Lane Closures Scheduled on I-40/I-240 Interchange

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) will have temporary lane closures during the week on the I-40/240 interchange as work continues on the project.

All work and lane closures will take place during non-peak hours.

On Wednesday, May 21, the right lane of exit ramp 12A on I-240 north (Summer Avenue) will be closed from 8:00 p.m. until 3:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 22.

On Wednesday, May 21, the left lane of exit ramp 10A of I-40 westbound (Jackson, Miss. exit) will be closed for ramp work from 8:00 p.m. until 12:00 a.m.

On Thursday, May 22, lanes on Summer Avenue will be reduced to one lane in either direction for work on the I-240 bridge over Summer. Closures will be between White Station and Frontage Roads from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

The work is weather dependent.  Should inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances prevent this work from occurring as scheduled, it will be rescheduled.
