DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Construction on Gallatin Rd. over the CSX Railroad

  • From now through April 2014, Gallatin Rd. will be reduced to one lane in each direction in this area.
  • Wednesday April 16 through Wednesday April 23, 9AM-3PM (excluding holiday weekend), There will be a temporary lane closure to shift traffic for paving on Gallatin Rd.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Repair on I-40 over Jefferson St. and the Nashville & Western Railroad, Including the Pedestrian Bridge over I-40

  • Wednesday April 16 through Wednesday April 23, 7AM-7PM (excluding holiday weekend), There will be alternating lane closures on Jefferson St. under I-40 in order to paint the bridge.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Misc. Safety Improvements on I-65 from East of Rosa L. Parks Blvd. to near Fern Ave. Including ramp to I-24 Eastbound

  • Monday April 21 through Friday April 25, 8PM-5AM, There will be temporary lane closures on I-65 in both directions from east of Rosa L. Parks Boulevard (LM 9.56) to near Fern Avenue (including ramp to I-24 EB) (LM 10.95) in order to install pavement markings. 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Performance Based Maintenance Work on I-24, I-65 and SR 840

  • Thursday April 17 through Wednesday April 23, 9AM-3PM (excluding holiday weekend), There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:
  • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
  • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
  • I-65, Williamson
  • Thursday April 17 through Wednesday April 23, 8PM-5AM (excluding holiday weekend), There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to repair guardrails on an as needed basis:
  • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
  • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
  • I-65, Williamson

DAVIDSON AND RUTHERFORD COUNTIES, Nashville Smartway ITS I-24 Expansion Project

  • Thursday April 17 through Tuesday April 22, 9AM-3PM, (excluding holiday weekend), There will be alternating shoulder closures on both I-24 eastbound and westbound and SR 840 (approximately between Mile Marker 48 and Mile Marker 57) for road boring and conduit installation and DMS foundation work.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Local Programs Project (Metro Public Works)

  • Thursday April 17 through Wednesday April 23, 8AM-4PM, (excluding holiday weekend), The right lane of Harding Place eastbound will be closed from Danby Drive to Timberhill Dr. in order to install sidewalks.

BEDFORD/RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-24 from West of SR 840 to East of SR 840 and from East of Epps Mill Rd. to the Coffee County Line

  • Monday April 21 through Wednesday April 23, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-24 eastbound and westbound in order to mill and pave the roadway.  One lane will remain open in each direction.

WILSON COUNTY, I-40 Widening from Central Pike to East of SR 109

  • Monday April 21 through Wednesday April 23, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 eastbound and westbound in order to pave.  One lane will remain open in each direction.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from SR 840 to SR 248, Interchange Modifications and Widening on SR 248 from Lewisburg Pike to west of I-65

  • Monday April 21 through Wednesday April 23, 8PM-5AM, The left lane will be closed in both directions on I-65 to place base stone in the median. State Troopers will be utilized.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Construction on SR 397 (Mack Hatcher Pkwy) South of SR 96 to SR 6

  • Thursday April 17, 9AM-3PM, There will be temporary lane closures on Franklin Road and Mack Hatcher for milling. There will also be lane closures at the intersection of SR96 and Mack Hatcher to install loops.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of SR 253 (Concord Rd.) from Sunset Rd. to Nolensville Rd.

  • Thursday April 17 through Wednesday April 23, 9AM-3PM, (excluding holiday weekend), Traffic will be flagged during trench & bore pit blasting operations near the roadway.

WILSON-SUMNER COUNTY, School Zone Improvements

  • Thursday April 17 and Monday April 21 through Tuesday April 22, 8:30AM-2:30PM, There will be a temporary lane closure on Mt. Juliet Road from the area of Faulkner Lane and Woodridge Place in the eastern most northbound lane of traffic to allow for digging and concrete equipment to dig, form and pour the foundation for the solar signal pole in this location.

  • Thursday April 17 through Wednesday April 23, 9AM-3PM, (excluding holiday weekend), There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:
  • I-24 Cheatham, Davidson, Montgomery and Robertson Counties
  • I-65 Davidson, Robertson, Williamson Counties
  • I-40 Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Hickman, Humphreys Counties
  • Thursday April 17 through Wednesday April 23, 9AM-3PM, (excluding holiday weekend), There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee for tree trimming and removal on an as needed basis:
  • I-24 Cheatham, Montgomery and Robertson Counties
  • I-65 Maury and Robertson Counties
  • I-40 Cheatham, Dickson, Hickman and Humphreys Counties

Davidson County

  • Tuesday April 22 and Wednesday April 23, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-24 at the Silliman Evans Bridge in both directions for bridge inspection crews to inspect the bridge.  Three lanes will remain open in each direction at all times.

 

TDOT Region 3 Utilities

Davidson County

  • Monday April 21 through Thursday April 24, and Sunday April 27 through Thursday July 31, 7PM-6AM, There will be lane closures on SR 1 (Murfreesboro Rd.) from Menzler Lane to Fesslers Lane in order for Piedmont Natural Gas to open cut and install a 6” gas main.
  • From now through Monday April 21, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on 8th Ave. near Commerce St. and Hume Fogg High School in order for NES to excavate the roadway for installation of electrical conduit.
  • Wednesday April 23 and Thursday April 24, 7PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on Briley Pkwy. southbound and northbound (SR 155) under the James Ave. Bridge in order for Piedmont Natural Gas to replace support hangers.

Montgomery County

  • From now through Wednesday April 30, 9AM-2PM, There will be temporary lane closures in both directions on SR 48 North (Trenton Road) between 8.0 MM (Needmore Road) and the 10.5 MM (Meriwether Road) in Clarksville to pull new cable for utility relocation. The Clarksville Department of Electricity will be doing the work. Flag Pro will be taking care of the work zone. Weather permitting.
