DAVIDSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from Trinity Ln. to Dickerson Rd.

  • Thursday May 1 and Friday May 2, 9PM–5AM, The right lane of I-65 southbound will be closed from the I-24 entrance to Trinity Lane in order to shift barrier rail. 

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Repair on I-40 over Jefferson St. and the Nashville & Western Railroad, Including the Pedestrian Bridge over I-40

  • Thursday May 1 through Wednesday May 7, 7AM-7PM, There will be alternating lane closures on Jefferson Street under I-40 in order to paint the bridge.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Misc. Safety Improvements on I-65 from East of Rosa L. Parks Blvd. to near Fern Ave. Including ramp to I-24 Eastbound

  • Monday May 5 through Friday May 9, 8PM-5AM, There will be temporary lane closures on I-65 in both directions from east of Rosa L. Parks Boulevard to near Fern Avenue (including ramp to I-24 EB) in order to install pavement markings. 

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Ramp Repair on SR 45 (Old Hickory Blvd.) ramp to I-40 Westbound near Summit Hospital

  • Thursday May 1, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on Old Hickory Blvd in order to seal joints.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on US 31W (Dickerson Rd.) from Dry Creek Road to the CSX Railroad

  • Thursday May 1 through Wednesday May 7, 8PM-6AM, There will be lane closures on US 31 W from Dry Creek Road to the CSX Railroad in order to mill the roadway, adjust castings, and perform concrete work. 

 

DAVIDSON AND RUTHERFORD COUNTIES, Nashville Smartway ITS I-24 Expansion Project

  • Thursday May 1 through Tuesday May 6, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating shoulder closures on both I-24 eastbound and westbound and SR 840 (approximately between MM 48 and MM 57) for road boring and conduit installation and DMS foundation work.

 

DAVIDSON AND WILSON COUNTIES, Removal and Replacement of HOV Signing & Markings

  • Thursday May 1, 8PM-5AM, There will be a lane closure on I-40 eastbound between Briley Pkwy and Mt Juliet Road for HOV pavement marking.
  • Friday May 2 and Saturday May 3, 8PM Friday - 8PM Saturday, There will be a lane closure on I-40 westbound from Mt Juliet Road to Briley Pkwy for HOV pavement marking.
  • Sunday May 4, 5AM-8PM, There will be a lane closure on I-40 in both directions as needed to complete the work from Briley Pkwy to Mt Juliet Road

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Local Programs Project (Metro Public Works)

  • Thursday May 1 through Wednesday May 7, 8AM-4PM, The right lane of Harding Place eastbound will be closed from Danby Drive to Timberhill Drive in order to install sidewalks.

 

HUMPHREYS COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-40 from the Benton County Line to the Hickman County Line including Bridge Repair

  • Friday May 2 through Monday May 5, 8PM Friday - 6AM Monday, I-40 will be reduced to one lane in both directions from either MM 136 to MM 139 or from MM 140 to MM 142 (depending on weather) in order to perform bridge repairs.  Troopers will be utilized.

 

MAURY COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-65 from the Marshall County Line to North of SR 99

  • Thursday May 1 through Wednesday May 7, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-65 northbound and southbound for paving operations.

 

MAURY COUNTY, Intersection Improvements on US 31/SR 6 (Nashville Hwy.)

  • Thursday May 1 through Wednesday May 7, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on US 31 at Baker Road and US 31 at Carters Creek Pike in order to perform intersection improvements.

 

MAURY COUNTY, Local Programs Project

  • Thursday May 1 through Wednesday May 7, 9AM-3PM, There will be lane closures on SR 6 from Cayer Lane to Raider Lane in order to install barrier rail.
  • Thursday May 1 through Wednesday May 7, 8AM-4PM, There will be alternating lane closures on James Campbell Blvd at Trotwood Ave in order to perform intersection improvements.

 

BEDFORD/RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-24 from West of SR 840 to East of SR 840 and from East of Epps Mill Rd. to the Coffee County Line

  • Thursday May 1 through Wednesday May 7, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-24 eastbound and westbound in order to mill and pave the roadway.  One lane will remain open in each direction.

