DAVIDSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from Trinity Lane to Dickerson Rd.

  • No lane closures this week

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Construction on Gallatin Rd. over the CSX Railroad

  • From now through April 2014, Gallatin Rd. will be reduced to one lane in each direction in this area.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Repair on I-40 over Jefferson St. and the Nashville & Western Railroad, Including the Pedestrian Bridge over I-40

  • Wednesday April 2 through Wednesday April 9, 7AM-7PM, There will be alternating lane closures on Jefferson St. under I-40 in order to paint the bridge.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Performance Based Maintenance Work on I-24, I-65 and SR 840

  • Thursday April 3 through Wednesday April 9, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:
    • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
    • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
    • I-65, Williamson
  • Thursday April 3 through Wednesday April 9, 8PM-5AM, There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to repair guardrail on an as needed basis:
    • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
    • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
    • I-65, Williamson
  • Saturday April 5, 6AM-12PM (Noon), Traffic will be shifted on the ramps at I-24 and Waldron Road in LaVergne in order to mill and pave.  Flaggers will be utilized.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Ramp Repair on Old Hickory Blvd. to I-40 W near Summit Hospital

  • Friday April 4, 6PM through Monday April 7, 6AM, Old Hickory Boulevard southbound ramp to I-40 will be closed in order to repair ramp. Traffic will be detoured.

DAVIDSON AND SUMNER COUNTIES, Installation of Smartway ITS Message Signs

  • Thursday April 3 through Wednesday April 9, 7AM-3PM, There will be a shoulder closure on I-40 westbound at mile marker 215 (Briley Pkwy/ Airport area) for static pole, installation of conduit, wire and site cleanup.
  • Thursday April 3 through Wednesday April 9, 7AM-3PM, There will be a shoulder closure on I-24 westbound at mile marker 42.2 on left and right sides for site cleanup.
  • Thursday April 3 through Wednesday April 9, 7AM-3PM, There will be a shoulder closure on State Route 386 near Conference Dr. eastbound on ramp on both right and left shoulders for site cleanup.
  • Thursday April 3 through Wednesday April 9, 7AM-3PM, There will be a shoulder closure on I-40 from mile marker 203 to mile marker 204 for pole, wire installation and site cleanup.

DAVIDSON AND RUTHERFORD COUNTIES, Nashville Smartway ITS I-24 Expansion Project

  • Thursday April 3 through Tuesday April 8, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating shoulder closures on both I-24 eastbound and westbound and SR 840 (approximately between Mile Marker 48 and Mile Marker 57) for road boring and conduit installation and DMS foundation work.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Local Programs Project (Metro Public Works)

  • Thursday April 3 through Wednesday April 9, 8AM-4PM, The right lane of Harding Place eastbound will be closed from Danby Drive to Timberhill Dr. in order to install sidewalks.

MAURY COUNTY, Local Programs Project

  • Monday April 7 through Thursday April 10, 8AM-4PM,  There will be alternating lane closures on James Campbell Blvd. from Trotwood west approximately 1,000 L.F. and from Trotwood to James Campbell Blvd North 600 L.F. on the west side of Trotwood in order to perform intersection improvements.

MAURY COUNTY, Intersection Improvements on SR 6 at Carters Creek Pike and Bakers Road

  • Monday April 7 through Thursday April 10, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on Hwy 31/Baker Road and Hwy 31/Carters Creek in order to perform intersection improvements.

HUMPHREYS COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-40 from the Benton Co. line to the Hickman Co. line including Bridge Repair

  • Friday April 4, 8PM through Monday April 7, 6AM, I-40 reduced to one lane in each direction from MM 140-MM142 in order to perform bridge repairs.  Troopers will be utilized.

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Construction of a New Interchange on SR 1 at SR 10 (Broad St.) and SR 96

  • Thursday April 3 through Tuesday April 8, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 96, Broad St., and College St. in order to prepare for a traffic shift.

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Removal and Replacement of HOV Signing and Markings

  • Saturday April 5, 1AM-8PM, There will be two lanes closed on I-24 eastbound starting just west of Harding Place to east of Sam Ridley Pkwy in order to work on permanent striping.
  • Sunday April 6, 1AM-8PM, There will be two lanes closed on I-24 westbound from east of Sam Ridley to west of Harding Place in order to work on permanent striping.

