ZipStream Fall Creek Falls Scheduled to Open in Summer 2014

Pikeville, Tenn.Tennessee State Parks, ArborTrek Canopy Adventures and The Adventure Guild, LLC announce the development of an aerial adventure park at Fall Creek Falls State Park.

Scheduled to open in Summer 2014, ZIPStream Fall Creek Falls will be open to the public daily during the summer season and on weekends in the spring and fall. The ZIPStream is designed to accommodate a diverse demographic with opportunities suitable for children as young as four as well as active seniors.

“We are very excited to introduce this great new addition to Fall Creek Falls State Park,” Deputy Commissioner Brock Hill said. “We believe visitors of all ages will enjoy ZIPStream Fall Creek Falls.”

The 2.5-hour, self-guided experience allows visitors to explore the course at their own pace. Six routes will be available, each consisting of 8-13 elements and graded from easy to extreme, reaching heights of 40 feet. The course will incorporate a new system, which ensures 100% connectivity to the flexible lifelines that run above the elements. Certified guides will be present to provide instruction, encouragement and assistance.

“We hope to give visitors to the park one more reason to return or to extend their stay for a few days,” ZIPStream Fall Creek Falls President Michael Smith said.

Adventure Guild launched the ZIPStream brand in 2010 offering an “Americanized” version of the concept designed to meet U.S. standards and expectations.
