All Lanes from State Route 96 to State Route 6 Open to Traffic

FRANKLIN, Tenn. – Tennessee Department of Transportation has completed the widening of Mack Hatcher Parkway (State Route 397) from south of State Route 96 to State Route 6 in Williamson County. All lanes are now open to traffic.

Paving was completed this week. Overnight lane closures are planned Friday, May 16, through Wednesday, May 21, in order to stripe the roadway. Other incidental work, including landscaping and signage, will continue for several days with minimal impact to traffic.

Construction started on this nearly three-mile section of Mack Hatcher Parkway in September 2011. The $23.4 million dollar project widened the route from two to four lanes, and added double left turn lanes at major intersections and an adjacent pathway for pedestrians and bicyclists.