WILSON COUNTY, I-40 Widening from Central Pike to East of SR 109

  • Thursday April 3 through Wednesday April 9, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 eastbound and westbound in order to patch asphalt.  One lane will remain open in each direction.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from SR 840 to SR 248, Interchange Modifications and Widening on SR 248 from Lewisburg Pike to west of I-65

  • Sunday April 6 through Wednesday April 9, 8PM-5AM, The left lane will be closed in both directions on I-65 to place base stone in the median. State Troopers will be utilized.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Construction on SR 397 (Mack Hatcher Pkwy) South of SR 96 to SR 6

  • Thursday April 3 through Wednesday April 9, 9AM– 3PM, There will be lane closures at all intersections for various work to be performed for intersection tie-ins and traffic signal work.
  • Saturday April 5, 6AM-4PM, Liberty Pike will be closed at Mack Hatcher for milling and paving. There will also be a temporary lane closure on SR 96 in both directions to mill and pave. Officers will be used at both locations and a detour plan will also be used.
  • Sunday April 6, 6AM-4PM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 96 in both directions in order to mill and pave the roadway.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of SR 253 (Concord Rd.) from Sunset Rd. to Nolensville Rd.

  • Thursday April 3 through Wednesday April 9, 9AM-3PM, Traffic will be flagged during trench & bore pit blasting operations near the roadway.

  • Thursday April 3 through Wednesday April 9, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekends), There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:
  • I-24 Cheatham, Davidson, Montgomery and Robertson Counties
  • I-65 Davidson, Robertson, Williamson Counties
  • I-40 Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Hickman, Humphreys Counties

 

  • Thursday April 3 through Wednesday April 9, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekends), There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee for tree trimming and removal on an as needed basis:
  • I-24 Cheatham, Montgomery and Robertson Counties
  • I-65 Maury and Robertson Counties
  • I-40 Cheatham, Dickson, Hickman and Humphreys Counties

 

Williamson County

  • Thursday April 3, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on State Route 840 in both directions in Williamson County between Exit 23 (SR-246 Carters Creek Rd.) and Exit 31 (I-65/Nashville/Huntsville) due to resurfacing.  One lane will remain open.

TDOT Region 3 Utilities

  • From now through Monday April 21, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on 8th Ave. near Commerce St. and Hume Fogg High School in order for NES to excavate the roadway for installation of electrical conduit.
  • Saturday April 5 and Sunday April 6, 7AM-3PM, There will be one lane closed on Concord Rd. westbound (over the CSX Railroad) just west of I-65 in order for Piedmont Natural Gas to perform maintenance on a gas line under the bridge.
  • Sunday April 6, 6AM-8AM, There will be rolling roadblocks on SR 254 (OHB) at the intersection with Seven Springs Way in Brentwood in order for Comcast to pull aerial lines across the roadway.
  • Sunday April 6, 6AM-8AM, There will be rolling roadblocks on SR 266 near the intersection of Sam Ridley Pkwy. and Chaney Rd. in Smyrna in order for Comcast to pull aerial lines across the roadway.
  • Sunday April 6 through Thursday April 10, 8PM-5AM, There will be two lanes of I-65 northbound and southbound (near MM 85) closed in order for Metro Water to replace pipe hangers on a water line under the 3rd Ave. Bridge.
  • Sunday April 6 through Thursday April 10, 8PM-5AM, There will be one lane of SR 155 (Briley Pkwy.) eastbound and westbound closed over the Cumberland River in order for Piedmont Natural Gas to work on a gas line.

 

  • Monday April 7 through Wednesday April 30, 9AM-2PM, There will be temporary lane closures in both directions on SR 48 North (Trenton Rd.) between 8.0 MM (Needmore Road ) and the 10.5 MM ( Meriwether Road ) in Clarksville to pull new cable for  utility relocation. The Clarksville Department of Electricity will be doing the work, Flag Pro will be taking care of the work zone. Weather permitting.
  • Monday April  7 through Friday April  11, 9AM-2PM, The right  lane will be closed  north bound  on SR. 13 / U.S. 79  north  (Wilma Rudolph Blvd.) between 25.0 MM (Needmore Lane ) and the 26.0 MM  (Dunlop Lane ) in Clarksville to pull new cable and to do a utility crossing at Wilma Rudolph Blvd. and Needmore Road. The Clarksville Department of Electricity will be doing the work, Flag Pro will be taking care of the work zone. Weather permitting.

 

TDOT Bridge Inspection on I-440 Interchange, I-40 Interchange over I-65 (six bridges)

  • Wednesday April 9 through Friday April 11, 9PM-5AM, There will be one lane closed in each direction to inspect 6 bridges for Bridge Asbestos Survey.  One lane will remain open.
