DAVIDSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from Trinity Lane to Dickerson Rd.

  • Friday March 7, Monday March 10 and Wednesday March 12, 12 Noon-3PM, There will be rolling roadblocks on I-65 southbound from Dickerson Rd. to Trinity Lane for blasting.  Troopers will be utilized.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Construction on Gallatin Rd. over the CSX Railroad

  • From now through April 2014, Gallatin Rd. will be reduced to one lane in each direction in this area.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Repair on I-40 over Jefferson St. and the Nashville & Western Railroad, Including the Pedestrian Bridge over I-40

  • Wednesday March 5 through Wednesday March 12, 7AM-7PM, There will be alternating lane closures on Jefferson St. under I-40 in order to paint the bridge.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Performance Based Maintenance Work on I-24, I-65 and SR 840

  • Thursday March 6 through Wednesday March 12, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:
    • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
    • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
    • I-65, Williamson
  • Thursday March 6 through Wednesday March 12, 8PM-5AM, There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to repair guardrail on an as needed basis:
    • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
    • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
    • I-65, Williamson
  • Monday March 10 through Tuesday March 11, 9AM–3PM, There will be a shoulder closures on I-24 Exit 70 WB off ramp and EB on ramp.  This is to install under drains. 

DAVIDSON AND SUMNER COUNTIES, Installation of Smartway ITS Message Signs

  • Thursday March 6 through Wednesday March 12, 7AM-3PM, There will be a shoulder closure on I-40 WB mile marker 215 (Briley Pkwy/ Airport area) for installation of conduit and wire.
  • Thursday March 6 through Wednesday March 12, 7AM-3PM, There will be a shoulder closure on I-24 WB mile marker 42.2 on left and right sides for wire and conduit installation.
  • Thursday March 6 through Wednesday March 12, 7AM-3PM, There will be a shoulder closure on SR386 near Conference Dr. eastbound on ramp on both right and left shoulders for DMS foundation and conduit installation.
  • Thursday March 6 through Wednesday March 12, 7AM-3PM, There will be a shoulder closure on I-40 EB & WB from mile marker 203 to mile marker 204 for trenching and to install pull boxes poles and conduit

DAVIDSON AND RUTHERFORD COUNTIES, Nashville Smartway ITS I-24 Expansion Project

  • Thursday March 6 through Tuesday March 11, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating shoulder closures on both I-24 eastbound and westbound and SR 840 (approximately between Mile Marker 48 and Mile Marker 57) for road boring and conduit installation and DMS foundation work.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Local Programs Project (Metro Public Works)

  • Thursday March 6 through Wednesday March 12, 8AM-4PM, The right lane of Harding Place eastbound will be closed from Danby Drive to Timberhill Dr. in order to install sidewalks.

HUMPHREYS COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-40 from the Benton Co. line to the Hickman Co. line including Bridge Repair

  • Friday March 7, 8PM through Monday March 10, 5AM, I-40 reduced to one lane in each direction from Mile Marker 133 to 138 in order to mark and perform bridge repairs.  Troopers will be utilized.

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Construction of  a New Interchange on SR 1 at SR 10 (Broad St.) and SR 96

  • Wednesday March 12 through Thursday March 13, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 96 eastbound and westbound over the CSX Railroad just west of the intersection in order to install traffic attenuators and barrier rail.

WILSON AND SUMNER COUNTIES, Bridge Constructiona SR 109 over the Cumberland River

  • Thursday March 6 through Wednesday March 12, 6AM-9AM and 3PM-5PM, There will be alternating lane closures on State Route 109 over the Cumberland River for asphalt paving and utility crossing.  One lane will remain open.

WILSON COUNTY, I-40 Widening from Central Pike to East of SR 109

  • Thursday March 6 through Wednesday March 12, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 eastbound and westbound in order to patch asphalt.  One lane will remain open in each direction.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from SR 840 to SR 248, Interchange Modifications and Widening on SR 248 from Lewisburg Pike to west of I-65

  • Wednesday March 5, 8PM through 12 Midnight, There will be a right lane closure on I-65 southbound at mile marker 62 for guardrail repair.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Construction on SR 397 (Mack Hatcher Pkwy) South of SR 96 to SR 6

  • No lane closures this week

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of SR 253 (Concord Rd.) from Sunset Rd. to Nolensville Rd.

  • Thursday March 6 through Wednesday March 12, 9AM-3PM, Traffic will be flagged during trench & bore pit blasting operations near the roadway.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Sign Installation on SR 840 at lane mile 31

  • Thursday March 6 through Friday March 7, 9AM-3PM, There will be a right lane closure westbound on SR 840 approximately at L.M. 31 to install a cantilever sign structure and sign. One lane will remain open at all times.
  • Thursday March 6 through Friday March 7, 9AM-3PM, There will be a right lane closure westbound on SR 840 approximately at the bridge over Lewisburg Pike to install I-beam supports and sign. One lane will remain open at all times.

  • Thursday March 6 through Wednesday March 12, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekends),There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:

  • I-65 Davidson, Robertson, Williamson Counties
  • I-40 Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Hickman, Humphreys Counties

 

Sumner County

  • Thursday March 6 and Friday March 7, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on State Route 6 (Gallatin Road) at Rockland Road for water line repair.  One lane will remain open.           

Davidson County, Sign Replacement on SR174 (Long Hollow Pike) from Cartwright to 400’ West of the intersection

  • Thursday, March 6, 9AM-3PM, There will be one lane closed on State Route 174 (Long Hollow Pike) from Cartwright to 400’ west of the intersection to install a sign.  One lane will remain open.

TDOT Region 3 Utilities

  • From now through Friday March 21, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on 8th Ave. near Commerce St. and Hume Fogg High School in order for NES to excavate the roadway for installation of electrical conduit.
