNTIES, Bridge Construction on SR 109 over the Cumberland River

  • Saturday March 22, 7AM-5PM, There will be intermittent lane closures in both directions on State Route 109 over the Cumberland River for switching traffic from the existing roadway and bridge to the new roadway and bridges.  

WILSON COUNTY, On- Call Signing Installation

  • Wednesday March 26 and Thursday March 27, 8PM-6AM, The left lane of the eastbound ramp on I-40 at Exit 226 (SR-171/Mt. Juliet Rd.) will be closed for changes to existing signs. The changes will be to the Belinda Parkway sign.

WILSON COUNTY, I-40 Widening from Central Pike to East of SR 109

  • Thursday March 20 through Wednesday March 26, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 eastbound and westbound in order to patch asphalt.  One lane will remain open in each direction.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from SR 840 to SR 248, Interchange Modifications and Widening on SR 248 from Lewisburg Pike to west of I-65

  • No lane closures this week

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Construction on SR 397 (Mack Hatcher Pkwy) South of SR 96 to SR 6

  • Thursday March 20 through Wednesday March 26, 9AM-3PM, There will be a lane closure on Franklin Rd. north of Mack Hatcher in order to cut shoulder to grade. (northbound and southbound outside lanes.)

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of SR 253 (Concord Rd.) from Sunset Rd. to Nolensville Rd.

  • Thursday March 20 through Wednesday March 26, 9AM-3PM, Traffic will be flagged during trench & bore pit blasting operations near the roadway.

  • Thursday March 20 through Wednesday March 26, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekends), There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:

  • I-65 Davidson, Robertson, Williamson Counties

  • Thursday March 20 through Wednesday March 26, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekends), There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee for tree trimming and removal on an as needed basis:
  • I-24 Cheatham, Montgomery and Robertson Counties
  • I-65 Maury and Robertson Counties
  • I-40 Cheatham, Dickson, Hickman and Humphreys Counties

 

TDOT Bridge Repair

Davidson County

  • Thursday March 20, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-440 in both directions between MM 4.79 and MM 4.8
  • Tuesday March 25, 8PM-4AM, The two left lanes will be closed on I-40 westbound between mile marker 206 and mile marker 204 for bridge repair.  One lane will remain open.
  • Wednesday March 26, 8PM-4AM, The two right lanes will be closed on I-40 westbound between mile marker 206 and mile marker 204 for bridge repair.  One lane will remain open.

 

TDOT Region 3 Utilities

  • From now through Monday April 21, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on 8th Ave. near Commerce St. and Hume Fogg High School in order for NES to excavate the roadway for installation of electrical conduit.

 

TDOT Materials and Tests

  • Thursday March 20, Marshall County, 9AM-12Noon, There will be a rolling lane closure on SR 106 from Spring Place Rd. to Commerce St. (SR 50) while cores are taken from the roadway. Flagging will be utilized where appropriate and one lane will remain open at all times.
  • Friday March 21, Rutherford County, 9AM-12Noon, There will be a rolling lane closure on SR 268, from SR 1 ( US-41/70S) to SR 10 ( US-231) in Rutherford County while cores are taken from the roadway. Flagging will be utilized where appropriate and one lane will remain open at all times.

 

Railroad Bridge Repair Over Riverside Drive in Clarksville (RJ Corman-Contractor)

  • Thursday March 20 through Wednesday March 26, 9AM-3PM,  SR 12 will be reduced to one lane in each direction from Mile Marker 13.8 to 14.2 (approximately between Adams Street and Crossland Ave. on Riverside Drive) in order to repair Railroad overhead bridge at Log Mile 13.96.