 

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Construction of New Interchange on SR 1 (Broad St.) at SR 10/SR 96 (Memorial Blvd./Old Fort Pkwy.)

  • Sunday May 4 through Wednesday May 7, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on Broad Street and College Street for underground utility crossings.

 

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from SR 840 to SR 248, Interchange Modifications and Widening on SR 248 from Lewisburg Pike to west of I-65

  • Saturday May 3, 6AM-6PM, There will be rolling roadblocks on I-65 northbound between MM 53 (Saturn Pkwy) and MM 61.5 (Goose Creek Bypass/Peytonsville Rd) to set steel girders for SR 248.

 

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Construction on SR 397 (Mack Hatcher Pkwy) South of SR 96 to SR 6

  • Thursday May 1 through Wednesday May 7, 9AM-3PM, (including weekends), There will be temporary lane closures at all intersections for paving.

 

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of SR 253 (Concord Rd.) from Sunset Rd. to Nolensville Rd.

  • Thursday May 1 through Wednesday May 7, 9AM-3PM, Traffic will be flagged during trench & bore pit blasting operations near the roadway.

 

WILSON COUNTY, I-40 Widening from Central Pike to East of SR 109

  • Thursday May 1 through Wednesday May 7, 8PM-5AM, (excluding Sunday), There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 eastbound and westbound in order to pave and to shift traffic.  One lane will remain open in each direction.

 

Performance Based Maintenance Work on I-24, I-65 and SR 840

  • Thursday May 1 through Wednesday May 7, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:
  • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
  • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
  • I-65, Williamson

 

  • Thursday May 1 through Wednesday May 7, 8PM-5AM, There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to repair guardrail on an as needed basis:
  • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
  • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
  • I-65, Williamson

  • Thursday May 1 through Wednesday May 7, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekends), There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:
  • I-24 Cheatham, Davidson, Montgomery and Robertson Counties
  • I-65 Davidson, Robertson, Williamson Counties
  • I-40 Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Hickman, Humphreys Counties

 

  • Thursday May 1 through Wednesday May 7, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekends),  There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee for tree trimming and removal on an as needed basis:
  • I-24 Cheatham, Montgomery and Robertson Counties
  • I-65 Maury and Robertson Counties
  • I-40 Cheatham, Dickson, Hickman and Humphreys Counties

 

Giles County

  • Tuesday May 6, 8AM-3:30PM, and Wednesday May 7, 7AM-3:30PM, Both northbound and southbound lanes will be closed on the bridge over Elk River on SR 07 (US 31) at MM 5.45 to remove debris from the Elk River.  No lanes will remain open.  All through traffic will be detoured north on I-65 from Exit 1 (Ardmore) to Exit 6 (SR 273) to SR 07 (US 31). 

 

TDOT Bridge Repair:

Smith County

  • Friday May 2, 9AM-3PM, The right lane will be closed on I-40 eastbound in Smith County at MM 263 for bridge inspection.  One lane will remain open.

 

TDOT Region 3 Utilities

Davidson County

  • From now through Thursday July 31, 7PM-6AM, There will be lane closures on SR 1 (Murfreesboro Rd) from Menzler Lane to Fesslers Lane in order for Piedmont Natural Gas to open cut and install a 6” gas main.
  • From now through Thursday May 8, 7PM-6AM, There will be lane closures on White Bridge Road at Post Road in order for Piedmont Natural Gas to repair a leak.
  • Sunday May 4 through Thursday May 8, 7PM-6AM, There will be lane closures on SR 6 at 923 Main Street (Shell Building) in order to open cut for a water service.

 

Montgomery County

  • Thursday May 1 through Saturday May 31, 9AM-2PM, There will be lane closures on SR 48 N (Trenton Road) between Needmore Road and Meriwether Road in Clarksville for utility relocation.

 

TDOT Traffic:

  • Thursday May 1 through Wednesday May 7, 9PM-5AM, There will be temporary lane closures in each direction on SR 11 (Nolensville Pike) at Morton Avenue for underground utility location. Only one lane will be shut down at a time.
